                    "When are they coming?"
Taehyung asked just after he got inside the car.
Jungkook was already waiting for him in front of the mall when he came out.
"I don't know but we don't have much time. She just said they'll come by evening."
Jungkook started the car.
They reached home in no time since Jungkook was speeding up his car. They hurried inside and both started running here and there in panic.
"Wait. We need to move our stuffs to one room first. What if your mom want to see our room?"
Jungkook said after taking a deep breath.
"Oh yes."
Taehyung was about to go to his room but stopped and turned back.
"But which room?"
"Your room."
"My room? No. You can't. It's mine."
Taehyung crossed his arms.
"Taehyung, it's not the right time to be stubborn. Let's--"
"I'm not. But you can't come to my room."
"But why? Are you hiding diamond there? I'm not going to steal anything from your room."
"I'm not."
"Taehyung. Our time is running out."
"Why is it only my room? What about yours? Are you hiding gems there? I'm not going to steal anything from your room either."
"I'm not."
"Then why would you say only my room? Let's move to your room."
"NO !"
Jungkook yelled all of a sudden making Taehyung flinch.
It's not like he didn't want the other to come to his room but he had to, since his room is filled with papers and files of his company, his personal informations and many more which Taehyung shouldn't see. He of course keep them securely but it would be risky if Taehyung come to his room and happen to see them.
But for now that Taehyung was already giving him a suspicious look, he had to come up with some excuses.
"Ah... I mean... Your parents gave this house so of course they already know which room is ours and that is your room now. Remember your mother decorated that room when we came here for the first time? Wouldn't it be weird if we changed our room for no apparent reason?"
His excuse seemed to be working by seeing how Taehyung was biting his nails while staring at the floor.
"Ok. Fine. Go and take your things."
It worked. Jungkook grinned and turned away to go to his room.
"Want some help?"
Taehyung asked hesitantly.
Jungkook paused his feet and turned back.
"No. I'm all good. There's not much things anyway."
He can't let Taehyung come to his room.
Taehyung went to his room to spaced a side of his closet for Jungkook. They quickly set everything perfect with the room to look like a room for two people.
"Why do I feel like something is still missing?"
Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows as he stood in the middle of the room.
"What's missing?"
Taehyung asked, looking around the room.
"Not here. But..."
Jungkook bit his lower lip while thinking but gasped suddenly.
"The picture. Our wedding picture. We have to hang that picture on the wall... in living room."
Taehyung gasped. How can they forget the most important thing? Their living room is the place where his parents would sit just after they enter the house.
Jungkook rushed to the living room while Taehyung went to take the big wooden photo frame with their wedding picture.
"Where are we going to hang this? This is so big and heavy."
Taehyung looked around the room.
"There."
Jungkook grabbed the photo frame and climbed up above the big couch.
"Hey ! There's already another frame hanging there."
Jungkook ignored Taehyung and took out the other frame on the wall behind the couch, carefully replacing it with their wedding picture.
"How is it now?"
He turned his head back and winked while Taehyung gave him a thumbs up while standing behind him.
Jungkook smirked proudly and was about to get down from the couch but...
"Of course it's perfect because I--- Woarrhh...!!"
He slipped his feet on the cushion of the couch and fell over Taehyung who was standing behind him.
Taehyung was too shock to move away when Jungkook fell over him and now at the next moment, they were literally on the floor with Jungkook hovering over Taehyung who was lying on the floor with his back and eyes shut closed.
Taehyung slowly opened his eyes but found his face super close with Jungkook who was trying to get up with his palms on the floor in both sides of his head so he looked away.
Jungkook got up and lent his hand out.
"Here. Get up."
"I can get up on my own."
Taehyung was about to get up on his own but Jungkook was still lending his hand to him.
He hesitantly took Jungkook's hand, letting the other pull him up from the cold floor but he had another plan, he'll pull Jungkook back and make him fall on the floor and he'll laugh at him. But he completely forgot about the fact that Jungkook is much more stronger than him and now, he did pulled the other but it didn't turn out as what he expected. Jungkook didn't even move but instead his arms were around Taehyung's waist, holding him back from falling when Taehyung was about to pull the other and he was literally in Jungkook's arms.
Seriously? Why everything never goes his way? That's embarrassing.
But guess what's more worst embarrassment than this?
"Taehyung ! Jungk---"
Taehyung's parents just came in time, already inside the house since they forgot to lock their door in hurry, looking at them being in each other's arms.
"Ow... Did we come in wrong time?"
Taehyung and Jungkook let go of each other as quickly as they could and awkwardly stood a meter far from each other when Mrs. Kim said with a wink.
"N-no. Not at all."
Taehyung faked a smile as he welcome his parents.
"It's ok. I understand. Same thing happened to me and your dad when we were new couple. My face turned red in front of your grandmother when she came while we were about to kiss."
Mrs. Kim said as she sat down on the couch while Mr. Kim just smiled at her.
"Mom. It's not like what you're thinking. We were just--"
"Ok. Understood. We just came in since the door was open and we wanted to surprise you. We'll knock the door before we enter next time."
"Mom please."
Taehyung whined at his mother who was laughing at him.
"Stop teasing him honey. His face is like a tomato now."
Mr. Kim said and laughed along with his wife ignoring their son's whines.
"Oh Jungkook. Why are you standing there? Come and sit here."
Mr. Kim called Jungkook who was standing by the side, watching them having their lovely moment.
"Do you still think we're strangers? We're a whole family ok? Don't hesitate."
He patted Jungkook's back when the younger sat down next to him.
"No Dad. I was just watching you all having your moment."
Jungkook smiled.
"Jungkook. Our moment include yours too. You're also a part of our family now."
Mrs. Kim said with a smile.
Taehyung sat quietly, watching how his parents were talking to Jungkook. A part of him felt guilty for lying to them, another part of him felt scared to think of how his parents will react if they come to know about the truth.
"Ok. Leave all these. Now tell us how was your trip. Was it fun? Did you both enjoy?"
Mrs. Kim's eyes sparkled as she look at both of them.
"It was fun Mom. We enjoyed so much. We even got some gifts for you. We were thinking of coming in weekends but I think it's better to give you now since you're already here. But we'll surely come this weeke--"
"No need. Your Dad is going to Beijing for a business trip today for two days. That's why we came here to see you before he go to airport."
Mrs. Kim cut Jungkook off who nodded at her words.
"Dad. You're going to Beijing today When is your flight?"
Taehyung asked.
"Reporting time ends two hours from now. So yeah, I'll be going before that."
"Let me drive you to the airport Dad."
Jungkook smiled as Mr. Kim agreed.
"Then I'll drive Mom back."
Taehyung grinned but...
"I'm not going back. I'm staying here for two days until your father returns."
Mrs. Kim said with a smile leaving the two with mouth wide open in shock.
"What? Mom, you're staying here? For two days?"
Taehyung hoped he heard her wrong but his hope torn hen his mother nodded her head happily.
"It'll be boring being alone in that big house. So why not stay here with my son and son-in-law?"
No. This is wrong. This shouldn't be happening. If she stay in their house for two days, they'll have to be more careful and act like real couple for two days straight or else they'll be caught.
"Mom. If you're bored alone, I can come and stay with you instead. Why here?"
Taehyung tried. At least he tried.
"Taehyung, you're married now. You should stay with your husband. If you stay with me, he's going to be lonely here without you. It's not like he can stay with us in our home because it's quite far from his work place and it'll be hard for him. So isn't it better if I stay here instead? Don't worry about me, I'll just sleep in the guest room. I'm not going to disturb you both."
Mrs. Kim winked at Taehyung who was having a mental crisis. He could just nod and fake a smile at his mother.
"Uh.. I'll go and get your gifts."
Jungkook said and escaped from them while Taehyung followed his eyes on him, pleading him to help him escape too but the other just ignored and went away sticking his tongue out at him.
"He's already yours Taehyung. He just went to get our gifts, he won't go away."
"Huh?"
Taehyung could only pray for a miracle to happen to stop his mother from getting her imagination more higher.
After Jungkook got the gifts from their room, they talked about random stuffs for few minutes, had dinner together and it was already time for Mr. Kim to leave for airport.
The house was left with only Taehyung and his mother since Jungkook went to airport with Mr. Kim.
Taehyung followed his mother going to his room by herself saying she want to see his room. Thank God they kept everything ready before. And he should really thank Jungkook too, for reminding him that his mother know where their room is. Or else he might have to tell her another lie to excuse himself.
"Woahh... You really learned how to keep your room tidy by yourself now huh? Or... is that you or Jungkook cleaning the room?"
Mrs. Kim asked while looking around the room.
Taehyung cleared his throat.
"Yeah of course I learned. We... we do the cleanings together. You know... helping each other."
He faked a smile.
"Aww... You two are just so sweet. I'm so happy that--"
Mrs. Kim suddenly stopped speaking when her eyes fell on her son's empty ring finger.
"Where is your ring?"
"Huh? Ring?"
Taehyung looked at where his mother was looking and wow, he forgot the most important thing. He forgot to put on his wedding ring. He remember keeping it in his drawer when he removed it from his finger while his ankle was hurt and never wore them since after then.
"Uh... Mom. I kept it here. See?"
He quickly opened his drawer and took out the ring.
"Then why aren't you wearing it? You should never take out your wedding ring dear. Do you how important a wedding ring is?"
Taehyung sighed at his mother's word. Of course he know it. He know how important a wedding ring is. But what's the meaning of wearing it when his marriage was just a deal between him and Jungkook? They don't even love each other. But he can't say it to his mother at the moment so his only way is to lie again, for an excuse.
"I know Mom. I only took it off this morning while taking a bath. It's kinda big for me so I took it off since it slipped away from my finger last time while taking bath. I always wear it everyday after a bath but forgot since I was in a hurry today."
Taehyung breathed out when his mother nodded.
Wow Taehyung, you can get a master degree in lying at this rate.
"It's fine then. But did you lose weight? It used to fit perfectly with your finger. You even went to buy it yourself."
"No. I didn't. I'm all good."
"But you should eat more. I saw you didn't eat properly today too."
"That's because... I was overexcited to have dinner together with you both again."
Taehyung smiled but in reality, he lost his appetite because he was scared if he'll get caught if his mother stay with them.
"Aww... Did our baby bear miss us that much?"
Mrs. Kim smiled as she hugged her son tightly.
Jungkook was watching the two hugging each other. He was already back but didn't want to disturb them so he just stood behind the partly opened door and happened to listen to their conversations.
"Taehyung. Mom."
He finally opened the door and the two let go of each other.
"Oh You're back Jungkook?"
Mrs. Kim smiled at him.
"Yes Mom. Dad just called me and said his flight is boarding in 5 mins."
"It's fine then. Thank you Jungkook."
Mrs. Kim grinned and noticed her son looking at Jungkook.
"Where am I going to sleep? I'm quite tired today. Let me get some sleep."
"Mom. There's a guest room in the ground floor. Let me take you there."
Taehyung was about to go but,
"Taehyung. It's fine. I know where it is. I'll go by myself. You can now stare at your husband as much as you want. I won't disturb you anymore."
She winked as she walked away from the room.
"Were you staring at me?"
Jungkook turned to Taehyung who scoffed at him.
"Yeah. Because I saw you standing by the door. Why were you hiding there?"
Taehyung crossed his arms.
"What? Hiding? I wasn't hiding."
"Then were you eavesdropping?"
"No way. I wasn't. I only happen to overheard you while standing there."
"Is that so? How much did you hear then?"
Taehyung took a step closer to Jungkook with his stern eyes.
"Did you say any secrets?"
"No?"
"I swear I heard from something like losing weights. Wait. Did you lose weight?"
"No way. It was just an excuse for not wearing the wedding ring. I forgot to wear that."
"How could you forget that?"
Jungkook face palmed himself.
"Thank God that you found a good excuse. Where's your ring?"
"Here."
Taehyung showed him the ring.
"Wear it."
"Now?"
"Yeah. When will you wear then? After your mom go back?"
Taehyung rolled his eyes as he tried to wear the ring but it became more tight than before.
"Jungkook, I can't put it in."
Taehyung dropped his shoulders.
"Want me to help you?"
Jungkook took the ring and tried to put it in after Taehyung nodded and gave him the ring.
"Ouch. Jungkook. It hurts. Do it slowly."
Taehyung hitched in pain.
"Ok. Ok. Sorry. Just a bit more ok? Relax."
Jungkook slowly put it in and Taehyung breathed out in relief.
"Did I gained some weight? It did fit perfectly before. How come it's so tight now?"
Taehyung spun around in front of the big mirror, looking at his own body.
"But I think you need to gain more than that. You still look so thin."
Jungkook said as he sat on the edge of the bed.
"I look thin? Do I?"
Taehyung kept looking at the reflection of himself.
"You do."
Jungkook said as he got up and stand behind Taehyung.
"See?"
Taehyung stood there in lost of words when he realized how he looked quite smaller beside Jungkook. He thought there wasn't that much of difference between them but he never thought the other would be that built.
He cleared his throat and took a step away from Jungkook.
"I'm gonna sleep."
He said before he quickly jumped on the bed.
"Ok. Good night."
Jungkook said as he took his pillow from the bed and lied down on the window seat beside the bed.
Taehyung opened his eyes and turned his head when he sensed the other side of his bed empty just to find Jungkook curling up on the window seat without a blanket.
Was he expecting something? That Jungkook would get on his bed? Did he just get pissed off when Jungkook didn't?
"What are you doing here?"
Jungkook opened his eyes when he heard something only to find Taehyung standing beside him.
"I'm gonna sleep here. What if we get caught for sleeping in different room tomorrow morning?"
Jungkook said as he turned away closing his eyes.
"I mean why are you sleeping here?"
Taehyung asked again making Jungkook to turn his head again.
"I can't sleep here too? Then where should I sleep? On the floor?"
Jungkook said as he got up and sit.
"Who said you should sleep on the floor?"
"Then where?"
"There. On the bed."
Silence in the room for a few seconds until Jungkook broke it.
"On the bed?"
"Yeah?"
"That bed?
Jungkook pointed at Taehyung's bed.
"Yeah."
"But that's yours."
"So what?"
"So what? You said so what?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"So... you want me to sleep on your bed?"
"You have problem?"
"No actually. But are you sure you want me to sleep there?"
"Do you want me to change my mind?"
Taehyung crossed his arms.
"No. Of course not. Here I come."
Jungkook quickly got on the bed and kept staring at Taehyung who followed him and lied down on the other side of the bed. He still couldn't believe Taehyung really asked him to sleep on his bed.
"What? Just sleep."
Taehyung said when he noticed Jungkook staring at him.
"What's gotten into you today?"
Jungkook asked with his eyes still on Taehyung.
"What do you mean?"
"No. I mean... You always chase me out of your room and never let me touch your bed. But today--"
"Have you heard of the word sympathy? I felt pity for you sleeping on the small couch without a blanket, nothing else. And... it's not like we haven't sleep in one bed before anyway."
Taehyung said with his stern eyes and turned away.
"The bed is big enough to give space between us. So don't get closer from where you're now. Got it?"
He warned with his eyes closed.
"I got it. But I doubt you would come closer to me and sleep with your head on my arms. I clearly remember my arms got numb in the morning."
Jungkook chuckled when the other huffed and covered himself with the blanket. Taehyung's back looked so tiny and cute with his fluffy black hair peaking out from the blanket that he wanted to squeeze him in his arms. But he can't. Just not yet.
"Good night."
He smiled as he switch off the lamp beside the bed and drifted into his sleep.
But he never got to see the smile on Taehyung's lips that curled up just after he covered himself with the blanket.

Taehyung asked just after he got inside the car.

"No way.
