Bella POV
The past few days have been busy for Jason, but he took time to be with me. I felt like the most happy woman on earth. Each time I thought of Catherine, my heart danced for joy, and I had only one prayer, which was that she would give birth to her child safely.
Yes, that was it. Sometimes I forget that I am also pregnant. Anyway, it could just be out of concern. I remember the day Susana left, she promised to visit another time and told me to let CEO Jason know that she wouldn't let anyone know.
"Funny," I laughed as I remembered this.
I looked at Jason's side of the bed and sniffled. He had been up early to discuss some things with Max.
The door flew open and Jason entered. He walked to me and kissed me then he placed his hand on my stomach.
"How is my baby doing?" He asked and I wore a smile.
I have started a finance class with a tutor. He took it easy with me. Maybe it's because I am his Luna or I am pregnant. Due to my mood swings, I gave him a hard time.
"Your baby is fine," I said and rubbed my hand on my stomach.
"And your classes?"
"Cool," I answered with a giggle.
Jason got up and touched my hair. My joy was the dancing class that he said that I would begin after I put to bed.
My mind drifted to Catherine. The doctor wanted her to know the gender of her child since she was already three months in, but out of fear of losing her pregnancy, she chose not to know.
"Oh goddess, why do good people need to suffer?"
It broke my heart whenever I saw Catherine in a not-so-good mood.
"What are you thinking about?" Jason asked me.
"Catherine," I said without thinking. "She has suffered a lot but still keeps a smile on her face. She even thinks of me."
Jason nodded his head and sat beside me.
"That's what friends do. They care for each other," he said.
I nodded and stared into his eyes.
"Today, Samantha would be with you and Catherine alone," he said. "You should be glad that I do not suspect her anymore."
I nodded with a smile playing on my lips. Samantha spent most of her time with Philip but saved some time for work and me. I don't know if that's how love works because mine was different.
"Alright," I said.
He held me up and we walked to the living room. Before I could sit down, someone approached him.
"Alpha, your attention is needed," he said.
Jason nodded and told him to call Samantha. I also saw Max coming down the stairs with Catherine.
The men exchanged glances and then left after Samantha came. I sighed when they left and turned to Samantha.
"Let's go to see Jeff," Samantha said and led us to his room, but neither he nor his nanny were in the room.
"They should be in the playroom," I said.
We moved to the playroom and what I saw made me smile. Jeff was acting like a teacher. We walked to sit beside his nanny who paid her respect when she saw us.
"You have done a good job," I said.
After some minutes, we left and had a light refreshment. Samantha was a bit reluctant to have it, but after I spoke with her, she took it.
"How are you doing today, Samantha?" Catherine asked.
"Cool," Samantha said and we nodded.
I would have loved to go out but since Jason was so careful, I had to make him relax. When he told me that I was pregnant, I was both confused and happy.
Thinking that I was young, I didn't want it, but when I thought of being pregnant for my mate, it made me happy, so I chose to be happy with this. After all, this is an evidence of our bond.
"Thinking of anything?" Catherine asked making me look at her.
Minutes later, we walked to the kitchen to get our meal. We could have sent Samantha to do so or asked someone to get it, but it was boring to sit alone.
We got plates for ourselves and ate then walked to the living room. Samantha sat in our middle and was lost in thought. I knew that she was probably thinking of Philip. She won't be able to go out with him today.
"Your mate is running nowhere," I said. "A day away from him won't hurt."
Hearing this made her smile. She touched my cheek and this made me remember the day we met. I also touched her cheek and held Catherine's hand.
They were both my best friend. One was the Beta's mate, while another was my personal Omega, like my personal servant.
Jeff was brought down and my heart was filled with bliss.
"Come here," I said.
I carried him on my lap and Samantha switched position with Catherine. Jeff smiled when he saw Catherine's happy gaze.
The day was fast to go down. Jason walked in with Max and we had our meal together. We left to the room.
I felt happy that the day ended well as I held onto Jason while I slept.
The following morning, I woke up and looked at the adorable face that was still on the bed. I got up, switched on the light and walked to my wardrobe.
After selecting what I would wear, I walked to the bathroom but before I could reach the bathroom, Jason held my hand.
"Why are you up this early?" He asked making me blush.
Before I could do anything or think of what to say, he pulled me down and now I sat on him. He held back my hair and kissed me. It was a passionate moment that I didn't want him to stop.
He was careful not to hit my stomach. I grabbed his chin.
