Taehyung was lazily lying on his bed, eating some snacks while scrolling through his phone and some random music playing from the speaker. It's already been 5 days since the day he sprained his ankle and he had been enjoying his daily life being taken care by Jungkook all these days. In the name of his sprained ankle, he let Jungkook do all the works including the household courses while all he did was just lying on the bed, eating, playing some games and that's all.
"Taehyung, I got some work in the company and I have to go now. So don't move around carelessly. There won't be anyone to help you if you fall down."
Jungkook peeped through the door.
"Now?"
Taehyung looked out at the window.
"But it's getting dark."
"I know. But I have to go. I've been taking half day leaves for so many days because of you. Of course I must have so many works to do. Just pray for me to come back early so that you won't starve here alone."
Taehyung rolled his eyes as Jungkook closed the door after he left. But it was still true that he might starve if Jungkook doesn't come back early to cook for him.
Just after he made sure Jungkook has already left the house, he jumped down from the bed and ran around his room freely. Because of course it was tiring to lie on the bed all the time when his ankle was already fine. But he just acted like he couldn't even stand with his feet in front of Jungkook just to let the other do every work for him.
To be honest, this was not the life he wanted to live, like... being taken care of him by someone, someone else doing his works and him lying around doing nothing productive. He never wanted to live depending on others because that was what he did all his life and that was the reason he chose to marry Jungkook just to get rid of them and live independently without anyone's help. But why he enjoyed when Jungkook help him? Why he liked watching Jungkook do every work for him? Why he felt happy when Jungkook come back early from his work just to take care of him? But he never thought about the answers of these questions or did he just ignored to answer them? But whenever Jungkook was around, he felt annoyed with no reason, maybe because Jungkook always tease him or irritate him by saying something... or does he feel annoyed because Jungkook always say something opposite to what he expected him to say? But even if he felt annoyed or irritated, he would never admit the calmness he felt whenever Jungkook was around and will never accept that some part of his heart still want Jungkook to take care of him.
Taehyung turned the volume of his speaker and jumped around in his room trying to stretch his stiffened body happily until his door open again. And guess who was standing by the door?
Taehyung stopped all his actions and stood there like a statue with his mouth and eyes wide open just when he saw Jungkook by the door while the other just stood by the door staring at him up and down without saying anything.
Taehyung suddenly held his ankle and started to act like it was painful.
"Ah... aahh... ouch... it hurts... oh my god... it's so--"
"I saw it already. Your acting is still worst. I told you to improve your acting skill."
Jungkook cut him off as crossed his arms.
"And yeah... It's the wrong foot."
Taehyung looked down to see the foot he was holding and obviously he was holding the wrong one. He felt like he was just caught red handed for stealing something from someone's house.
"Why... why did you come back again?"
He even stuttered because why not when the glare from Jungkook was piercing through him.
"I came back because I left my phone but never thought I would attend a dance show here."
Jungkook said as he rest his back on the door, still crossing his arms.
Taehyung just stood there, lost of words. He flinched when Jungkook took his steps closer to him.
"Now tell me since when you're able to walk properly?"
Taehyung took a step back.
"Y-yesterday."
"Yesterday?"
Jungkook raised his eyebrows.
"And when were you planning to tell me that you're fine?"
"T-that's... that...uhh..."
Taehyung couldn't even find any excuses.
"You were fine from yesterday and didn't even care to tell me? I even took leaves everyday and sacrificed my works just to look after you thinking you won't be able to do anything and what do you think you're doing when I'm not around?"
Jungkook took his steps more closer to Taehyung who took his steps back until he flinched when his back touch the wall.
"Do you know how worried I was?"
Taehyung quickly looked up and stared at Jungkook when the other said he was worried for him. He never expected that sentence from Jungkook.
"I thought you were still in pain since you couldn't walk even after the treatment... Can't you tell me you can walk already? Am I really a stranger to you that you don't even care to at least tell me you're fine?"
Taehyung could see the pain in Jungkook's eyes and his heart felt it but his mind would never accept it.
"Didn't we agreed to mind our own business? Why do you care about me so much?"
That was not what he wanted to say but he said it.
Jungkook just stared at Taehyung for some time and then took a step back with a nod.
"Yeah. That's right. We should mind our own business."
Taehyung just stood there watching Jungkook walked out of the room and slammed the door behind. He was sure Jungkook already left the house since he could hear the sound of his car. He looked around his room, the music was still playing, everything in his room was still the same but the room felt so empty and the music playing wasn't pleasing anymore. He slowly sat down on the edge of his bed and took a deep breath closing his eyes. His mind felt so confused with some new unfamiliar feelings. Was it guilt? Or sad? But why? Why would he even feel something like that for?
Taehyung turned up the volume of his speaker and tried to indulge himself into the music but he couldn't. He tried playing some games but he ended up getting frustrated for no reason. And sometimes he found himself looking at the gate from the window as if he was waiting for someone. But for whom was he waiting? As for him, he doesn't want to see Jungkook. Right?
It was already 1 in the midnight and Jungkook still didn't come back. But why do he care whether the other came back or not? He was starving from hunger but he still didn't even have any appetite to eat anything either. He checked the time again and again as he sat on the couch in the living room. He didn't even understand himself why he came out from his room just to sit there in the living room and yawn but he did. Never new he would end up falling asleep on the couch instead.

"What happened? You look so down. Are you sleepy? Tired? Or... did you fight with your so called wife?"
Hoseok said as he give a cup of coffee to Jungkook who glared at him at the word wife.
He knows exactly the elder is using the word 'wife' specifically to tease him when he already know the one he married is a male.
"What? You're my boss only during work, ok? Work is already over for today, so I'm your brother now since I'm elder. Isn't it rude to glare at your brother?"
Hoseok said as he sat next to Jungkook while sipping his coffee.
"So... what's the matter? You've been distracted since you came here."
Jungkook just sighed as he took another sip.
"It's nothing Hyung. He was just being childish like always. At least he could've tell me he was fine right? I was worried about him but he just...."
Jungkook sighed and put the cup on the table before him.
"So... I think I was right. It surely is a matter about your wife."
Hoseok said as he put his empty cup on the table as well ignoring Jungkook rolling his eyes.
"So... will you tell me what happen between you two today. You've been taking half day leaves these days too. Everybody already started to get doubt if you're dating someone."
"What? I took leaves for only some days and they already start talking behind my back? Report every single one of them. I'm gonna fire them all."
"Woah... Calm down young man. Well... let me tell you a fact. The internet might blow up if you even show your face. You're lucky that nobody knows how you look since you never reveal your face to the internet and public. Only the employees here knows it. If you fire them, they might leak your identity to public which is full of people who are waiting for any information about the unrevealed CEO of a popular and growing company like yours. Think about yourself too because it might affect your personal life. You won't get to roam freely like you're doing today. And nobody here knows you're married so of course they'll think you might be dating since you take more leaves than usual."
"But it's still not good to create rumors about what is not real. I'm not dating anyone."
"Yeah. You're not dating anyone. You're just married and have a wife in your house."
"Hyung..!!"
Hoseok laughed at Jungkook. He loves to tease the younger. Jungkook, even if he's a strict and fierce boss for everyone else, he's still a kid in Hoseok's eyes.
"So... when are you going back? It's already late. He'll be alone there."
Hoseok patted the younger's shoulder.
"He might probably fall asleep by now. It looks like he don't even want to say anything to me since we agreed to mind our own business. It might be better for him if I'm not back. After all, We're just strangers anyway."
Jungkook said while looking at the while tiles of the floor as Hoseok just looked at him with a knowing smile.
"But you still need to go back anyway so that I can also go back and have a good sleep since tomorrow is weekend. Or... are you planning to stay here in your office room? It's too late now. The wash man might be dozing right now while waiting for us to come out. Poor him. He can't even talk back to his boss. I know this building is yours and you can do whatever you want but at least think about others too, ok? Get up. Let's go. Only we two left in this building. It's so quiet that it looks like some ghost will jump out from the corner."
Hoseok said as he walked before Jungkook.
"You don't have any idea? I purposefully keep you till now because I called some ghost to meet you. They might be hiding in the lifts to give you a lovely surprise."
Jungkook said as Hoseok turned back.
"What? Don't try to tease me with that kind of lame pranks ok?"
Hoseok was now walking beside Jungkook.
"So... Let's take the stairs today."
"Why stairs? Let's take the lift. It's late anyway. We can meet them quickly and go."
Jungkook said with a serious tone while Hoseok felt as if his soul was about to leave him.
"Jungkook. I'm telling you. Let's take the stairs. You know, it's so boring inside the lift... and... it's been so long since I took stairs... so I just feel like going from ther---"
"Fine. If you like then take the stairs. I'll take the lift. By the way, I told some zombies to take the stairs to go out just in case if they couldn't meet us."
"Jeon Jungkook..!! May the zombies eat you instead..!!"

Jungkook walked towards the door after he parked his car.
He let out a deep sigh as he typed the house code and entered inside. But he didn't expected to see Taehyung sleeping soundly with a pout while curling up on the couch.
Jungkook slowly crouched down in front of Taehyung and stared at him. Taehyung was wearing a half sleeved Tshirt and was curling himself like a ball from cold. His fluffy permed long black hair covered his forehead messily which was making him look even more cute along with the little pout.
Jungkook didn't know why he did that but he brought his hand up and booped Taehyung's nose softly with his finger making the other wriggled a bit at the touch.
"What are you still doing here huh? Idiot."
But no one will ever be there to prove that Jungkook did smiled while staring at Taehyung, no one except for the voiceless walls... not even Jungkook himself...
