"What do you guys want?" I questioned immediately. They exchanged glances with another before popping down on the grass next to me.
"Nothing. We just want to hang with our best bud." Answered Cole with a sly grin. I narrowed my eyes at him before rolling them and turning back towards the game.
"Sure." I muttered as I watched a girl attempting to run to the home base. She was immediately tagged out by a person on Celestes team which meant that they now had to switch sides. I watched with little interest as the girls all went to there respectful sides and started preparing themselves.
"So how's it going?" Cole asked. I raised an eyebrow and slightly turned my head to look at him.
"Im fine thanks." I answered a little hesitantly. Cole rolled his blue eyes and gave me a look.
"I wasn't asking how you were doing, I was asking how this was going." He corrected me before motioning his fingers in between myself and Celeste who had just stepped up to bat. I didn't answer him but instead focused my attention on my mate who was currently clutching the large bat in her small hands, positioning herself to swing.
I watched as the pitcher from the opposite team swung her arm back and let an incredibly fast ball loose. My eyes widened as the ball flew towards Celeste who was clenching her jaw tightly before suddenly there was a sickening crack heard through the field as my mate swung her bat forward with force and struck the fast ball, causing it to fly outwards and well out of the field.
Celeste dropped her bat and quickly made her way around all four bases as her teammates cheered for her.
A large, very proud, smile made its way onto my lips before I heard laughter coming from next to me. I turned my head to see my friends clutching there stomach laughing hard while pointing fingers at me.
"What?" I growled sharply. None of them answered but after a little while they calmed down there laughing, whipping a few tears from under there eyes.
"I guess that answers my question, things are going more them great between you two." Answered Cole as he grinned at me. I scowled and hid the smile that tried to appear.
"Man you are so whipped! I never thought Id see the day that the all mighty alpha Xander was love stuck" Laughed Dylan as he and his younger brother high fived. I growled at the two idiots but this only caused them to laugh harder.
"I am not whipped." I snapped at them. They all simultaneously raised an eyebrow at me.
"Really?" Drawled out Blake. I nodded my head vigorously before sitting up and crossing my arms over my chest. They all snorted and shook there heads. A moment of silence settled over use before Cole spoke again.
"So where are you going to take her for your first date?" Asked Cole curiously. I frowned and didn't reply. I hadn't even thought about a first date yet.
"You haven't asked her to go on one yet?" Dylan asked practically reading my mind. I shook my head enrolled my eyes when he gasped dramatically.
"Well that just wont do!" He exclaimed. I sighed and ran a hang through my messy hair.
"I havent even asked yet and I dont know where to take her." I said to no one in particular. And that's how I found myself suddenly planning my first date with Celeste, with the help of my three best friends of course.
*Celestes POV*
I was panting heavily and I could feel the sweat dripping down my back as I reached the home base. My teammates were cheering in the background and a happy smile made its way onto my face when I realized that I had just won the game.
Lela and Perrie came barreling towards me and engulfed me in a tight hug.
"We won!" Perrie squealed happily. I laughed before prying myself out of the girls' strong grips.
"Yeah we did!" I replied just as happily. I looked towards Lela to see that see had an entertained look on her face.
"What?" I asked curiously, tilting my head to the side. Lelas smirk widened before she let out a small giggle.
"Your lover boy was staring at you the whole game." She stated jerking her thumb in my mates direction. I knew what she said was true because I could feel Xanders gaze on me the entire game and believe it or not it made me extremely nervous.
I slightly turned my head to see that Xander was huddled in a small group with Cole, Dylan and Blake. They were all talking quietly amongst eachother and almost as if he had felt me staring at him Xander suddenly raised his head and locked eyes with me. My face immediately caught fire and I just caught the small smile that made its way onto his lips before I quickly turned away from him. Thankfully the bell rang signalling the end of the period before I quickly made my way to the locker room.
After hurriedly dressing back into my normal clothes Lela, Perrie and I all made are way out of the changing room and into the crowded hallway. I had just turned right, about ready to make my way to my next class, when I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder. Sparks erupted from where the hand was gently rested on my and I immediately knew that it was Xander.
