FALLON
I stood at the edge of a forest somewhere in Renton. The brush was dense, bushels and trees alike covering the forest floor and making it near impossible to see what lurked inside. The visibility was low, obscured by an opaque fog that hovered in the air silently. It was wet too, it had rained only hours before our arrival and remnants of the storm dripped off of the vegetation and squelched under my feet every time I moved.
Lucius stood quietly next to me and sniffed the air with a crooked look on his face. He'd been on edge ever since we arrived and I wasn't sure why. It was starting to put me on edge too.
Coming to the woods had been his idea. I originally wanted to stop by my aunt's house first and explain my situation to her and my uncle and then worry about shelter for the night. But Lucius insisted on coming to the woods which made zero sense. There was nothing out here for us except trees and fog. There was a slight chill in the air that reminded me of its presence through gentle gusts of wind. It rubbed against my face every so often; I breathed it in to get rid of it yet every time I exhaled it escaped through my mouth in a thick vapor to rejoin the world once again.
"What's wrong? You don't like it here already?" He scoffed and looked down at me for a second before returning his gaze to the woods again.
"The place isn't the problem, who inhabits this place is." He muttered and I rolled my eyes because I hated when he got all vague and mysterious.
"Who?" I questioned. A feeling of fear passed through my body and the sensation forced my feet to shuffle closer to Lucius who noticed right away and slipped an arm around my waist.
"Another vampire." My heart skipped a beat for various reasons but the main one being I had never met another vampire before other than Lucius. I had no idea what to expect from one and the thought scared me more than it should've.
"Are they dangerous?" Lucius smirked amusedly.
"If he was dangerous I wouldn't have let you come here. But he's hiding from other vampires that are dangerous." His grip around my waist tightened and I was glad for it because the way he spoke about these vampires made me feel uneasy.
"You can relax, Fallon. Their business is with him, not us. I just don't want him near you." My heart fluttered at the possessiveness in his voice.
"What are we doing out here anyways? It's cold and I think it might rain again." He began to walk forward, deeper into the ominous woods and because of his arm around me I was forced to walk forwards as well even though I didn't really want to.
"I need to show you something." He didn't say anything else after that and neither did I, choosing to trust that Lucius had nothing but good intentions and would never willingly bring me in harms way.
It was useless to be weary of him now. Melrose was no longer a place I belonged, if Lucius did turn out to be a crazy, savage vampire with evil intent, it was too late for me to run from him. I made my bed and now I had to lay in it. I also think it's worth mentioning that if he wanted to do something to me he could've done so during the drive over. I'd been sleep for a majority of it which gave the perfect opening for him to do something and he didn't.
I sighed to cease these sudden doubts about him. One, because I knew I was overthinking things and two, because I knew if I let them go any further Lucius would catch on and I didn't want him to feel bad about something that was out of his control.
After walking for a good fifteen minutes we stopped. He wanted to show me something but there was nothing to be seen except more woods and thicker fog that snaked around forest floor like a snake, silent and wrapping around my ankles trying to trap me in its wispy clutches. Lucius removed his arm from my waist and I shivered at the loss of his warmth. He brought his ring finger up to his mouth where his fangs were already out and waiting. He pricked his fingers against the point of his tooth to draw blood which immediately gushed from his wound, it dripped a few times into the earth below us and seeped into the ground, disappearing to never be seen again.
He licked over his finger a few times and I watched the action, my belly pooling with unwanted desire.
"Stop watching me and look." Embarrassed that I'd been caught I looked away from him and instead forced myself to face forward at the scene unfolding in front of me. I knew magic was real, my mother was living proof of that and now, apparently so was I. But I'd never seen it actually happen in front of me before so to see a cottage—Lucius's cottage specifically, the one we'd left back in Melrose (or so I thought), reveal itself was practically mind blowing.
Memories rushed through my brain like a current of nonstop water. My heart clenched at them and I looked back up at Lucius who was already looking at me, blue eyes brighter than the sky after a storm.
"How is it here?" He let his hands find my waist again and pulled me to stand in front of him to walk me forward and onto the familiar porch.
"Magic, literally. A witch hooked this up for me a while back after I saved her from some werewolves. My blood triggers it so I can summon it anywhere I go."
"Well now I feel silly for ever missing it." Lucius leaned down to press a soft kiss to my jaw.
"I don't want you staying anywhere else. Stay here with me." I'd be an absolute idiot to decline his offer.
"Of course I will," I pressed a quick kiss to his cheek. "I love you." I whispered. He closed his eyes, I could feel the action in the way his lashes stroked the curve of my chin, sending minuscule waves of shivers straight down my back.
"You do this every time." He muttered, fingers expertly moving up and inside my shirt to feel my skin. I sucked in a large breath and tried to pry him off of me because we were in the middle of the woods and it was cold and now he was unzipping my puffer and peeling it off my body.
"Do what?"
"Tempt me," Kisses were being laid across the expanse of my neck while the hem of my shirt was being invaded by his stealthy fingers once again. His leg moved to separate mine and he turned us around to push me against the front door.
"Where should I fuck you next, Fallon?" I shuddered and put my hands on his shoulders to stabilize myself and try to resist him but it was hard when his lips kept constantly attacking his mark, the most sensitive part on my body now.
"Lucius—" He shushed me and pulled my thigh up to sling it around his waist.
"Answer the question, Fallon. The couch? Or should I bend you over the table again? We won't make it to the bedroom, so don't bother suggesting that." He ended his sentence with nip to his mark and I moaned quietly in my throat at the feeling of it. I felt as he pulled my pajama pants off, leaving me only my shirt and panties. There was too much friction between us for me to feel the cold that surrounded us and so I let my pants be discarded somewhere on the porch.
"Hurry up and choose. Or I'll do it for you, and you won't like my choice." His hands left my body to tug his shirt off and over his head. My fingers, greedier than ever, ran down his chest all the down to the waistband of his pants then back to guide his forehead to mine. They bumped together softly and he bit at my cheek only to lick over it immediately after.
"Here. Right here, I can't wait." I murmured. The need to have him inside of me was stronger than the voice inside of my head telling me to take this inside. Only Lucius made me do insane things like this.
"This may be the first and last time that our ideals align ever again. Let's enjoy it." He whispered. All I could do was nod my head as I felt my panties slip off my waist and collect around my ankles. Lucius covered me with his body as he removed his own bottoms. My shirt and bra went next, scarily fast, and suddenly both of us were completely exposed to the crisp Washington air.
Lucius picked my other thigh up so he could hold me up against the door. I grasped the door knob as I felt his cock slide against my entrance. I let my head fall back against the door to give him what I knew he really wanted. I couldn't feel anything except the graze of his teeth, wetness of his tongue, and the cushy feeling of his lips all over my upper body. His kisses and the fact that I could tell he was thinking about ruining me right here against this door was almost enough to send me over the edge.
"Being with you is like torture." He said breathlessly. I watched his fingers as they curled around the base of his cock and led it to my entrance. He dragged it up and down slowly, enough to force tears out of my eyes because it felt so good but I knew it would feel better once it was fully inside of me.
"Wh—fuck—why?" The head slipped in and I clenched my teeth so I wouldn't moan so loud. I was painfully aware of our surroundings and would definitely be embarrassed about it later.
"Because," He pushed in some more, his girth stretching me the more he sunk in. "Everything about you entices me. Your scent, your blood, your body, I can never get enough." He returned to my mark again to plant light kisses over it. My face heated up and instead of giving him a response I moaned loudly at the feeling of him sinking in completely then pulling out to repeat the process. He set his pace almost immediately and if he wasn't holding me up I would've fallen to the ground.
"Don't stop. Please." His pace sped up and my grip on the door knob tightened even more. It all felt too good and I was extremely close. A few more thrusts and I'd be done for. His fangs scraped against the vein in my neck that I knew he wanted to bite into and drink from until the only thing he was capable of feeling were my feelings.
"Close?" He drawled. I groaned as I felt the muscles in my stomach tense up. I brought my arms up with the last little bit of strength that I had to snake them around his neck.
"I'm gonna—" I cut myself off with an overly loud moan and my legs tightened around his waist as I shook violently against him. Pleasure traveled through my body in strong waves and I closed my eyes to feel it all.
"Lucius-!" I gasped and dragged my nails down his back as far as I could reach. I felt his muscles twitch beneath my fingers.
Lucius kept going, even as I came down from my own orgasm and I cursed him in my head for having so much stamina.
"Lucius," I whined at the overstimulation, his favorite form of teasing that he always put me through. Not that I minded.
"Yes, baby?" He muttered as I slumped forward, my head landing on his strong shoulder and eyes closing as his thrusts finally started to slow down until they were nothing but shaky jerks. When he finally finished with a deep groan and a full body shudder, he stayed inside of me for a minute to catch his breath.
Black encompassed my vision and I shook lightly in my post sex glow. Or maybe that was the air finally eating away at my skin after being denied it for so long. I felt Lucius kiss the side of my head and breathe in my scent.
"I love you, Fallon. More than you probably think. If there were a word in the english language more powerful than 'love', then I'd use it for you." His spoke gently, quietly, as he opened the door to his cottage. Our clothes were still strewn across the porch haphazardly but he didn't care and neither did I. He took me to the bathroom to start a bath without setting me down. I didn't mind it either, I loved how it felt to be in his arms.
It wasn't until the bath was filled with warm water and something that smelled like sweet vanilla and calming lavender that he finally set me down in it with him behind me. His arms never left my waist either. We sat in the bath for what felt like ever, my head on his chest as I tried to fight sleep and his hands rubbing my sides and stomach; occasionally he'd move them down to my thighs to massage them a bit.
I planned on going straight to my aunt's house as soon as we got here but that plan flew out the window as soon as Lucius had me up against the door. Soreness was seeping into my body and it was getting harder and harder to fight off the fatigue.
"Sleep. I'll take care of you." Lucius mumbled lowly. I sighed deeply and turned so my head was in the crook of his neck instead of on his chest. The water sloshed softly and the noise only lulled me to sleep even more. It was easy to lower my defenses and sleep around Lucius because I knew that when I woke up I'd be cleaned and tucked away in his bed surrounded by his scent. I never felt unprotected around him.
As the dregs of daylight withered away, so did I, nestled snugly in Lucius's arms.
