                    Jason POV
Waking up early in the morning, I looked at the other side of the bed and didn't see Bella.
"Bella!" I called softly but there was no response.
I got up from the bed to check the bathroom but she wasn't there. It was clear that Bella had taken her bath due to the wet bathroom.
After undressing myself, I walked out to find Bella with Jayden. Jayden ran into my hands, and I raised him to his feet while Samantha walked in with a small plate, which she handed to Bella.
"Good morning, Alpha," Samantha said.
I sent Jayden back to his mother as I felt Bella wanted to feed him.
"Have you eaten?" I asked Bella who was feeding Jayden and she shook her head.
"I want us to eat together," Bella said.
I smiled and touched her hair.
After feeding Jayden, we left him with Samantha and left to eat. Before we could eat, we saw Max and Catherine walking toward us, so we waited for the couples, and then we left to eat together.
When we were done eating, I remembered something when a Gamma passed.
"Where is your mother?" I asked Bella as I remembered that I sent people to look for her.
Bella took a deep breath and looked around.
"I haven't seen her," she said.
I got up from the chair and told Bella that I would be right back and walked to one of the people that I sent to look for her.
"We couldn't enter the house as it was filled with Dark fog,"
"Dark fog," I said.
I nodded my head and told him to gather as many as possible people to follow us.
"Alpha!" He called but I waved my hand afterall, I knew that he was concerned about me knowing fully well that I was going to enter the house.
I gave him thirty minutes to gather whoever he wanted to follow him except Philip and Alex, who had been working like their life depended on the pack.
I walked to Bella and gave her a peck.
"What did he say happened to my mother or where is she?" She inquired and I touched her hair.
"They couldn't enter the house because it was filled with dark fog," I said.
"What would we do?" Bella asked.
"We are going to the house to see what we can do,"
"We?" She asked and I shook my head.
"I am going with some warriors," I said.
She nodded her head and wished me luck. I decided that while we were going to the house, I would tell them to drive to the asylum so that I could return the handkerchief to Manuel and have a word or two with him.
"No," I shook my head.
That would be a delay. What if the woman dies?
I changed my mind and thought of what to do.
"We would go to Bella's mother's house and take her away from there, then go to see Manuel," I said, folding my hands.
If anything happens and we spend the whole day at her house, then we would look to go to the asylum tomorrow.
Thirty minutes later, Bella sat on the bed and watched as I wore a new watch.
"Jason!" She called. "If it's too difficult, let it be."
I smiled and tapped her cheek.
Nothing has been too difficult for me except the fear of losing her.
"It's alright," I said. "I will be back soon."
Without looking at her, I walked out of the room. If I was to look at her, I might maybe abandon the mission.
"Max would get the necessary informations to you," I said with my back turned against her.
"Alright, I will be in your office," she said and I walked to the gathered warriors.
They were more than the car could carry, and I knew the reason they all came, and that was for my protection.
"Let's use the truck," I said.
We got to Bella's mother's house before long as the road was cleared.
I got down from the truck with the warriors. Some decided to follow me in while some stayed outside.
A wolf sound was heard and I took in a deep breath as we entered into the foggy house. As we entered, all we could see was dark smoke, and the sound of a wolf.
"Alpha, how can we get through?" One of them asked and I told them to wait for me.
"We can't allow you to enter alone," one of them said.
I wanted to enter alone, change to my wolf, and go in since there were only two rooms.
"It's my order," I said.
Myar opened his mouth to speak but when he looked at my stern face, he kept quiet.
I walked into the smoke, pulled out my clothes, got down, let out a loud growl, and then transformed into Jack.
A few minutes later, I ran into a room and saw a wolf by the side of a woman. It was Bella's mother and the wolf was shielding her.
It launched its attack, but with my trick, I overpowered it. Let me say that Jack overpowered it.
Jack walked to the woman and raised her up. He came out of the smoke and placed the woman down.
Without looking at the warriors, he went back in and transformed into me. I began to cough as I wore my clothes.
"Alpha Jason!" I heard as I walked out of the smoke.
"Carry her out," I said and they nodded.
I let out a cough and two warriors got me a bottle of water.
"Take her to the pack house but drop me by the asylum," I said.
"No, Alpha, we would accompany you there after dropping her," one of them said.
I took in a deep breath and nodded.
After all, they were looking out for me.
The journey wasn't as smooth as when we were coming as people were on the road.
We got to the pack house and I ordered two of the warriors to take her in.
