"He's mine."
Jimin dropped his jaw.
Yoonji blinked her eyes.
Jungkook in the middle of 'face burning at how Taehyung hooked his arms around his' and 'heart dropping from how Taehyung confidently claimed him as his'.
Taehyung tightened his grip around Jungkook's arms, not planning to let people take what's his.
"What do you mean?"
Taehyung sighed at Yoonji's question, ready to give her the explanation she needed, but only she knew she asked it after already knowing the truth of what he actually wanted to mean.
"Well. I think we need a talk."
Taehyung loosen his arm around the other's, shifting his eyes to the owner of the arm.
"Jungkook, I--"
"I understand. Go and talk to her."
Taehyung smiled, sometimes he felt lucky that Jungkook can be so understanding.
And thus, he's now sitting by the corner of a cafe nearby with Yoonji sipping her coffee across the table, waiting for him to start speaking.
"Ok. So... first of all, I'm sorry for not telling you the truth."
He begins.
"Actually, Jungkook and I are... married."
He looked at Yoonji while fidgeting his finger, expecting for a surprised eyes or a loud scream, or an angry shout.
But she was still in her normal expression, still sipping her coffee calmly.
"I know."
She said after keeping her cup back on the table.
"What? You knew? How? Did Jimin tell you?"
He swear he's going to cut Jimin's tongue if he's the one who told her.
"No. Jimin didn't-- wait. So that means Jimin also knew the truth?"
"Yeah he knew. It was all his idea anyway."
"His idea? So you mean he made you do this? And it's only me who doesn't know about this?"
"Wait. I'll tell you everything. But please tell me how you know it."
"Jungkook. He told me."
Yoonji finally answered after a sigh.
"What?"
Taehyung widen his eyes. He didn't expect it would be Jungkook.
"Jungkook? How, I mean... when?
"That day when you set us up for a date."
Yoonji rest her back on the chair and sighed when she saw Taehyung opening his mouth and eyes wide, so she continued.
"Well, yeah. I was gonna confess to him but he cut me off before I could finish my sentence and said he's married and literally rejected me right away."
What? Jungkook said like that?
Taehyung stared down at his own fidgeting fingers, a part of his heart doing a thing when he realized Jungkook already took their marriage seriously, taking himself as a married person eventhough they hadn't confessed their feelings to each other at that time, eventhough they're still in their three months marriage deal, while a part of him felt so guilty and sorry to both Yoonji and Jungkook for what he did.
"I'm sorry for not telling you about this. But I couldn't tell you because of some reasons."
"Yeah I know there's some reasons. Jungkook told me not to get mad at you for not telling me about your marriage because you have your reasons but he didn't tell me about those reasons. He said it's not his place to tell it to me. He asked me to wait till you're willing to tell me yourself, so I was waiting."
Taehyung bit his lower lip without saying anything, because right at the moment, he just didn't know why but had the urge to run back to Jungkook and hold him in his arms as tightly as he could.
"Umm... since we got married for only three months because of a deal--"
He started but that's when Yoonji sat up straight wearing a shocked expression.
"Wait, WHAT? What deal?"
What's with the reaction? Jungkook already told her they are married. Didn't Jungkook tell her about their deal?
"Yeah? Deal. We had a deal and married for three months. He didn't tell you that?"
"No way? Wait. Taehyungie. Just... just tell me everything from the beginning."
"Well..."
Taehyung breathed in deeply as he continued.
"My parents arranged a marriage for me. But I asked Jungkook to act as my fake boyfriend only for a day on the first day we met so my parents won't let me marry. I thought everything will be in place if my marriage is cancelled, but things got twisted and they made us marry each other for real. And we made a deal that our marriage will be only for three months and we'll divorce so we can go on our own way after our deal is over and that's why I didn't tell you about the marriage. I thought we won't have anything to do with each other so I thought there's no need to say anything about him or about us to you. I thought we'll be strangers again. That's why I set you up with him. I thought he would be happy to be with someone who likes him and will make him happy, I took so much help from him anyway. But I--"
"But you realize you like him after you set him up with me. Is that so?"
Yoonji crossed her arms as she conclude but shook her head with a sigh when Taehyung nodded with a pout.
"Taehyungie. You should've at least thought of what he wants first before you did it by yourself, or at least could've ask him if he agrees to what you were going to do. If he already likes you and you did that to him, don't you think he'll be hurt?"
Taehyung stared at his fingers busy fidgeting, remembering how Jungkook was so calm that day, he didn't even get mad at him for what he did, he was so gentle on him when he came back even after knowing everything.
He breathed in deeply when Yoonji held his hand with a smile.
"It's fine Taehyungie. That's all in the past already. Don't think too much. Think about now. But does he know you like him now?"
"Y-yeah. He knows it. We both... like... confessed and... now we're all good."
Taehyung said with a slight red shade over his cheeks.
"Really? That's great then."
Yoonji smiled when she noticed how Taehyung got shy.
"I can't believe my Taehyungie has finally fallen for someone."
She laughed as Taehyung glared at her with his blushing cheeks.
"I'm just kidding. I'm glad you found him. He seem to love you so dearly Taehyungie."
Love. Is this really what people call love? The thing he was so scared of?
If just looking at him makes him smile, if just talking to him makes him that happy,
if just being near him makes his heart skip beats,
if just feeling his warmth gives him comfort,
if just being wrapped around his arm makes him feel so safe,
if just feeling his lips on his own let the butterflies tingles his heart,
if all these are called loving him,
then why was he so scared to love someone?
What was he so scared of?
Because everything about loving him was beautiful and warm.
Then, does it now means he love Jungkook?
He stood up suddenly and bid Yoonji his goodbye after thanking her, and ran out of the cafe, with Yoonji looking at him in confusion.
But he ran, taking out his phone from his pocket and scrolled through his contact list until his eyes fell on the name he once felt so annoyed.
Funny how the same name made him smile now when the voice he longed to hear answer his call.
"Where are you now?"
He asked, without knowing why his heart was beating so fast when the voice entered his ear.
"Ok. I'm not that far. Wait for me. I'll be there."
He smiled, shoving his phone inside his pocket as he quickened his steps in a hasty pace, his heart beating faster with his every steps until his eyes got fixed at the male standing in front of the car, one hand inside his pocket while the other holding the phone.
His heart did the familiar flips when their eyes met, feeling so satisfied to see the male in front of him smiling at him as the distance between them decreased.
He sure heard the other saying something when he reached his hands out but didn't wait for him to finish his word, arms hooked around the neck and leaning until he feel the soft lips on his, while the other's arms instantly wrapped around his waist as if they belong there.
"What was that for?"
Jungkook asked with a chuckle when he pull away his head back, but he just smiled staring at him.
Yeah. He felt happy. He felt warm to be in the other's arms. He felt the butterflies flipping inside his chest.
The way Jungkook's eyes stared at him with so much adoration, the way he smiled at him so sweetly, he felt everything around him so beautiful and so warm.
If being loved by someone is how Jungkook treats him, then he can't get enough of it.
If being in love with someone is what Jungkook make him feels everytime, then he would prefer to be in love with him.
He wanted to thank him for loving him.
He wanted to thank him for everything he did for him.
He wanted to say so many things.
But he landed a soft peck on his lips instead.
"Nothing. I just felt like it. Why? I can kiss you anytime I want. You're mine anyway."
And he heard the sweetest chuckle from the male who booped him on his nose.
"Taehyung, do you know we're literally in the middle of the road?"
Jungkook whispered and that's when they realized where they were but fortunately, there were only a few people and nobody did really pay attention to them.
"But your hands are still here."
Taehyung chuckled pointing at the other's arms around his waist.
"So what? You're also mine anyway."
Jungkook chuckled as he tightened his grip, snuggling his nose in Taehyung's neck who giggled at the touch.
"Taehyung."
He paused for a moment waiting for the other to answer him.
"Hmm?"
He smiled when Taehyung hummed.
"Let's go home yeah?"
"Yeah. But your work?"
"It'll be fine. Let's just go home."
"You'll get fired one day for sure."
"I won't."
"At least ask for a proper leave."
"I'll do it later."
"Fine."
Taehyung shrugged then, Taehyung realized something.
"Oh wait. Where's Jimin?"
"He left after getting a call. He said it's something urgent."
"Ok. Then I'll drive the car."
"No. I'll drive."
"I'll drive."
"Taehyung, let me--"
"I told you to call me hyung."
"What? You were fine with me calling your name just now."
"Call me hyung or I'll drive the car. Choice is yours."
"Wait, what even--"
"Ok then. I'll just ask Sunghoon if we can hang out togethe---"
"Hyung! I'll drive."
He really did it.
"Aww, you're such a good boy."
Taehyung let out a satisfied giggle, squeezing the other's cheeks as they get inside the car.
"You want to drive the car that much? That you even chose to call me hyung?"
He said while fastening his seat belt before Jungkook start driving the car.
"Don't even say that kid's name again."
"What? Who? Sunghoonie?"
"Don't say it in front of me."
"But why? He's such a cute little bo--"
"I'm cute too."
"What?"
"Am I not cute to you?"
"Y-yeah of course you are."
"That's all cool. Thank you. You should have your eyes only on me. I don't like sharing things with people."
"What? Am I a thing to you?"
"No. That's not what I mean. I mean... your eyes. Just... don't look at others with your eyes like how you look at me. Those eyes should be only mine."
"Ok but how can you say such cheesy lines just like that? It's cringey you know."
"I'm trying to be romantic here."
"Romantic? But are you sure you didn't learn those lines from internet this time?"
"Why would I learn from internet?"
"You did it last time."
"When? I don't remember."
"Don't lie. I clearly remember it."
"I didn't. But it's true that I don't like sharing what's mine."
"So you won't even let me wear your shirt?"
"Wait, what? My shirt?"
Jungkook shifted his eyes from the road to the male pouting beside him.
"Y-you... you want to wear my shirt?"
"Don't couples usually do that? It's fine if you don't like."
Taehyung crossed his arms while Jungkook stared blankly at the road.
"Y-yeah. I mean... you can. Of course."
"Huh?"
"You can wear my clothes. Whatever you like."
Taehyung smiled looking at Jungkook's cheeks turning red, which he wanted to land his lips on.
"Jungkook."
He called while the other hummed, turning his head towards him.
"You don't really need to worry, you know. My eyes are always on you."
Jungkook clenched his grip on the steering wheel, his heart speeding up it's beats, eyes couldn't take off from Taehyung's lips wearing a bright smile, lips itching to feel them on his, beaming a satisfied smile when realized those eyes, at this moment, were only on him.
"You're now the one to say cheesy lines. Stop distracting me. I'm driving."
He finally looked away, unwillingly, shifting his eyes on the road, trying to focus on his driving but ended up stealing short glances at the smiling lips beside him from time to time until he finally park the car in front of their house.
Jungkook got down from the car and stood behind Taehyung who was busy pressing their door passcode, sliding his arms around the other's waist from back while burying his face in his neck, landing soft butterfly kisses there.
"Jungkook. Don't. It tickles."
Taehyung giggles, nudging the younger with his elbow but the other just chuckled, still doing what he was doing even after the door was unlocked and they walked inside their house with Jungkook back hugging him.
The house filled with their giggles and laughter as they tickle each other like kids until they finally realize they had to go to separate rooms.
"I'll go to my room and get changed first."
Taehyung's smile faded when Jungkook let go of him after a short peck on his cheek. But he didn't like how he can't feel the other's warmth anymore, so he chose to run after him, just to hug Jungkook again before he open his room door.
"Don't you think we should start living together in one room now? I don't like you going to this room."
He heard Jungkook chuckling at his words.
"You want me to move in to your room?"
Taehyung nodded when Jungkook turned to face him.
"Fine. But can I keep my papers for work there instead? I'll bring only my clothes and other things."
"Ok. Shall I help you?"
Taehyung grinned but Jungkook shook his head.
"Uh... no need. I'll do it myself."
"Jungkook. You know, I've never seen your room. I wanna see it before we move in together. Don't you, at least, want to show me how your room looks like?"
Taehyung smiled, hooking his arms around the other's neck.
Jungkook stared at him who was innocently asking him to see his room, when he's someone who has never let anyone enter his room, not even his parents in his own house where he used to live before meeting Taehyung.
"You wanna see my room?"
But it's funny how he's now smiling when Taehyung nodded happily to his question.
Funny how he instantly opened his door, willing to show his room to Taehyung who dropped his jaw at how neat his room looked.
He smiled while staring at Taehyung running around his room, giggling at the small simple things, a really pleasing view to watch.
And out of nowhere, he felt a sudden tendency to show the excited bear everything about him, just so he can see how the other will react if he show him everything, just so he can see those sparkling eyes for a little longer.
And what if he show the real him to Taehyung? What would be his reaction?
A part of him wanted to tell him everything, while a part of him was scared to say anything.
Would he be happy to know more about him?
Would his eyes sparkle if he tell him about his life?
Or, would he get mad for hiding it from him?
What would Taehyung think of him?
Would his feelings towards him change after knowing his real self?
Will everything be the same?
"Wanna see something interesting?"
He asked anyway. But he didn't regret asking it looking at how Taehyung's eyes glittered with an exciting nod.
Yeah. He wanted to see those eyes.
And he kept wanting to see it more.
And it became his another weakness.
He pat the bed, gesturing Taehyung to sit beside him who instantly did.
"Do you, perhaps, know this? Have you at least heard about it?"
He showed the other a video from his phone but the other gasped once his eyes land on the phone screen.
"Oh my god. Isn't this JK? That gamer?"
"You know him?"
A happy smile curled up on his lips seeing how Taehyung excitedly grabbed his phone from his hand to watch the video.
"Hell YES! He's my favorite gamer. I always used to watch his video streams when I was in highschool. That's how I started playing video games because it looked so cool when he plays. But I'm not really a good player like him tho. He plays really nice."
Taehyung grinned innocently while talking about his favorite gamer.
"Do you watch his videos too?"
"Well..."
Jungkook cleared his throat after a deep breath.
"Wanna know a secret?"
"Secret? What is it?"
He smiled at Taehyung's curious eyes staring at him and that's enough for him to spill his secret.
"Umm... will you believe if I say... that JK is me?"
Silence, with Jungkook staring at Taehyung, eagerly waiting for his reaction until a loud laugh broke the silence in the room.
That's not what Jungkook expected. He knew the other won't believe him easily but he expected at least a surprised or a shocked reaction or a curious eyes asking him questions, not a laugh.
"Stop joking around Jungkook."
Taehyung said, trying to hold his laugh.
"Come on. Tell me now what is your secret."
"I told you just now. That was my secret."
Silence again.
This time, he could see a dubious look in Taehyung's eyes.
"Are you... sure you're really JK?"
Taehyung asked, still with a bit of doubt because, JK is one of the most popular gamer in his highschool time. So, like, how could it be?
"And if I am?"
Jungkook sounded so confident wearing that smirk but Taehyung kept staring at him with furrowed eyebrows.
"You don't believe me?"
He tilted his head.
"No... I mean... yeah, kinda. I don't know. It's not like I don't believe you but... I've never seen him in person before, more like I don't know who he is. Nobody knows. He never showed his face or any of his identity to public except for his in-game name, that is JK. That's all everyone knows about him and that's all I know about him. But you're telling me all this suddenly... You're not trying to fool me, are you?"
Taehyung asked but Jungkook got up from the bed with a sigh and looked out the window, the wind managed to enter to the room through his partially opened glass window.
"I was a quiet person. So I don't really talk with my classmates, more like I didn't have friends. Most of the people in my school tried to get closer to me, just because I had good grades and I don't like it when I get too much attentions. Because it always turns out as them taking advantage of me, non of them took me as their friend, like, a real friend."
He sighed with a faint smile following it after.
"But I really like playing games, like really, ever since I was little. I used to go to arcades alone, everyday after school to play games until my dad bought me a gaming console by saving his salary on my 10th birthday. And that's how I started playing video games seriously."
He chuckled to himself before he continued.
"I was only 13 when I tried streaming my gaming videos for the first time by hiding my real identity in game streaming sites, but when my videos get noticed by so many people, which was not in my expectations, and without knowing, I unintentionally became popular. I used to get asked about my real name, my age, everything about me by many people on internet. When I didn't reveal anything, I was on the newspaper and tv news with people querying about me. Those medias and people who called themselves my fans made me feel so surrounded to their own perspectives. I felt like being trapped, but in a cage of public eyes and medias. And... I was so scared to face the world at that young age alone. And I don't want the thing I love to do become a chore to me just to please those people. All I wanted was to just do what I love and enjoy doing it."
He sighed as he walked back to sit next to Taehyung again.
"So I hide. Nobody knows about me, even my parents have no idea who is the gamer JK everyone was talking about that time, even till now. It was better to stay hiden then facing the social and medias. I want to live freely on my own. I want to be me, as Jeon Jungkook who loves playing games. Not as JK for the people."
Jungkook sighed as he conclude and look at Taehyung who was listening to his stupid story silently.
He couldn't believe himself he really told this to Taehyung, the thing he kept hidden to himself since a long time.
"To be honest, we're kinda similar, don't you think? You wanted to get away from your family to live on your own, you wanted freedom. So do I. Maybe that's why I was still willing to help you when you asked for my help, eventhough your plans were kinda stupid. Because I can understand the freedom you wanted. But thanks to your friend's stupid ideas, we got to be together like this and I got to tell my biggest secret to someone special."
He smiled when Taehyung took his hand in his, caressing it with his thumb gently and looked at him with teary eyes.
"Thank you for listening to my stupid life story of me being a coward."
He laughed out his emotions.
"And yeah. You're the first person that I've told about this to. You should feel lucky the famous JK everyone is curious about is right in front of you, showing you the real him. And most importantly, he's yours now. Nobody can have him now since you already have him all for yourself."
He winked playfully, teasing Taehyung, to make the mood a bit lighter, because he knew the other was getting emotional a bit from his story.
"Jungkook-ah."
Yeah. Jungkook wanted Taehyung to say his name with that voice, with that loving tone, at least once. He always feel a safe kinda feeling whenever he heard him saying his name, eventhough he wanted the older to use cute nicknames on him. But that's alright, as long as Taehyung calls his name lovingly.
"Hmm?"
He answered with a smile, thinking the other would tease him back but his eyes went soft when Taehyung caressed his face with his hand gently, eyes locking with his.
"I love you."
Silence took over the whole room, to the extent they could hear the sound of each other's heartbeat.
Taehyung said those three words only once, but Jungkook could still hear it repeating in his head numerous times.
Their hearts already knew the fondness they had for each other.
But it's the first time he heard it from Taehyung and he have never felt so loved, felt himself so special.
He wanted to hear it again. Just to make sure he heard everything right and it's not some heavenly dreams he always dreamed about every night he close his eyes holding his world in his arm.
Because just now, it felt too good to be true.
"Can you... can you say it again?"
Taehyung blinked his eyes, tilting his head, hands still caressing Jungkook's face.
"What to say?"
"That one you said just now. Say it again."
"I said it once already. I can't say it again. At least not for now. It's embarrassing."
Taehyung was about to pull his hand away but Jungkook was fast enough to grab it and keep it back on his face.
"Taehyung, don't try to ruin the mood. Just say it again. I want to hear it again."
"Why is me the only one to say it? You just stared at me without saying anything. You could've responded me at least with a "me too" or a kis--"
Jungkook didn't let Taehyung finish his word because he already knew what the other was going to say next, by grabbing his nape with his hand to pull him closer, another hand wrapping around his waist securely, lips finally feeling those alluring lips that kept inviting him to be felt.
They smiled to the kiss, for no particular reason, just feeling the sweetness of each other's lips with their hearts dancing to their own music of their synchronizing beats.
They stared at each other after they pull away from their not so long yet sweet kiss, getting a view to each other's faces burning red until Jungkook initiated for another, a more deeper and a more passionate than before. He couldn't get enough of those inviting lips, he wanted more.
"Jungkook. Wait."
Taehyung stopped him from going his lips down to his jaw till his neck but chuckled when Jungkook whined.
"Let's move your things to my room first, hmm?"
He laughed, squeezing the younger's cheeks who was pouting.
"Do you know how cute you look right now?"
"If you think I'm cute then kiss me again."
"Jungkook. Stop whining. It's getting late. Come. I'll help you move your things."
"What about my kiss?"
"You'll get it later, only after you move in to my room. Let's do it fast if you want a kiss soon."
Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows but Taehyung stuck his tongue out. He was about to get down from the bed with a smirk but Jungkook grabbed his hand.
"Are you really going to do this to me?"
He used his puppy eyes but Taehyung nodded with a shrug.
"Don't use those eyes to me. It's not gonna work."
"I only asked for a kiss."
"We just kissed. Like, just now?"
"But I already miss it you know."
He smiled as he slid his hands around the older's waist.
"Hyung, one kiss. Just one. Hmm?"
Yeah. He used 'hyung', purposefully, with his pleading puppy eyes.
"Y-you... you... ugh! You're still annoying."
Jungkook's innocent look changed into a smirk, because he knew Taehyung finally gave in when he saw the older closing his eyes, waiting for him to kiss him.
But he smiled, landing a soft lingering peck over his forehead and that's when Taehyung opened his eyes to look at him with sparkling eyes, cheeks in a blushing mess.
"I love you Taehyung. I just... I just love you so much. I don't know what to do right now."
He felt as if he just exploded when he said those three words, that kind of feeling as if he had been holding it up for a long time and suddenly felt so relieved when they finally let out from his mouth.
He didn't know what he was doing until he felt something rolling down his cheeks. His tears. He was crying? Why was he even crying? Was he that happy that he's literally crying right now?
"Why are you crying? Oh my! Jungkook-ah, why are you just... so cute? Ahahaha!!"
Taehyung laughed while trying to remove Jungkook hands covering his face.
It's kinda embarrassing to cry at this moment but he couldn't stop his tears. They kept rolling down his cheeks.
Damn! his tears need some manners.
"Hey, look at me."
Taehyung finally succeeded in removing those hands from his face but he kept his face down until Taehyung cupped his face with his long hands and made him look at him, wiping his tears out with his thumb gently.
Jungkook obeyed only to be welcomed by a soft gaze piercing through his eyes with so much love and adoration, a warm smile hugging him virtually.
"Jungkook-ah, do you know how brave you are?"
Taehyung smiled when Jungkook stared at him.
"In that young age, you were able to decide what do you want to do, you were able to do what you want, and you were able to make out the things that makes you uncomfortable and dealt with them so well, facing your every difficulties all alone by yourself. Thank you for telling your secrets to me. That made me feel I'm special for you. And your story wasn't stupid. You're not a coward. You're really brave, Jungkook. And I'm so proud of you."
Taehyung poured all his sincerity to his words as his hands caressed the younger's face who finally smiled softly.
"And you're such a brilliant and smart person, do you know that? You could literally outplay those older gamers of that time easily. And that's what made people curious about you more, because you were such a great player and your playing skills were outstanding."
Taehyung took away his hand from Jungkook's face who started whining at the lost warmth but smiled when he held his hand instead.
"You're over praising me. It's embarrassing."
"Why is it embarrassing? You're more than what I said."
Taehyung chuckled, looking at how the younger squeezed his hand. Was he that shy?
"And... to be honest, I was also one of those people who wanted to know about you. I used to wait for your new videos."
"Really?"
Jungkook finally smiled again when Taehyung nodded.
"I used to check if there's any new video everyday. But it must've been almost 6 years since you never upload anything, right?"
"Well, yeah."
Jungkook scratched the back of his neck.
"Why? Because you're afraid of people noticing you?"
"That's also one reason. But I tried focusing more in my studies too. It's not like I wanted to stream videos, I just tried doing something new. It was a mistake that my videos got noticed. And rather than playing just for fun to pass time like others, I wanted to do more than just playing. That's why I--"
"So that's why you joined a gaming company and work there?"
Wait, what? That's not what he was going to say.
"Well I--"
"And you quit playing games?"
Taehyung frowned.
"What? Who said I quit playing games?"
"So you still play right?"
"Of course."
"I thought you quit playing because of your job."
"Why would I stop playing? That's what I love to do. I can still play with the job. It's just that I play for less time than before."
Taehyung breathed out a relief sigh.
"Thank god. Don't quit what you love to do. Just do whatever you want. It's better to be happy now than regret later."
Jungkook chuckled.
"Yeah yeah. I can see you do the same. You always do whatever you want."
"Of course."
Taehyung raised his chin while Jungkook couldn't stop smiling looking at him.
"But seriously, your playing skills are awesome. All the people in my class talked about this JK, that JK, like... JK was the most popular topic even in our whole school. Even non game lovers talked about JK. I wasn't really a game lover, but I started playing after watching JK's videos everyone was talking about. I was amazed by the way he played. It was so cool that I even wished I could play like JK."
Taehyung's eyes sparkled while talking about his favorite gamer.
Jungkook was poking his cheeks with his tongue while listening to the other speaking so excitedly.
Like seriously? Why is there too many JKs in his sentences?
Wait. Did he just get jealous of himself?
"But I suck in video games compare to you, aren't I?"
"No."
Jungkook caressed Taehyung's hand gently.
"You really played well. Your playing tricks were different with other people. I was impressed by the way you played that day."
"Which day?"
Taehyung tilted his head.
"Umm... well, I saw you playing alone, that day we met."
"What? So you asked me to play with you after seeing me play?"
"Yeah."
Jungkook grinned.
"You were playing all alone and winning every game. So I wanted to try playing with you. It was really a challenging game. And trust me, you were so good that it was hard to win over you."
"But you still win all the game we played that day."
"You won at last though."
"That's only once."
Taehyung rolled his eyes while Jungkook chuckled.
"But you're the first person I lose a game to and the only person who can win a game from me."
Jungkook scrunched his nose as he smile when Taehyung start grinning with his boxy smile.
"And yeah. Don't be too happy. I let you win that day. You're lucky you're cute."
He smirked, back to teasing Taehyung who was about to scorn at him but ended up giggling when he tickled him until they fell on the bed with him hovering over the older.
"Thank me now for letting you win."
Jungkook booped his nose to Taehyung's who was giggling, running his fingers through his hair, playing them.
"Fine."
Taehyung rolled his eyes playfully before pecking the younger's lips.
"Thank you."
"Hmm? I only asked you to thank me. Why did you kiss me?"
Jungkook said, smirking when he noticed how Taehyung's face turned red.
"It was a bonus. If you don't like it--"
"No. I like it. Do it again."
"I won't."
"Hyung? Hyung? Please?"
"I hate you."
"What? You said you love me just now."
"I'm taking it back."
"You can't take it back."
"I can ta--"
And Jungkook shut him with a short kiss.
"Why are you--"
Another kiss.
"You--"
Another kiss.
Taehyung placed his fingers over Jungkook's lips, blocking him while the other whined.
"Yah! You can't just kiss me like that."
He whispered.
Jungkook removed the fingers from his lips, pinning the hand on the bed holding the wrist.
"You could kiss me out of nowhere in the middle of the road and I can't kiss you when we're alone here?"
He could see how Taehyung couldn't look at him in the eyes, blushing at their closeness.
"Taehyung, look at me."
He said softly and they fixed their eyes once Taehyung finally looked at him.
He smiled, slowly loosening his grip on the other's wrist and caressed his face gently as Taehyung closed his eyes at the touch.
"I love you."
Taehyung opened his eyes when he heard the voice, low and deep that felt so comforting when he let out those three words like a warm hug.
He stared at those captivating eyes that were already staring at him with so much affection that never failed to make his heart do those familiar flips inside.
"Sigh. I can't even get mad at you now for teasing me."
He pout while Jungkook chuckled.
"Why?"
He knew Jungkook knows why. But he still like that the other asked him by himself again, because he wanted to admit something he never thought he would.
"Because I can't stay mad at someone as lovable as you? And plus, you are... you look so handsome right now."
Jungkook giggled, looking so happy and Taehyung couldn't take his eyes off from him.
The younger looked so handsome and adorable. He have never felt so captivated by someone before.
"So he loves being praised."
Taehyung noted in his mind.
And at the next moment, as if he was possessed, he let his heart take the lead for his lips to reach the other's, closing his mind along with his eyes, entering into the surreal feeling that spread through his every single nerves as they shared a lingering kiss, deep and passionate, melting into each other's warmth like they were feeling their lips for the first time.
Their breaths mingled, their scents blending with each other as Jungkook held the slender waist that felt so perfect to be in his arms tightly, while Taehyung brushed his fingers through his hair and another hand caressing the younger's nape gently.
And that's when Taehyung realized for the nth time, that the person holding him securely in his arms right now,
who cared for him,
who made him feel so special,
who made him feel so loved,
who cried after saying how much he loves him,
Yeah... this person is the one he fell for.
And he was loved by this person.
Yoonji was right. Jungkook loves him so dearly. So does he.
Without any doubt, he realized again,
That their bond wasn't just something romantic or affectionate between lovers.
It's something more passionate than being passionate.
It's something warmer than warmth.
It's something more comfortable than the comfort.
They were each other's home.
They were each other's safe place.
