Axel stared at the Alpha King’s every move, his lips patting to say something but nothing came out.
He stood there and watch him, then support him when he is about falling down or needs someone to get one or two for him.
He still can’t believe that Alpha Byron has made up his mind to go in search of his Luna in this state.
No matter how much Axel tried persuading him to at least heal up a little, Alpha Byron paid no heed to it.
Axel understands that the earlier they save Martha, the better but then, the Alpha king is heavily wounded.
He is managing to walk after the pain on his leg healed up just a little.
“Alpha king” Axel called. Just like he has been doing, Alpha Byron ignored him as he walk around the room picking the few things that they might need.
He believes that they haven’t taken Martha that far from here. It might be far because he can’t hear her scent but she might still be around.
The humans wouldn’t have been able to take her very far away from here. There is a possibility that she might be in the nearest city closer to the packs which is New York.
Alpha Byron has gone to New York thrice, this will be the fourth time he is going into the human world.
He will comb the city for her, he must bring his female back. It doesn’t matter if he has to spill blood before he gets to take her from them.
He will do anything, anything to save Martha. And if she is no where in New York, Alpha Byron wouldn’t mind going to the end of the world until he finds her.
He only hopes it won’t be too late when he does. For the first time, Alpha Byron hopes to save an Omega.
Lately, his hatred for Martha seem to have vanished or slowly leaving because he has realized that he doesn’t have to punish the whole Omegas for what they know nothing about and another pack entirely.
They have suffered his harsh treatments, unjust killings and brutality towards them.
Alpha Byron is not remorseful but maybe, he is just angry at himself for thinking the way he did back then. His sense was overtook by the anger and his hatred towards those particular Omegas.
He was blinded by revenge and took it out on the wrong people.
He is not concerned about anything else, he doesn’t need to feel guilty towards them but maybe it’s time to make amends, after he finds his Luna.
“Stop talking and pass me my shirt” Alpha Byron said to Axel. Axel jogged to the other side and brought out a shirt for Alpha Byron.
Axel remained silent after giving him a shirt. He knows whatever he says will be meaningless to the Alpha king since he already made up his mind.
All he can do is to support him in everything. He is ready to take the risk with him.
“Are you sure you don’t need anything?” Alpha Byron asked.
“No Alpha king, I am okay” Axel replied while Alpha Byron nodded his head in response.
“I promise to make our stay there comfortable until we find her, we won’t be stranded” he promised.
Axel could only nod his head, he isn’t following Alpha Byron because he knows that he will make sure he is okay but Axel won’t mind sleeping outside, in a store or under the sun as long as the Alpha king is with him, safe and sound.
His aim is to protect the Alpha king, that is what he knows.
“Yes Alpha king” he answered.
“Alright then, let’s go” Alpha Byron said and head out of his chamber with Axel trailing behind him.
After five hours, they arrived at a forest which demarcates the wolves packs from the human world.
Both Alpha Byron and Axel had shifted into their respective wolf forms so that they can run and get here faster.
Wolves running pace is three times faster than a car in the modern world.
The two men stopped, changed into human with a sigh of relief. If they had walked, they wouldn’t have reached in twenty four hours.
It also made Alpha Byron wonder how they were able to run away with Martha. Or was there a car waiting for them? At least, Alpha Byron has seen them more than enough times.
That could be the only explanation to it. After resting for a while, they began walking out and into the big city of New York, a place where the young grows.
Knowing that this might happen, Alpha Byron did a few businesses the last time he came with Axel.
No one knows that he has a house in the human world and also has shares in more than three big companies.
He has almost everything a human needs to survive, as if he knew this was going to happen. He is happy he had thought about it before now.
In the future, he will build his own companies and run them.
It was towards evening when they reached the main city, Axel is not sure of where they are going but he keeps following behind the Alpha king.
New York is a big city, he clearly can’t remember the places they’ve been to the last time they visited but it seems Alpha Byron does.
As they were passing by, people stopped to look at the two male gods, they were too beautiful to be human. Some were envious of how God created those two so perfectly.
The two were like Greek gods, the most handsome ones among them. They make every lady that pass them by drool.
Some were gasping and some just stare in utter disbelief. They are too handsome and sexy.
People wondered why they are not popular or models, some went as far as taking pictures of them to show their friends.
