Of course, Louis didn't know any of this. He just silently picked up the lunch and walked out of the office, ready to throw it away, when he heard murmurs coming from the secretary's room.
"Georgia is way too much; Dr. Kirkland is so pitiful!"
"Yeah, she held the position that should've been Dr. Kirkland's for three years, then got caught cheating and kicked out, yet she took it out on Dr. Kirkland. So shameless."
"Right? Dr. Kirkland is so pitiful, not only losing her lover but also having to endure Georgia's..."
When she saw Louis standing at the door, the speaker immediately swallowed the rest of her words.
Everyone quickly returned to their seats, all meek and reserved.
Those piercing eagle eyes revealed no emotion, while the natural aura of a leader instilled instant awe.
Louis just paused slightly before turning back.
Back in the office, he sat in silence for a long while before unconsciously picking up his phone and opening Twitter. At the top of the headlines was the news event involving Georgia.
Clicking in, there was a clear video.
It was an expression he had never seen on Georgia's face.
She was all icy and sharp, sneaking up on them and dumping a bucket of water on the two's heads. She even maliciously slammed the bucket onto a medic's head, and even worse, she shoved both of them hard to the ground.
Louis's face got even icier. After a long pause, he dialed Gemma's number.
The phone was picked up fast, and Gemma's sweet voice came through. "Louis, what brings your call today? Something up?"
'It seems like the first time Louis has called me. He must have seen the trending video online. Guess this move really worked,' she sneered inwardly.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Louis asked, annoyed.
Gemma was all smug on the outside, but she played dumb. "Louis, what didn't I tell you? Did something happen?"
"Why didn't you tell me that woman was bullying you?"
Sensing the anger in Louis's voice, Gemma smiled even more widely, yet her words were filled with utmost grievance.
"Louis, it's okay. After all, she's your ex-wife. I'm used to it. Just got splashed with some water, no big deal. Let's just drop it!
"Miss Murray's been through a lot, loved you for so many years, guess the divorce really set her off. I won't hold it against her."
Louis's grip on the phone tightened, a cold glint flashing in his sharp eyes. "Don't worry. I'll get you some closure on this."
With that, he hung up.
In the ICU ward of Saylor Hospital, Phillip had been staring at Georgia, who was constantly busy, for over an hour.
Finally, realizing she had no intention of speaking, he couldn't hold back anymore. "Don't know how to leave yourself an out, huh? Getting roasted online feels good?"

To her surprise, the stubborn old man suddenly believed in her without reason, instantly brightening Georgia's mood.

Georgia smirked at Phillip. "Getting old, yet still so vengeful!"
Though she said that, she was surprised to find their thoughts aligned so closely.
In the evening, Georgia trudged home, exhausted.
A low-key yet luxurious Maybach suddenly pulled up beside her. Out stepped Louis, towering in front of her.
Looking up at his ever-cold eyes, Georgia sneered, "Mr. Rathbone got nothing better to do?
