"Are you okay?" I asked.
My eyes kept wandering around his face to see if he wasn't hurt. He sat up and moved to the wall but he wasn't comfortable.
After a while, I saw him wink in pain and moved closer to him. I was the cause of his pain, and it would be good if I took care of it.
"I am really sorry," I said blinking my eyes.
He took his hand to the back of his head and brought it out. There was blood in it and this made me nervous.
"Geez. I didn't know that it could cause this. I would clean it up..." I was saying but Abel's voice interrupted.
"You are concerned about him and not me?" He asked. "Someone who doesn't know who you are. You saw what he did to me."
Of course, I saw it, but does he think that I want to go back with him? To endure the pain that they caused me?
Jason wasn't ready to give up so he got up and pounded his hands together. Abel also got up. They both showed that they were ready to fight.
I rushed to their middle and raised my hands, "You need to stop this." But Jason refused and told me that I shouldn't interfere.
Abel mocked and told Jason that he should listen to me unless this was going to be disastrous.
Jason growl looking at me. It was only then that I discovered that he had transformed into a large wolf. It was ready to launch on Abel and that was what I didn't want.
This made me anxious and I didn't know what to do rather than move closer to him just to block him.
I knew that he could push or hit me but it's better that they don't cause trouble in the pack house. His wolf looked at me and let out a growl then looked at Abel before walking out.
Soon, he came out beautifully dressed but I didn't care. My attention was on Abel.
"What are you doing here?" I gave a stern look at Abel.
"I came for you," he said arrogantly.
"And why did you come looking for me here?" I asked and he began to laugh.
"Bella, you should come back with me," he said. "We need you."
Why won't they need me when they can bully me anyhow? He wanted me to continue enjoying the sorrows that they would cause me and I wanted peace.
"I am going nowhere with you," I said looking into his eyes. I was determined not to accept whatever he said.
"Really," he said and moved close to me while I moved back. "You must come with me."
"Leave her!" Jason said with a sense of order.
"This doesn't concern you so stay off it," Abel barked.
I saw anger rise in Jason as he moved close to Abel.
"Who do you think you are? Do you think you can just come into my pack and behave insolently?" He lashed out at Abel.
Hearing these words, Abel withdrew from holding my hand and backed off with his gaze still on Jason.
I thought of what Jason just said and I was shocked. Is he the Alpha? Gosh, the Alpha of the Dark Pilot pack is my mate?
"Whose son are you?" Jason asked.
"I am Mr. Scott's son," Abel said fidgeting. "He sent me to get his assistant."
At his word, I laughed. Assistant indeed.
When Jason turned to me to ask if it was true, I couldn't tell him the truth, so I nodded my head.
"Well, that's good, but I will tell you again that she isn't going anywhere with you," he said, turning his gaze to Abel and his team. "You should peacefully get out of this pack before you get killed. Remember to send my greetings to your father."
Abel looked at me for a minute before leaving with his men. I sighed happily although I knew it was temporary as they would carry a drastic step soon.
I wasn't happy with the turnout of events, but what could I do? They found themselves here, and I must tread with caution. I mustn't take a wrong step unless I would be done for.
Thankfully, I had Catherine by my side, but will she always be by my side, or is this temporary?
I rubbed my hand on my head and watched as people who gathered to see what was happening dispersed to their various places leaving me and Catherine alone.
"Let's go," Catherine said.
I followed her but was still shocked by the revelation of what just happened. From how they knew where I was to finding out that my mate is the Alpha. Not just an Alpha but someone that no one could thread on without getting ruined.
"What is going on in your mind?" Catherine asked.
"He is the Alpha," I said, my voice trembling.
Catherine wore a smile on her face and asked me if it disturbed me to know that my mate was the Alpha of the Dark pilot pack.
"It is something that he has been trying to hide away from you since he knows that everyone is scared of him,"
I took in a deep breath and looked at her.
"Alpha Jason," I said with a bitter smile. "Alpha of Dark pilot pack."
I looked at my finger and then at Catherine.
"Luna Bella of Dark pilot pack, the feared pack,"
Catherine sighed, holding my hand, and sat me down. I wasn't sad but it looked weird. Am I still dreaming, or is this real?
I cleared my eyes and asked Catherine if it was real or if I was just dreaming. When she replied, I got bordered.
It would have been better if I didn't know who my mate was before I escaped, but now that I know who my mate is, I fear that I could be killed if I ever planned to escape.
