Jason POV
I woke up early in the morning and placed Bella's head on my lap. She smiled and wrapped her hand around my waist but she was still sleeping.
I thought of everything that happened in the past few days. It didn't allow me to spend enough time with her. My hand brushed her cheek and I thought of making her further her education. She is my mate and has to specialize in something.
My mind went to what happened in the human world and how she chose to be a waitress. She had more within her and I wasn't going to let it be like this. My world revolves around her.
"Alpha, what are you thinking about?" She asked, and only then did I notice that she was awake.
"Nothing,"
"That's a lie,"
She got on her knees on the bed and kissed me.
"You are thinking of furthering my education," she said and I nodded. "I won't like to go out, people would regard me as only their Luna and not their status. A private tutor will do."
A smile played on her lips and I couldn't help but kiss her lip.
"I will get you one, but may I ask what you would like to major in?"
"Fashion... Drama... Dancing... Cooking..."
I knew that she was weighing everything she loved doing.
"Oh, Alpha," she sat up. "Do you want something that I can do in the human world?"
I smiled, knowing that she knew what was in my mind.
"Finance!" She said smiling. Her face looked more beautiful.
"You love finance?" I asked and she nodded.
From then I decided to get her a finance tutor.
After taking my bath, I ate and called Max into my office.
"I want Bella to study further,"
"Ever had this conversation with her?" He asked.
I told him of all that happened this morning and he smiled.
"Alright, I will get a tutor for her but in the meantime, our Luna should have a dance instructor. I have a dance instructor that I can refer to for that. She has to love dancing,"
I listened to Max as he spoke like it was going to benefit him.
"Alright, but do not let her know that it's from the Alpha. Bella would begin after she puts to birth." I said.
Max nodded his head and then walked out of the office.
Before I could do anything, I heard a knock. It was from someone that I gave a task to.
"Keep it on the table," I said.
I picked the file that was on my table and reviewed it.
My mind drifted to Bella. I thought of being with my little one. My thoughts were disturbed by a knock on the door.
"Come in," I said.
Philip came in with his right-hand man, Alex, but didn't sit. They both stood by the door looking at me.
"Come closer," I said then picked up the file that we've gotten from Patel.
"Look into each of them, and prepare for war two months from now,"
Alex collected the file. They took a bow and then left.
I picked up the file that was dropped on my table some days ago and began to read through it. I needed to deliberate with Max about this.
"Come into my office," I said into the phone. It was a call to Max.
My eyes widened when I saw him with a file.
What is this? I can't scan through another file.
He knocked on the door before entering.
"Calm down, Jason," he said, laughing at my expression.
I bit back a laughter as I showed my bitter expression.
"What's up with those file?" I asked.
"Do not worry, it's a little investigation that I am doing,"
I asked what investigation it was and he dropped the file on my table. He didn't want to bore me so he decided to do it by himself.
"I have given Philip the file gotten from Patel. He is going to look into those criminals history,"
Max nodded his head and decided to let me know about the file that he gave me. After a long, I told him about the reason I called him.
"Here is the file," I handed him the new file and he got up to leave.
"Hold on," I said.
He stopped and looked at me.
"Take the file to your office, but take three days off office duty,"
His eyes widened. I knew that he wasn't expecting this but I had to do it. After all, he is my Beta and my best friend.
"Really?" He asked and I nodded.
I would communicate every one of my decisions that have to do with war with Philip or Eta Silas. If the information has to do with any other thing, I would communicate with any of the elders, but if it can't be I would communicate it with Max as a friend, not as work.
While working on a draft, I heard Bella's laughter.
"She should either be with Samantha or Catherine," I said.
I smiled at the thought of seeing her free with me. It came to my remembrance what Bella had written when she was writing down her experience in the human world.
"She loves their lifestyle a little," I said.
Minutes later, Bella walked into my office and told me that a friend she had made in the human world was present in the pack.
Looking at her current state, I couldn't tell her to go alone so I sent someone to get Susana to the pack house.
"Isn't it risky? She would know who we are," Bella said and I shrugged.
"This is the only way you can know if Susana is really your friend. I will get done quickly and join you."
I also wanted to see Susana's reaction.
"Then she will also meet Catherine," Bella said.
I sat with my eyes on a paper but my attention was not on the paper. I thought of how Susana would behave.
It's a long time since we've seen her.
