ALPHA JASON'S MATE - Chapter 106: Chapter 106

Jason POV
The next week was a time when the whole pack was busy. I decided to go out with Isabella to see Monabella. I haven't decided yet on a punishment to give her.
Ever since it was found out that Bella was pregnant, I had never allowed her off my side. Whenever I was busy, I made her stay with Catherine, and together, they always went to see Jeff. I was grateful that Jeff knew who they were and didn't consider any of them to be his mother. His mother could come anytime for him and maybe she might not.
"Am I a child?" Bella asked me one day.
I always pampered her and didn't allow anything negative on her.
Right now, we were going to visit the one who impersonated my Bella. To her, it may seem like I was guarding her just to protect her, but I made the security around her tight so that she wouldn't escape.
"We welcome Alpha Jason! We welcome Luna Bella!!" The guards greeted as we got to the door.
I raised my hand up to show my response to their greetings. The guard who was in the house announced my presence and didn't announce Bella's presence as that was what I told him to do.
As we walked in, a young lady who looked Bella's age but a little bit older ran out. She threw her hand out and looked at Bella by my side. She wanted to hug me but I made her fall.
"Take your seat," I said.
She got up and was about to take a seat by my other side, but I pointed forward.
"How old are you?"
Her gaze was on Bella, and she didn't respond to my question until I gave a huge thud on the table. She sat upright and looked at me.
I asked her the question again and I nodded to her response.
"May I know who told you that you are ?"
I watched as she took in a deep breath and then smiled.
"I had a big dream of becoming your Luna since I was young. Now that I am right to have a mate, you were the first person who came to my mind. The goddess told me that your mate would be Bella Carter. I am Bella Carter. I was adopted by Mrs. Carter who died with her son."
Tears were flowing from her face but I didn't care.
"People blamed me for killing my mother. I served at a house where the woman of the house died and I was maltreated so much that I had to run away,"
"How much have you researched?" I asked and Bella was shocked that I used the word, research.
I knew that she had researched about Isabella and added some things to her twisted story.
"I didn't research anything," she said and pointed to Bella. "I was chosen for Alpha Jason, I am Luna Monabella."
I smiled at this then got up.
Minutes later, Lisa beamed with sweat.
"If you don't tell the truth, then I will show no mercy than to exterminate your life," I said. "Who sent you?"
She didn't want to answer me but later gave in when she began to cough.
"Alpha Frederick," she said.
I released the surge of power that emanated from her and told her to raise her head. She fell on her feet and began to plead.
"I don't want to die. If I don't do his wish, I will die," she wept.
"Which is?"
"To seduce you and..." She began to fidget.
"And what? I asked. "If you do not say it, I would use force on you to spill it out."
"Kidnap or kill your Luna. If I kidnap her, you would have slept with me so there would be no need for you to fight against him because you slept with his daughter,"
The word, daughter, re-echoed in my ear. He wanted to sleep with someone who is younger than his daughter.
Here is his daughter trying to manipulate me.
Bella clapped her hands and laughed.
"Oh, you want us to allow you to do as you please so that your father would accept you,"
"Keep quiet," Lisa said.
With swiftness, I slapped her across her face. She looked at me and pleaded.
I raised her up and told her that there was nothing I could do. It's either I kill her or her father does.
Alpha Frederick wasn't a ruthless man, but he was a womanizer. From what I have heard, he takes a virgin from his pack each year and sleeps with them, but why was he seeking from another pack?
"Escort her back to her pack in the evening," I said.
Lisa tried to plead but I wasn't hearing anything. Meanwhile, my Bella was pregnant.
After my last words with the guards, I walked away with Bella. Thankfully, Bella didn't say her name or her status so Lisa considered her my sister.
We walked back to the pack house and Catherine walked to us. She was eager to know how it went so I left Bella with her while I went to meet Max, who was sitting alone.
Max showed his excitement to see me back. He asked how our meeting with Monabella went. I told him the details he was meant to know as I knew that Bella would tell Catherine everything and Catherine would let her husband know the full story.
"Alpha Frederick!" Max called then shook his head. "Is he courting death? "
This made me smile. I wasn't going to take over the pack because of this, but if he tries it again, I can't be sure not to kill all the males in his pack and make him an imbecile.
"Can we speak of other things?" I asked.
I asked him what happened when I was out of the pack house with Bella. He gave me every detail that I needed to know. I felt satisfied with all the things he said.
