ALPHA JASON'S MATE - Chapter 122: Chapter 122

Jason POV
It's been a long time since I have had a moment with my mate and my child. I have been busy due to the pack work. I usually go to see the people who are training in the pack. Some of them look fragile. Today my thought was to take Bella with me to watch how they train.
I can still remember when I first met Bella. My mind was torn between rejecting her or not, but after some days, I realized that I had to keep her for Jack's sake and the pack. Here am I now, loving her so much.
"You should get done as quick as possible," I said and walked out.
She was about to pack up, I wanted us to go out together. I couldn't invite her there.
Getting out of the room, I saw Max and called him.
"Won't you like to bring Catherine along?" I asked.
He stopped and thought for a while.
"No," he said. "There is a lot of time for us to see the practice."
After he left, I saw nine-month-old Jayden run to me. I raised him and noticed that his gaze was on something or someone.
Turning to the back, I saw Bella in a breathtaking dress. With a smile on my lips, I stretched out my hands to her. She took it with pride in her eyes.
All of a sudden, she became shy. I knew it was because of people whose gaze pierced at her.
"Let's have something to eat," I whispered.
After eating, we walked out of the house to the training ground. The instructor announced our presence and I could see that they were all ready to give their training the best. Well, that's what they had done whenever I was present.
The trainer always told me that their best was always given whenever I was there to watch them so I took that as a part of my duty. I always visited the training ground frequently although I always leave before the training ends.
We were provided each a chair to watch how people trained.
"Did you ever watch people training in Crescent pack?" I asked and she laughed.
"Twice, and I couldn't train with them," she said. "Remember that you made me train here."
"Under an elder,"
"Yes, it made me know how to control my power,"
I nodded and fixed my gaze on the training field.
Jayden held onto me when the training was becoming intense and I carried him from his mother.
Minutes later, I said a few words into the trainer's ear and left with my family. I wasn't going to the pack house, but I wanted us to go somewhere, maybe to relax.
We walked into a film station and everyone paid respect. We took an ice cream and went to take our seats. A movie was showing on the screen so I found somewhere safe to stay with my family.
I didn't want anyone jumping because they saw me.
A message was shown on the screen telling everyone to be careful about how they interact. That wasn't my problem. I had told those who saw me entering to keep my presence a secret from the audience.
The movie wasn't long and everyone got up to leave. We also got up to leave but as soon as my gaze met someone, I looked at Bella.
"What's it, Jason?" Bella asked and I pointed forward.
Her mother also came to watch a movie.
"Can you give everyone extra tickets?" I asked.
They were all surprised, but when they saw that it was me, they bowed.
They were all given extra tickets, and we watched another movie, which took two hours.
After the movie, I left to settle everyone's bill. I knew that it was an avenue for the mother and daughter to bond since Bella's mother no longer stayed in the pack house.
I walked to Bella who was discussing with her mother.
"You should come to the pack house," I said to Bella's mother. You would be able to spend time with Jayden."
After I had spoken, Bella waved to her mother while I raised Jayden to my arms. He was sleeping.
Getting to the pack house, Max walked up to me.
"Oh, you are back. I have been trying to call you,"
This made me take out my phone and I saw his call.
"After leaving the training ground, I went with my family to watch a movie.," I explained. "Did anything go wrong?"
"It isn't much but just come,"
I followed him to his office and saw as he scrolled through his tab and then showed me a message. The message showed two bodies then the date of their death was included. I realized that it was the day Bella came back smelling of blood.
"Hold on," I said to Max.
After calling Bella into Max's office, I showed her the image.
"Have you seen them?" I asked.
"Yes," she replied. "They were planning to kidnap me when I killed them."
She rolled her eyes at me.
"I have told you," she said in a whisper.
Max smiled and raised his hand.
"Good." He said then covered his mouth. "Sorry."
His eyes danced with sorrow.
"We are under attack. Bella should be protected,"
I looked at Bella, who had her gaze lowered.
"I'm sorry."
"There is no need to feel sorry. You just need to protect yourself," I said.
After Bella left, I began to discuss how well Bella should be protected and how best it would be if the pack and pack house were protected. The attacker may be in the pack, so we need to protect the pack house, and if he is in the pack house, we need to protect Bella.
"Alright, Jason,"
"Thanks, brother,"
We walked out of the office and I walked to the room. After changing, I walked to the window and stared out of it.
"Oh goddess, our protection is nothing if you do not protect us," I said.
If they aren't aiming to attack Bella then our protection would be vain.
