ALPHA JASON'S MATE - Chapter 145: Chapter 145

Jason POV
Alpha Audra had to leave after a phone call and said it was urgent for him to leave.
I walked to Bella who had her head up.
"Jayden has a lot to give you," I said and sat down.
Jayden walked to me and I placed him on my lap.
"Always remember that Jayden and I would never leave you," I said giving Bella an assuring smile.
Hours later, I looked at my watch and sighed.
"I would need to leave now," I said and she nodded. "I would be back two weeks later to check on you."
Jayden was stubborn and didn't want to leave his mother, but I raised him to his feet. We needed to go to the guest house so that we would catch enough rest before going home the next day.
Ignoring his tears, I pulled him along with me and put him to sit beside me in the car.
I drove to the guest house and could see Alpha Audra waiting for me.
"Alpha Audra," I called walking close to him.
We exchanged a handshake and went into the house together.
After feeding Jayden, I put him to sleep and walked to Alpha Audra.
I sat on the couch and called to Alpha Audra. I knew that he had a request.
"I am glad that the Luna's health is improving," he said with his head bowed. "I have a request."
I nodded as I thought of the same.
"What request is it?"
"We need money for some infrastructural building," he said. "That I can provide."
I nodded knowing that he couldn't say what he wanted easily.
"Alpha Jason!" He called. "We do not have the relevant equipment and enough people to do this."
I smiled with a twisted lip.
"I request that you send able men from the packs that are under your district to help us," he said.
I got up to my feet and looked around.
"Are you ready to do what I need to get what you want?" I asked.
"If it's within my capability," he said, also getting up, and I smiled.
"How many days would the project be?" I asked.
"Half of a year," he said.
I sighed listening to him.
"My request is simple. Bella must be better before then unless I would stop your project and future projects," I said with a harsh tone.
"Do not worry, Alpha, that's sure," he said affirmatively and I was proud of that.
We had a little discussion and promised that Bella's treatment would go fine. He left the guest house and I retired to bed.
Before sleeping, I took out my phone and discovered that I had three missed calls from Max and a message from him. I read the message and smiled.
When I turned to go to sleep beside Jayden, Jack told me to return a call to Max.
It rang for a minute before Max answered it. He asked about Bella while I asked about the pack.
We spoke about other things and then ended the call.
I put away the phone, adjusted the cover on Jayden's body then laid to sleep.
The next day, I woke up with a smile on my face and took Jayden to watch up. The young boy was stubborn but whenever he looked at me, he no longer proved stubborn.
After dressing him up, I had my bath and dressed myself before going to eat.
We walked out with the little bag that I brought with me for a change of clothes. I met Alpha Audra speaking with a man.
"Where is Luna Safari?" I asked.
Alpha Audra quickly got up with the man before him.
"Safari is busy," he said. Since there was no need to interfere in couples' matters, I allowed it to slide.
"Would you like to see Luna Bella before leaving?" He asked and I nodded.
He entered his car while I entered mine.
Jason held his mother's hand like his life depends on it.
I waited for a moment with them then left with Jason. At the counter, I heard Alpha Audra say something about beginning the Luna's operation.
We left the hospital together and spoke for some minutes.
"I would send able men to you," I said and he smiled. I walked with Jayden into the car and we left.
On the way to Dark Pilot Pack, I looked at the leaves and various plantations that the car passed through.
Six hours later, we got to the pack and I packed the car and stepped out. Our water had finished and I felt that Jayden was tasty.
I drew him up and looked around. There was no shop, stall, or store nearby.
"Alpha Jason, welcome back," I heard.
Jack told me to ask the lady to get me some water.
To my surprise, her house was nearby.
She gave Jayden a little water, and I was happy. I thanked her and then got into the car with Jayden.
While I was driving, Jayden pointed to things that he liked. I stopped the car when we were close to the marketplace and called for a lady who was shocked when she saw me.
I gave her some amount and told her to get some sweets for me. She tried to refuse the money but I didn't accept.
"You can use your money to get it, but keep this with you,"
She agreed and went to get the sweets. I was driving so I guess that added to her shock.
After getting the sweets from her, I blessed her before driving off.
I had to go urgently to Bella yesterday so I couldn't take my mask with me.
Taking a deep breath, I navigated and moved forward.
Getting to the pack house, Nathan rushed to hug Jayden and together they walked to the nanny.
Max welcomed me back and called me to sit on the couch.
"Welcome back, Jason," Catherine said and I smiled.
"Rest a bit," Max said and I nodded.
