Taehyung took some more steps closer towards Jungkook and smiled.
"Marry me."
Jungkook raised his eyebrows and stared at Taehyung for some seconds and started laughing.
Taehyung looked at him with confused eyes.
"Why are you laughing?"
Jungkook pressed his waist as he tried to hold his laugh.
"Are you... Are you proposing me?"
Taehyung scoffed as he rolled his eyes.
"You're surely good in imagining things. Do you think I'll propose you?"
"Of course I don't. But what you did just now sounds like that."
"Think whatever you want but I'm never going to propose you in my life."
Taehyung crossed his arms.
"Of course you won't. But have you ever thought of why would I marry you before asking me? What if I don't want to marry you?"
"Do you think I want to marry you then?"
"Wasn't it you who asked me to marry you? Why would you ask that if you don't want to?"
"I didn't ask you because I want to marry you... ok? I just wanted to ask you for help."
"Well... Is this marrying thing also an idea from your best friend?"
Jungkook smirked.
"Are you going to help me or not?"
Taehyung raised his voice.
"What makes you think that I'll help you? Are you that easy person to just ask some random person to marry you so easily? Or... Have you fallen for me already?"
Jungkook winked.
Taehyung rolled his eyes with a sigh.
"You're too bold and shameless to think that way huh? Well... I don't know why did I choose you to help me. Guess I'm just unlucky or too dump to ask for help to a random person who is also a jerk like you. But what to do? My parents have already seen your face as my boyfriend and they kept asking me to ask you to bring your parents to fix the marriage."
Jungkook put his hands inside his pocket.
"You don't even know me well but you're still asking me to marry you. Aren't you afraid that I might take advantage of you?"
"Well... It's true that I don't know you. But you don't look like that kind of person. And... I don't need to know about you since we're marrying just to show my parents only for some time anyway. It's not going to be serious and it shouldn't disturb your normal life too."
Taehyung looked around, they were still standing in front of the internet cafe.
"Let's go somewhere and talk properly if you're willing to help me or..."
"Well... what's the deal?"
Jungkook cut the other off making Taehyung to smile and start walking as Jungkook followed him behind until they were sitting together in the same coffee shop where they went last time.
"Since we're just going to show that we're married in front of my parents so that they won't say anything about marriage anymore.... we'll just tell them that we don't want any grand wedding celebrations and we'll just say that we will register our marriage on our own so that we can just get a fake marriage certificate and show it to them. We will just tell them that we want to live on our own and go somewhere so that they won't find out the truth that we're not actually married. Let this deal be only for 3 months. We just have to act as a married couple in front of our parents only during this period and we shall be doing whatever we want and live our lives on our own and we shouldn't bother in each other's business. After 3 months, we'll tell them that we have some afflict between us and we're divorced. How's that sound?"
Jungkook just stared at Taehyung speaking non stop, explaining his so called plan and waiting for his response.
"Do you think your plan will work?"
"Why not?"
Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows.
"Your plan looks so childish. How can you be so sure everything will go by your plan? Your parents might not be that dumb enough to believe everything you say. What if your parents find out before 3 months? And... getting divorced in only 3 months doesn't sound real."
"Are you going to help me or not?"
Taehyung crossed his arms.
"Ok ok... I'll help you... It's not like I have a choice now after seeing how pathetic you look just to run away from your arrange marriage. Shouldn't you be grateful that I'm not asking for anything in return for helping you? You didn't give any reward for my last performance too."
"I didn't say that you can't. Of course you can ask me any reward you want. I'll give you... if... your performance is not bad. And as for your last performance, I'll surely give you."
Taehyung said as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Well... I thought you've forgotten about it. I'm relieved that you still remember it at least."
Jungkook said after taking a sip of his coffee.
"Then... when are we going to start our deal?"
"Let's just go to them together tomorrow. They really want to happen this marriage as soon as possible."
Taehyung got up from his seat.
"And please don't go there alone like last time. We need to do this together ok? Let's meet here at 10 tomorrow morning."
Taehyung left the cafe after getting a nod from Jungkook.

"You're late."
Taehyung crossed his arms just when Jungkook took his seat across the table.
"It's only 10:05."
"But you're still 5 minutes late."
"Fine. You're right. I'm wrong. Happy?"
"I'm always right."
Taehyung shrugged his shoulders.
"Well..."
He checked out Jungkook up and down.
"Well... I must say... You did dressed up pretty well today huh? You look quite decent today."
Jungkook was wearing a formal long sleeved white shirt with its hem tugging inside the formal black pants where the waist belt hugging his waist tightly. His black hair being pulled back showing his forehead was giving a better view of his well sculpted handsome face.
"Of course I should look good in front of your parents. Or... Are you finally admitting yourself that I'm handsome?"
Jungkook winked.
Taehyung rolled his eyes.
"If you're done with your self praising session... Shall we go?"
"What? Are you still denying that I'm handsome? I saw you drooling over me just now."
Jungkook blabbed as he follow Taehyung who already started walking out of the cafe.
"Ok... No more talking nonsense from now. Let's be serious."
Taehyung said and took a deep breath.
They both were already standing in front of the house. Jungkook offered his arm which Taehyung held it... because they need to act like boyfriends anyway.
"Mom... We---"
Taehyung was about to speak but...
"Jungkook?"
Taehyung widen his eyes with confusion when he saw a middle aged couple sitting together with his parents. But what made him more shocked and confused was not them sitting with his parents but the middle aged woman called out Jungkook's name. Who are they?
"Mom? Dad? What are you doing here?"
Taehyung snapped his head towards Jungkook who shouted suddenly.
"Jungkook? What are you doing here?"
The woman stood up quickly.
"Wait... What's going on? Who is who? I mean... Why did he just call you two mom and dad? Wait... Is he your son?"
Mrs. Kim asked the woman.
"He is."
"What? Really?"
Mrs. Kim squealed.
"Oh my god..!! Then your son is the one I was talking about. He's the one dating my son."
"Really? Oh my god... oh my god..!!"
The two ladies started hugging each other.
"What's going on? Are they really your parents? Why are they here?"
Taehyung pinched Jungkook's arms and whispered.
"Ouch..!! How would I know that they would be here?"
Jungkook rubbed his arms in pain as he whispered back.
"If you don't know why your parents are here then I should know that?"
"You two. Come here. Don't be shy."
Taehyung and Jungkook both snapped their heads and faked a smile as they took their seat in between their parents.
"Aww... Just look at him. He's such a pretty little boy."
The woman squeezed Taehyung's cheeks.
"Oh my... My son is so lucky to have such a pretty beautiful boyfriend."
"You're flattering us too much. We're so lucky to have your son as a boyfriend of my son. He is handsome, caring and understanding."
Taehyung just wanted to vanish from there right at the moment. What exactly is going on? When did they become this close?
"Mom... uh... Do you know each other from before?"
Taehyung asked while faking a smile.
"Oh... I forgot to tell you two about something. Jungkook, your mother is my friend and we met after a long time while I was in the mall today. I invited her here to have a meal together. But look at us now. I never thought my son's boyfriend would be my friend's son."
Mrs. Kim said as she and Jungkook's mother held their hands together.
"That's right. But... well... I need to ask you something... I don't know if you will agree to this easily but... Would you mind me if I say I really want our sons to marry each other since they're already dating? I mean... we're friends... so... why don't we just--"
"Oh my god. You just spoke what was in my mind. I really want them to get married as soon as possible."
Mrs. Kim cut Jungkook's mother off making the two squealed and hugged each other again happily.
Taehyung and Jungkook just sat there like a statue. Their parents seemed so into their own world that the two felt like they were not at all there with them.
"So... about the wedding--"
"Mom..! Wait..."
Taehyung cut his mother off suddenly.
"Ah... About the wedding... If we're going to get married, we don't want any celebrations. We'll just register our marriage by ourselves so that--"
"Taehyung. Marriage is something that you would remember your whole life. It should be one of the most special and beautiful day of one's life. It should be the day when you'll unite with your love one who's going to spend the rest of your life together and we parents will hand over the care for our lovely child to the one you love to take care of you. I know that you're not interested in grand celebrations but you're my only son. I want to give you the most memorable and special day for your life. So let me do this for you at least before you belong to some other person."
Taehyung saw the teary eyes of his mother. He couldn't even reject what his mother was saying eventhough everything is happening opposite to what he actually planned. He took a glance at Jungkook who was just sitting there without saying anything. He felt guilty for dragging him into this mess. He messed up everything.

"I'm sorry."
Taehyung spoke after being silent for almost 15 minutes.
Both of them were in Taehyung's room after their parents told them to take their time to think about the marriage while the parents were busy talking about other stuffs in downstairs. But both of them didn't speak a single word since they came to the room until Taehyung broke it.
"Sorry? Why?"
Jungkook said as he rest his back on the wall.
"I... I shouldn't have done this. Lying is seriously not the answer for any problem. For a single lie, how many more lies am I going to say to my parents?"
Taehyung massaged his forehead with his hand as he sat by the edge of his bed while hanging his legs down.
"What are we going to do now? I thought it would still be a bit more easier if it's only my parents but now... even your parents are all involved in this mess. And it's all because of me."
"Hey."
Jungkook walked towards Taehyung as he half kneeled in front of him.
"Don't blame yourself like that. Even I'm also the reason of this. Don't worry. We still can try to think of other ways now too. They gave us time."
But it didn't help Taehyung at all. He just sat there with his head down but suddenly,
"Shall we just get married?"
"What?"
Jungkook tilted his head. He never thought that would be the sentence Taehyung will say.
"Wait... Listen. I know we don't even know each other nor we love each other and this marriage will just be meaningless. But can we just stick to our deal? I mean... we'll get married as per their wish and act as a couple only in front of them for the time being and should not bother each other when they are out of our sight. Then after the 3 months of our deal, we'll just divorce and go on our own lives and never meet each other. How about this?"
Jungkook just stared at Taehyung's desperate yet hopeful eyes.
"Do you think it'll work?"
"I don't know. But let's just give it a try. I know I'm asking you for too much, even when it might reflect to your life, but trust me, I'll never disturb you and your life. You can go on dates if you want, you can go partying with your friends, you can do whatever you want, I won't say anything. And it implies to you too. You shouldn't bother anything about me. And..."
Taehyung cleared his throat.
"Most importantly... you shouldn't fall in love with me."
Jungkook kept staring at Taehyung with a smirk.
"Are you sure it would be me to fall in love with you first?"
"What?"
Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows.
"Well... You know, as I always say, I'm quite handsome and my charm is irresistible. So I'm afraid you'll fall for me instead."
Jungkook smiled when he saw Taehyung rolling his eyes.
"But don't worry. I'm never going to fall for you."
"That's great then. I'll never be the one to fall for you either."
Taehyung raised his eyebrows as he crossed his arms.
"So... Let's just stick to the deal."
"Deal."
