ALTHOUGH SCHOOL WASNT BAD FOR ANITA AFTERWARDS SHE STILL FELT HUMILIATED ABOUT WHAT HAD HAPPENED AT LUNCH TIME BUT SHE CONTINUED on with her day as normal until she got home
When she did she walked into her 'House' only to see some laundry on her bed. She walked over and looked at the note that was placed on top

She let off a small scoff and picked the basket up before she went outside to hang up all of the clothes but as she did she gained some company
"Look who it is Cleo"
"It's the girl who Ryder chased after in the lunch hall" anita looked away as she remebered
"Awe.. are you embarrassed?"
Cleo: "Well you should be. It was embarrassing. But we came here to tell you that we have lists of Chores on our beds for you to do" anita nodded and went to walk away but instead she was stopped by destiny holding onto her arm
"But if we see you with Ryder again, we'll be sure to tell our mom how much of a whore you are" destiny's grip significantly tightened before she fully let go and then anita quickly walked off, hearing the laughs of her siblings behind her
"GUYS DONT HATE ME BUT.." ANITA SIGHED AS SHE SAT ON A SEAT IN HER ROOM / HOUSE AND HER FRIENDS SAT ON HER BED A FEW DAYS LATER
"I DONT WANT TO GO TO THE BALL" both of her friends' eyes widened and their mouths opened in shock. It was the night of the ball itself and they could tell Anita was getting more worried about it as the days continued but they didn't think she'd actually want to fully bail
"You have to go. I've been working on our outfits for 3 weeks" alexis said with a frown. She was an amazing designer and everything she wore she had made herself. It was unique and her style so she jumped at the opportunity to make her friends dresses
"I know i know. And I'm so grateful but i don't even fit in here so why go and pretend like I do? Guys don't even know I exist" she bit into a grape and sat back in her chair
"Again. No one will know who anyone is. There's no such thing as not fitting in. And Ryder will get to know you so much better"
"Yeah. We saw you guys during free period, you guys already get along so well" Anita let off a small laugh and threw something at her friends
"You're going to the ball" she glanced down at the watch, her eyes widening as she realised the time.
"I've got to start cleaning!" She got up and quickly rushed out knowing her friends knew their way out. If she wanted to go to the ball she better start now to get done in time
"anita" prism said as she walked into the room seeing anita on the floor scrubbing
"The twins are turning 16 next week" the girl stopped what she was doing and looked up confused. Prism had been given a heads up by her daughters saying that anita was planning to go to the ball, but she wouldn't let that happen
"Didn't they turn 16 last year?"
"Yes and they'll keep turning 16 until I tell them to stop. We're having a big party and I need this house to be spotless" anita dusted her trousers off
"But my friends and I were going to the ball and besides, I've cleaned every room in this house" prism let a menacing smile slip that had anita realising she knew something
"Not... my bedroom"
Prism opened the door to her room with Anita in tow and her eyes watered at the nasty smell. It was a mixture of food, fungus and probably every species of bugs
"I-I" anita was lost for words and at the delay prism took the chance to grab her arm and drag her inside
"I'm clubbing with Paris tonight and it's my turn to host the after party. When I get home at 12:30 this room will be pristine"
"Prism, I think I'll need heavy equipment for a task like this-"
"Don't you sass me smarty pants! I'll revoke your school privaliges. You can say goodbye to those trendy little friends" she laughed before turning around and heading out
"Agh!" Prism cried as she held herself up. She looked down at the ground realising what's he stepped up
"Oh and clean up these fish sticks. They've been there since july" she continued on out and shut the door behind her leaving anita alone so she decided to call her friends
Alexis: "Hello?"
Adam: "Hello?"
"Guys. I can't go to the ball tonight. Prism is making me clean her room"
"You're in her lair?" Adam questioned with his mouth stuffed with food and she could hear alexis' gasp
"There is species of bugs here still unknown to science. There's no way I'll finish in time"
Alexis: "Wait what if i-"
"Who are you talking to?" Prism cut them off as she joined the call on the landline
"When I said no phone privaliges, that included the landline!"
"I'm sorry I have to go" Anita apologised as she placed the phone down, hanging up. And then she got to work
Anita had been going on for about an hour and she had barely put a dent in it, you still couldn't see the floors and she was pretty sure at one point there was a rat in there, but she chose to ignore it in fear it was
The girls had left 10 minutes ago for the ball although the ball didn't start for another hour and a half and Prism had also left for the party she was hosting so it left anita lone
However she became confused when she heard the doorbell
She walked out of the room, taking off her gloves and all and opened the door which revealed to be Adam and Alexis who were holding up 3 outfits
"Hey, I thought you guys were going to the ball... and please tell me they aren't our outfits"
"I can't, because they are. We're going to the ball" they both stepped inside the house
"What part of 'prism is making me clean her bedroom' didn't measure?" they both shrugged and smiled
"What if i told you I could clean up the mess for you and prism would never know"
"I'd say youre my hero, but there's no way and you have to go to the ball. Plus you can't clean up this mess alone"
"We'll who said I was alone" they both turned giving Anita the sight of 3 men with cleaning supplies in front of them
They waved and smiled once they saw them looking and Anita turned back to her friends with almost tears
"You guys did this for me?"
"Anita, meet my sisters boyfriends, cousins. This, is Anita" the main guy walked forward and shook hands with Anita
"Hello. You go to dance? Very nice. House cleaned by 12:30 no problem. Like van say, no mess is too messy" anita nodded with a smile and lead them all up to the next floor
"This mess is too messy!" The man shouted once they opened the door to prism's room
"Lee! You promised! Get started and hide the van, we all need to get ready"
"I'm nervous" anita whispered as her and her two friends stood outside the building that was holding their prom
"Don't be" alexis assured
"I'm gonna find me a nice man, so is Alexis and you're gonna go chase yours" Anita looked up to Adam with a small smile
"Good luck guys" alexis whispered and they all said it back before bringing themselves into a group hug
They pulled away after a second and made their way into the building and immediately all eyes were on them
Alexis and Adam smiled at the attention whislt anita shrunk away from it, it took her a moment to realise she was wearing a mask
"And this is where we split" alexis said and they nodded putting their hands in the middle before walking away
Anita made her way over to the drinks so she could calm down before she had to face Ryder but once she got there, somewhere else was there
"Uh hi" anita looked up from the table at a voice and her eyes widened
"Ryder?" He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion before he realised
"I guess my mask doesn't conceal my identity very well" she nodded with a small smile as she agreed with him
"You and your friends really know to make an enterance. That- that dress is amazing"
"Thank you, I like your shoot- suit" she corrected which made Ryder let off a small laugh. She panicked for a moment
"Do you want some punch?" Ryder let off a small smile and lifted up the one that was in his hand and she scrunched her face up in embarrassment
"Oh god" she's mumbled
"Hey, don't be embarrassed. Here" he put his drink down and looked to her
"Ask me again"
"Uh- do you want some punch?" He nodded slowly
"I would" she let off a small laugh and turned to pour them both some
"Thank you" he replied and she smiled
"Do you want to.." she looked at him confused as the music drowned out his words
"What?"
"Do you want..." he realised she still didn't hear him again so instead he took her hand in his and lead her outside
