Georgia, with her arm in a sling, arrived at the hospital.
As soon as she stepped inside, a flashy sports car suddenly came barreling towards her. Georgia widened her eyes and quickly dodged to the side, but she was still a step too late.
The car's side brushed against her, knocking her to the ground. Her hand, which she had just bandaged in the morning, was scraped raw again.
Following that, Marlone Nickell, elegant and noble, stepped out of the car. He looked at Georgia, who was now in a rather disheveled state, and raised an eyebrow.
"I heard Louis and you were together last night? He even carried you to the hospital? What? Still trying to cling to my brother?"
Seeing Marlone's seductive eyes, Georgia slowly got up. Only someone as obsessive as Marlone would pull a stunt like driving into her.
"So Gemma sent you? Damn, happy being her permanent backup plan?"
"Yo! Got divorced from my brother, and your guts got bigger, huh? Dare to mock me now?"
Never did he expect the woman who always treated him with gentleness to stand up to him.
But that was fine. Before, with her swallowing her pride, he couldn't do anything to her. Now, he had plenty of reasons to teach her a lesson.
Seeing Marlone's usual arrogant demeanor, Georgia silently wiped the blood off her hand, ignoring him.
Before, she was always polite to this cousin of Louis, but now? He meant nothing to her.

But as soon as she turned around, Marlone blocked her path. "You think you can just walk away after offending me?"
Georgia felt helpless. "Marlone, listen. I'm divorced from Louis, and whether he marries Gemma or not has nothing to do with me, got it?"
"As long as you stay out of the way, they'll be tying the knot in no time."
Georgia was angered, snapping, "If you want to kiss Gemma's ass, go ahead, but don't drag me into it, okay? Now, can you let go?"
Seeing her irritated, Marlone seethed with frustration.
"Don't act so innocent. Who's been clinging to the position of Mrs. Gu all these years? Who doesn't know about the humiliating things you did for my brother back then? Now, with just a divorce, you expect everyone to believe you've let go? No way!"
"So, what exactly do you want?" Watching Marlone throw a tantrum, Georgia felt like she'd been screwed over.
Hearing Georgia's question, Marlone was momentarily stunned. He hadn't even thought about that question actually.
Seeing the angry Georgia, he smirked, "You're smart. As long as you stop targeting Gemma from now on, I won't bother you."
At that, Georgia laughed in anger. "Then be ready to bother me anytime."
She and Gemma were locked in a bitter, unrelenting feud.
With that, Georgia turned and walked around Marlone, but this sticky pest stuck to her again.
Marlone chased after her. "Georgia, don't push it. I haven't settled the score for you pouring water all over Gemma—"
Before he could finish, his body suddenly slumped down. Meridith Murray, holding a brick, appeared with a devilish smile.
"Injured again? Sis, you're really going backwards if you can't even handle such a pesky fly," she said.
Meridith, a little girl Georgia sponsored eight years ago, was now a top student at a prestigious university in Journ City. Being an orphan, she took the same surname as Georgia.
Georgia's fighting skills were personally taught by Meridith.
