ALPHA JASON'S MATE - Chapter 103: Chapter 103

Bella POV
I thought of the reason for Jason's sudden action. Why did he bring me out of the house?
Would he come to take me back?
It was really an insult to me. I followed the Omega to a hut. He wanted me to stay here, but why?
I looked around and entered the hut with my bag.
"Water?" The lady asked and I shook my head.
That wasn't my concern right now. I wanted to be left alone.
"I would be leaving right now, Luna," she said.
After she had left, I pulled out my phone and began to play a game. I looked around and saw a spot to charge my phone. This made me remember the time I used to hide in the Crescent pack and how I hid after destroying the Crescent pack.
"Maybe he wants to keep me safe," I said and nodded my head.
I thought of other things to do and smiled.
After surveying the whole area of the hut, I felt tired and decided to go for a walk. I changed my clothes and looked around. It wasn't morning so people would be out, and I doubt if anyone kidnaps in the afternoon.
What if Jason doesn't want me to go out?" I asked myself but shook my head.
He didn't give such instructions to me, so I guess I could go out.
Adjusting my wear, I sighed deeply and then walked out of the hut. I locked it with the key that was dropped behind then began to survey its environment. I didn't want to get lost so it was better that I survey around.
I walked out, swinging my hands then realized that this would be the first time that I would be alone without someone walking by my side. I squirted my eyes as I looked at the surroundings.
"I have gotten enough of the environment," I said to myself.
Thankfully, I had some money with me. I was going to buy a mask.
With that decision made, I made part of my hair fall on my face. I walked to the window and smiled when I saw that I looked like a mad person.
After so long, I stepped out and walked to the marketplace where people avoided me like a plague. I knew that it was because of how I dressed.
"I just want to buy a head mask," I said.
With a stiffened nose, people sent me to the place where they sold masks. The person who sold the mask was indifferent. He didn't behave like the other and I collected and paid for the mask.
"Get her. She mustn't escape. Take the mad fellow to our Alpha," I heard. The words were directed to me.
I ran with my super speed, cornering everyone along the road. I quickly opened the door of the hut and ran inside.
I pushed my hair back and then decided to put on the mask. I walked out with the mask after seeing that it covered my face.
"Hey, are you new to this pack?" Someone asked when we crossed paths and I was quick enough to shake my head.
"I have been here for a year," I said, increasing the tempo of my voice.
No one should suspect that I am their Luna because I don't know what would happen to me if Jason figured out that I was outside.
A thought came into my mind and I couldn't help but get myself worried. Why is it that only the clothes that I brought here were in my bag? This gave me a strange feeling.
I shook off the feeling and looked around. A while later, I saw Samantha walking with Philip. It was their lunchtime.
I began to crave Jason but I didn't want to do anything that would incur his wrath. If he wants me to stay away from him for some time, so be it.
I stood in the distance and discovered that I was hungry. I walked to a stall and ate like a hungry monster.
"What is my bill?" I asked, paid, and left.
In the evening, I looked around the hut. I thought of how it was going to be spending the night here. I wasn't sure if there were cockroaches here. Anyway, why would Jason bring me here without having this place fumigated?
I walked out gently then I saw Jason and Max walking together. I felt like running to cling my hand around Jason but I needed to stay composed.
Next, I saw Catherine and Samantha. I couldn't help but feel sad.
"Alpha Jason!" I weakly called, not enough that he would hear me but to my surprise, ahead of me, he stopped and looked back.
When I thought that our eyes met, he looked away. Maybe, he didn't see me.
I wouldn't call out to Catherine or Samantha as I understood Jason. Jason didn't want them to know about the danger he was trying to save me from and I won't be the one to let him know.
"I should go to eat," I said to myself.
I walked to a canteen and got what I needed. I felt sad so I couldn't stay out for long.
After returning to the hut, I ate and thought for a while before sleeping.
I had a dream where I was living as Mattie. Mattie ran through the woods and was haunted down by a human. This made me sad. I remembered the book that I once read in the cabin with Jason. It said nothing like my wolf died.
If Mattie was to die, then I would no longer exist. Beams of sweat started appearing on my forehead.
I sighed and wanted to sleep but couldn't sleep. It felt like the dream was going to come to pass.
"Oh goddess, do not allow Jason to hate me,"
"I think he does," Mattie said. "But he is investigating the case. Someone decided to let him know that she is Bella Carter."
This word sung deep into my heart. There were many Bella Carter so why would someone try to defame me?
