The game was so intense from the beginning… I didn’t even remember about Marina or Samuel’s parents even for a second because my focus was totally on the game…

However, right before the first half of the match ended, on the 44th minute, Luke scored a goal!!!
It was indeed a brilliant kick… I think the opposite team’s goalkeeper didn’t even have enough time to figure out how it went into the goal…
Both me and Sally screamed with happiness, hugging each other…

So taking his chance, he kicked the ball… He was pretty far from the goal, and his angle was not that good also…
The ball went in between two opposite team players super fast, and then directly to the net… The opposite team’s goalkeeper couldn’t save it…
We scored another goal!!!
The whole stadium was echoing with cheers for Samuel…
“It is impossible to score such an amazing goal with just football skills and pure luck… You need your analytical skills and quick decision-making power to the maximum to achieve that. Such qualities are rarely seen within university players… Queen’s team captain proved to us that he is already qualified to become a professional player… ” one of the commentators said.

So Samuel had to agree… Someone gave him the trophy… Holding it, he stood beside Marina to pose for the photo.
“Not like that, man… Put your hand around her, get closer…” someone shouted…
Samuel’s eyes traveled to my face… He clearly looked angry… I didn’t want to make him even angrier… So I smiled, though it was so hard at that moment…
I wanted to show him I am okay with it, though I was feeling helpless…
Finally, after everyone started to shout at him, he put his hand around her shoulders and get closer to her.
I know this is nothing big to worry about. Everyone thinks they are engaged. So we have to endure these types of requests…
I just wish I also could go and hug him tightly in front of the whole world… Give him a kiss on his lips when everyone is there to witness it… God! When we will get that kind of a day?
“Samuel, how about a party to celebrate your victory?” Samuel’s dad asked.
“Dad, I want to be with my team tonight… We want to celebrate it together…” Samuel replied quickly.
“Who said you can’t? I asked you how about a party with your team to celebrate this victory. We are not going to come and ruin it, don’t worry… But I am going to sponsor it! ” his dad said…
“What?” Samuel said confusedly.
“Dad is going to sponsor your celebration tonight, honey…” his mom then said, smiling.
Everyone started to cheer again…

“So you all may choose a place and let me know. I will arrange everything else.” Mr. Davis replied.
