The weekend flew by pretty fast. I didn't let Jacob go home the entire weekend so he just stayed at my place, where we spent the entire time getting to know each other, we'll it was mainly me listening and him talking. At first, mom was pretty surprised to see that I found out I had friends, hell she was about to have a heart attack when he came in the house all bruised up and the first person she blamed was me. We mostly spent our time up in my room kissing, but when we weren't I got him to tell me more about his father, like where he works, what times does he usually gets off work and all that jazz. At first, he was hesitant to tell me but with a couple more kisses going down his neck and on his collar bone he soon let up.
What I did notice when Jacob came back to my house for the rest of the weekend was that he was wearing the necklace that I left for him, he wouldn't stop touching it or clinging to it and smiling every time we talked.
Today was Monday which meant we had to go back to school. Jacobs's face had healed up a lot since mom made him ice his face and body a lot and apply healing balm to his cuts and bruises. Since most of his bruising was mostly on his body he was pretty much okay to go back to school, not that I wanted him to though. I ended up lending Jacob a few of my old clothes that I couldn't fit anymore since he wasn't home and couldn't get anything. My sister ended up catching a ride out with mom and claims the reason being is that "she doesn't wanna be around all these boys" I call bat shit. I know she doesn't like me but hell I don't like her either, one less waste of space to worry about.
When we entered the school building everything looked so grey and gloomy, it's almost as if someone died or something. I threw my arm around Jacob's shoulder and walked him to his first-period class. The entire time people were staring at us, some with looks of shock others with looks of disgust. The only one that looked indifferent was Riley, he had a cast over his fingers that was inside I a sling. When he saw me looking at him, daring him to say something he and his little goons looked away and walked to class. Jacob hasn't looked up once from the floor since we entered the school, but I could tell he was kinda embarrassed due to the darkening of his cheeks. Seriously when is he never not blushing?
When we reached his class, which was Astronomy, I took my arms from around his shoulder. He looked up at me with pouty eyes as though he didn't want me to go.
"I don't wanna go to class." His voice was whining, something that I usually found annoying but in his case, I found it oddly cute. Grinning at him I pecked him on the lips.
"Me neither but sadly my dear we have to."
"I mean we could always ditch and go to the park or something." He said while twirling the ends of the hoodie he borrowed from me. I was only shocked, the goody-two-shoes wanted to ditch school?! The world must be ending Or something.
"I would believe me but in order to keep my.... reputation and not draw attention towards myself, I have to keep coming to school."
"What do you mean?" Deciding to just smile at him I have my head.
"Don't worry about it. I'll tell you soon. Now go to class the late bell already rang." Pouting up at me he crossed his arms and stumped inside the classroom but before the door could close I pulled my hand back and smacked him as hard as I could on the butt, he screamed. Hm just as I thought... It jiggles.
When the end of the day came I was so ready to see Jacob again. I mean, of course, we saw each other throughout the day. I would go to his classes mid-lecture and tell him to leave just so we could have short make-out sessions in the halls and I mean yeah when it was time for lunch I made him leave to come out with me to get some real food instead of that trash they feed us here. So when I say I was excited to see him walking out the school building to my car I mean it, but I didn't show it on my face though.
"Are you ready to go?" I asked as I walked to the driver's side of my car.
"Yeah I'm ready, but what about your sister?"
"What about her?" I was honestly confused as to why he cared about her so much, it's really making me mad.
"I mean you are family and all shouldn't you be a bit... I don't know nicer to her?" We sat down in the car and just looked at each other. He was waiting for my response but unfortunately for him, he'll be waiting for a while since I don't plan on answering him. "Fine just forget I even said anything." He pouted once again and crossed his arms.
"Cool. So what are you hungry for? I was going to order pizza again since mom still hasn't learned to cook." I questioned while glancing over at him while driving off of campus and placing my hand on his lap.
"Actually, I'm going home today." His voice was soft and he avoided looking at me.
"And why is that?" My voice was strained and the harsh grip on the steering tightened causing my knuckles to turn s white.
"Well, I have to go home sooner or later Titus... It was only a matter of time.". He looked at me this time when he spoke. Good cause he knows how much I hate when people don't look at me when they speak.
"Why would you want to go back? Is staying with me not good enough? He hurts you." I pressed. My Hand on his lap squeezed so tight and I knew it was hurting him since he hissed and tried to move my hand away but I wouldn't let him.
"You're hurting me, Titus. Please let go." He continued to try to pull my hand off his leg but I wouldn't budge, sometimes he really made me want to hurt him but for some reason I never did. With a heavy sigh, I look at his tear-stained face and let go.
"You know I would never hurt you right?" I mean I wouldn't hurt him badly he's still precious cargo. He nodded in my direction and spoke.
"I know but sometimes I get scared I like you a lot and I don't want you to treat me bad or not care about me anymore." Wiping the tears away from his eyes. We reached the red light by his house even though I didn't want to make that turn down his street I knew I was going to.
"Jacob. I care. Just know I'll always care." He nodded back at me with a watering smile.
Pulling up to his house his father's truck wasn't in the yard which was good for him but bad for me since I wanted him gone already. Before he got out of the car I grabbed his arm and he looked confused.
"Kiss." Leaning back in the car he smiles and kisses me, but before he pulled away I put my hand on the back of the head and held him close. My tongue pressed its way into his closed lips, he moaned at the contact of our tongues and that turned me on even more. The kiss lasted for a couple more seconds until I let him go to breathe. He was panting and his lips were glossed and eyes we're closed.
"Wow." He breathed.
"Yeah wow. Now go inside and if anything happens and I mean anything you call me. Understood."
"Yes, I understand." With one last kiss, I let him go and he walked towards his doorstep. When he got to the door he turned around, smiled and waved and of course, I waved back. After that he entered his house and I drove back to mine.
Cute.
