Bella POV
I couldn't help but smile whenever I remembered how I jumped on Jason when I saw Dingo. Thankfully, I was not heavy for him to carry.
While I settled down to do the task that was given to me, Mattie told me to tell Jason to go to the training ground.
"Oh Mattie, for what reason?" I asked.
"Something bad is about to happen and you must let him know," that was all she said to me.
I bit my lip and decided to send him a text message. Then I thought of calling him because he might not see my message, but before I could call him, he already responded.
"Alright, I will," he responded.
A smile formed on my lips as I looked at Samantha.
"If Mattie tells you that then it's true," Samantha said when I was done with the call.
After working on the files for an hour, I felt the need to relax since I had completed everything. It was like new people were told to come into the pack.
"Let's go out for a while," I told Samantha after hiding the files.
"Aren't we going with Catherine?" Samantha asked.
I shook my head knowing fully well that Catherine was busy.
Samantha suggested that we first check on Jayden and Nathan before going out. Nathan's nanny was with them.
After staying a while with the children, we decided to leave but while walking out of the house, we met Catherine by the way.
She greeted me and Samantha then suggested that we wait for her.
Minutes later, we were out of the pack house and walked to the field. Catherine told us stories both fun and all.
We laughed together and continued walking.
"Have you seen the barrel festival?" I asked Samantha knowing fully well how she busied herself working. I would like her to participate.
"No, I haven't," she said.
I nodded and told her that the festival was coming soon and I would like her to attend.
"I am an Omega," she said.
"It doesn't stop you from enjoying," Catherine said and this made me laugh.
We kept discussing things randomly as we walked.
At a distance, I saw people gathering. It looked like they were just coming into the pack, so I asked Mattie, who only told me to be careful with them.
"Good day, ma," one of them greeted Catherine. "Can you show us the way to the pack house?"
Catherine asked who they were.
"Sent here by your pack Alpha," I said and she nodded.
"How do you know?" She asked.
"I just checked your files,"
"Hmmm," she nodded still looking at me.
I knew the reason she looked at me like that. I should be her age mate so she thought Catherine should be the Luna or elder one.
"Can we know the pack house?" The lady asked Catherine again.
"Pay some respect," Catherine said and the lady greeted her, but she shook her head and pointed to me. "To our Luna."
The people all looked at me and gasped.
"What did you say? This young lady?"
Samantha was about to speak to them when I raised my hand up. There was no need to argue with them because very soon they would know. Moreover, Mattie told me to be careful, and they weren't rogues.
"Go forward then ask whoever you see for the pack house," I said.
"Too much pride," I heard a lady say as they left.
"Bella!" Samantha called but I didn't respond to her. We walked around a spot and then sat down to speak.
"Bella, why didn't you teach them a lesson?" Samantha asked.
"Do not worry about that; they will know who I am soon," I said.
We waited for some minutes then left to explore. It's boring whenever you aren't doing anything so we chose to go to the training ground.
A few hours later, we decided to go back home. I saw the students sitting but chose not to speak. I would speak when I am with Jason.
I left to the room after a few words with Samantha and Catherine. My phone rang immediately I got to the room and a smile appeared on my face as I saw that it was Jason.
"Come into my office with the files," he said.
I located the place where I kept the files and took them out. While I was carrying it, I saw the students look at me, and the lady who said that I had pride smiled.
Ignoring it, I walked into Jason's office.
"Take your seat," he said pointing to the chair in his front. "Tomorrow, the students will be introduced, but I would like them to know who you are."
"No...Ah..." I wanted to speak against introducing myself.
Jason noticed how uncomfortable I was and told me to relax before speaking.
"You should introduce me to them tomorrow," I said.
"Alright," he said. "Tell Jordan to take them to the pack house."
I nodded and left his office. The sight that welcomed me to the living room was annoying. I felt like strangling the lady but I would wait till tomorrow.
I walked to Jordan and told him just as Jason told me. After the children left, I felt relieved.
"I should check on Jeff, Nathan, and Jayden," I said to myself.
Immediately I stepped my foot into the playroom, Jayden walked to me.
I smiled when I saw Catherine in the room.
We left the room, and Catherine asked me if I had already shown the students that I was Luna Bella.
"They would know later," I said.
In the evening, Jason carried Jayden and asked that we go out together.
"Alright," I said.
We left to get some ice cream and also got for Jayden.
We left for the pack house immediately after getting ourselves ice cream and had dinner before going to bed.
In my mind flashed the image of that one rude girl. She should be thankful to Mattie.
