                    Bella POV
In the room, I played a little with Jayden and then fed him. I watched as he slept after being fed.
I got up and made my way to the living room after placing him in his cottage.
"Samantha!" I called.
I have entrusted Samantha the duty of taking care of my son and she has been doing a good job.
She walked into the room and nodded. She rolled his cottage out, and I threw myself on the couch.
Catherine walked to me when she was done feeding Nathan.
I deliberated on some plans with her.
"Hold on, you aren't telling me something," she said.
I shook my head as I remembered Jason's warning. I wished to tell her that I killed two bad guys when they wanted me to follow them, but I kept quiet.
"Okay, tell me what happened outside," she said and I smiled.
"Outside? What do you mean? I have told you all that happened,"
Catherine wasn't satisfied with what I told her. I knew that she didn't believe that nothing else happened. If you have been with someone for a while, you won't be able to keep some secrets but I needed to keep this secret as I was advised by my mate.
Just then I remembered that my body was still stained.
"Oh Catherine, I need to take my bath," I immediately got up.
"Why don't you tell me if you fought with someone?" She asked, and I looked at Samantha, who was also looking.
"I will tell you later," I said and walked to the room.
In the room, I sat down and thought about how I didn't take a shower. I quickly undressed and without taking anything with me, I walked into the bathroom.
After cleaning up, I walked out naked and I met Jason's back turned against me. Before I could make a fast movement, he turned to look at my body.
"Dress up," he said like an order.
I tried to stabilize myself and told myself that he didn't want me to keep looking awkward.
I was done dressing and walked to sit beside him.
"You should know more than to refuse my warning," he said with a stern voice and got up.
I was confused and held my hands together. Did I do anything wrong? Before I could run after him, he had left the room.
"He is strange," I said and looked around.
I walked to the living room and took in a deep breath.
"Now, tell me," Catherine said and I remembered the question that she asked me. I had not thought of a suitable lie to give her, so I stammered.
"Ah...I... Along with Samantha... I,"
Samantha looked like she saw nothing.
"Oh Bella, why are you stammering?" Catherine asked. "If you can't reply to me, I would ask Samantha."
I looked at Samantha who looked away.
I needed to find a lie to give her. I didn't want to put Samantha in a difficult position.
"I got injured by a table but it was quick to heal," I said.
Catherine shook her head, not buying what I said.
"Samantha, is that true?"
"Yes, it healed easily," Samantha lied.
I was happy with what she said. Catherine blamed Samantha for not protecting me and promised to tell Jason to take care of the table issue.
"No, Catherine," I said, but she had already gotten up.
I gave a thumbs up to Samantha then got up to meet Catherine.
They were having a meeting so she couldn't enter. I took in a deep breath as I remembered how Jason behaved in the room.
"He was in a rush," I said to myself.
We went to sit and Catherine drew me close to herself.
"I am fine, Catherine," I said. "Don't be hard on Samantha. She was bullied."
Samantha's eyes widened and I discovered that I was almost spilling the truth.
"Let's forget about it," I said.
I got up, and we decided to go and check on Jeff and a few children.
"Take care of Jayden," I said to Samantha before walking up.
Nathan had his own nanny. Jason wanted us to get a nanny for Jayden, but I decided that Samantha could do the job perfectly.
We walked up to the playroom. Jeff walked to us and asked for his brothers, he saw Jayden and Nathan as his brothers and always played with them whenever they were in the playroom.
For Jayden and Nathan, Nathan's nanny took care of them in the playroom.
When we got down, our children were playing with each other. I was having a class soon so I gave Samantha some instructions before going.
After the finance class, I left for the dance room and sat. The dance instructor wasn't coming today so I just wanted to practice.
Everyone that was dancing walked away to sit. I closed my eyes, and all I could see was Jason's face. With that, I began to dance.
I felt a hand hold my waist and when I opened my eyes, it was Jason. His gaze was on me like he wanted to eat me. He drew me to his body, touched my lips then we started dancing.
My heart began to beat faster and when I was tired, I laughed and clapped.
"This is a new side of you," I said.
I have never seen him dance. Oh, maybe that's why he goes to that dark house.
"I love you," I said and touched his cheek.
"I am sorry for how I spoke to you," he said and I happily hugged him.
When I looked back, there was no one in the room.
"They left immediately I came in," he said.
We walked out and Jayden smiled.
"We need to rest," Jason told Samantha then he carried Jayden while I rolled the cottage. We walked into the room and sat on the bed.
I cuddled on Jason as I asked him questions about his life before he became an Alpha.
