ALPHA JASON'S MATE - Chapter 105: Chapter 105

Jason POV
"Maybe I was adopted because I bear the same name as her lost daughter," Bella said, laughing.
She became quite like she was thinking of something. I knew that she was missing her mother, that is the woman who took care of her.
I held her to myself and felt tears falling from her eyes.
"I miss my mother and brother. They were everything to me,"
I used my hands to wipe her tears and told her that she had a mother.
Yes, she may have a living mother, but no one can be compared to someone who took care of you. I rocked her head.
Her weeping increased and she pulled away from me. She began to recall all her past pains both in Crescent pack and here. I felt guilty about some. I had treated her in such a way that she thought of dying.
When her weeping increased, she ran to vomit and came back holding her stomach. I thought about what could have happened and excused myself. Now, I won't hesitate to call the pack doctor.
After a series of tests were done, I saw the doctor smiling. We stepped out of the room and I couldn't help but ask what was wrong with Bella.
"Congratulations, Alpha," he said.
Looking at the doctor's expression, I could see what the doctor meant, although I wasn't sure if Bella would love to hear the news.
"Thank you, doctor," I said
I walked back into the room with a smile on my face. Bella was pregnant. I couldn't tell anyone because I didn't know what Bella wanted, but sure enough, I would let Catherine know about this.
My body felt relaxed as I sat on the bed and raised Bella's head to my lap.
"Am I alright?" She asked. "Why do I feel weak?"
I looked into her eyes and touched her cheek.
"You do not need to worry. I would just like to ask you a question."
"Hmmm,"
I smiled and held her hand. I hope she will say what I would like to hear. Her wolf was weak so was she. My gaze went to the back of her neck.
"What would you do if you were ever to get pregnant?" I asked.
"If it would save me from this, I won't have a problem. I won't have a problem if it's your child,"
I cupped her face like I was playing with a doll.
"What is it, Jason? You are making me nervous,"
"..." I didn't say anything.
"Ah, can you let me know?" Bella pleaded like a desperate child making me laugh.
"You are pregnant,"
I was expecting a shocking expression from her, but instead, she sat up, held my hands, and smiled.
"From now, I am going to be extremely careful. I will walk around with Catherine," she said. "After all, both the Alpha and Beta's mate are pregnant."
I could see the joy in her eyes. The thought of Catherine made me think if Bella would give birth to this baby or not.
Should I say that Bella should move away from Catherine? No, that would be wrong of me. Max and Catherine have been like my siblings and I was fond of them.
"Where would you like us to go this evening?" I asked.
Bella wrapped her hand around my neck and told me that she didn't want to go anywhere.
"We should stay today and tomorrow in the pack house," she said.
I was so happy that when I walked out, I ordered that soup should be made for her.
"How is Luna Bella?" Samantha asked with her face bowed.
"She is well. I have ordered that a bowl of soup be prepared and given to her," I said. "You can supervise it."
Samantha nodded and immediately left to join others in the kitchen. I bumped into the nanny who was coming down and apologized then asked about Jeff.
"He is alright," she said.
I walked with her to see Jeff playing with other children. He was happy. A smile crossed my lip as I thought of how my child would happily be glad.
"Jeff," I called.
"Alpha," he mouthed and came to me.
My decision was to take him to my Bella and, if possible, call Catherine to come along.
I raised Jeff unto my shoulder and took him to Bella. Bella was speaking with Catherine and this made me happy. I dropped Jeff by the side of Bella and told her to have fun with Catherine and Jeff.
Getting to the living room, I sat down and took in a deep breath.
"Jason!" Max called and placed his hand on my arm. "What would you like to be done to Monabella?"
I squirted my eyes immediately when I heard Monabella and then gave him a task to do.
The first thing that popped up when I opened my social media was a message from an unknown number. I knew that it couldn't be for Bella, so I didn't respond to the message or look at it.
"That's Monabella's number," Max said earning a smile from me.
Why did she message me?
"Have a little patience and answer the message," Max said.
Taking Max's idea to heart, I opened the message to see her pleading with me to come and take her with me. Max, who saw this began to laugh. She thinks she can easily fool us.
We spoke about other things and Max left.
Catherine walked out with Bella, who had a not-so-cool face. I knew that she was still recovering but since she decided to come out, I was going to make it comfortable for her.
"Come here," I called and she came to my side.
We spoke about many things and I asked if she would like to come along. It would be good if the Luna is present but considering her health crisis right now, I won't want her to come along.
"No, I won't," she replied.
