ALPHA JASON'S MATE - Chapter 147: Chapter 147

Bella POV
The operation was successful and I could now speak. Alpha Audra wanted to call Jason but I chose that he doesn't.
I could also move freely.
I got out of bed to use the bathroom and smiled as I remembered what happened before. It came to my remembrance how I used to tap my finger if I wanted to relieve myself, but now I could move.
While I was thinking, the room door opened.
"Luna Bella, I was told to give you this by Alpha Audra," the nurse said and I nodded my head.
I took the letter and tore it open. The letter was from Jason who said that he would be coming the next day.
"Thank you," I said.
It's been two weeks since Jason was last here with our son, Jayden. I thought of how happy he would be if he saw me like this.
"Jason!" I silently called.
My discharge would be tomorrow. Alpha Audra planned to work on my discharge tomorrow but now I felt that there was no need. Jason should work on my discharge.
I walked to the bed, sat down, and took my phone, which lay on the table. I haven't been online since that incident happened neither had I gone online when I became better, but now I think that it's the right time to go online.
"Jason is going to be surprised if he notices that I am online,"
I picked up my phone and went online. The first thing that I saw was Catherine's message.
She was sad that she caused what happened to me and blamed herself.
With a smile on my face, I remembered how she didn't speak to me and how I promised to never forgive her if anything happens to me.
Without hesitation, I responded by telling her that it was all in the past and to forgive is divine.
"Forgiving you is part of my healing process," I wrote.
After texting her, I stared at my phone and smiled, thinking of how she would feel when she saw my message and how she would tell Jason that I texted her.
Before five minutes, my phone beeped. It was a notification that I had received a message. It was Catherine's message. She sent a voice message asking if I was better.
I thought of using text to reply her but since I couldn't hold my joy, I decided to use voice message to reply her. I knew that she was going to tell Jason and it wouldn't be a surprise anymore.
""I am better. I can now do everything normally," I said.
Within five minutes, I received a voice message from Catherine of her screaming with joy.
It was too loud. There was a knock on the door and I allowed the person in. It was the lady whom the doctor always allowed to keep me company.
"How are you doing, my dear, Bella?" She asked and I nodded.
She always called me, Bella, because I insisted that she should.
"I'm fine," I replied.
"You will be discharged tomorrow, and I will miss my cute Luna's face," she said, making me laugh. "I hope that you won't forget Gemini pack when you get back to your pack."
I smiled and held her cheek.
"I won't," I said and saw Catherine's message as I looked at my phone.
It seems like you are busy," she said and I shook my head.
"It's just a message," I said.
After replying to Catherine's message, I asked for Lucia's phone number and recorded it.
We kept discussing and she was called for something.
"You should go," I said.
Immediately after she left, my phone began to ring; it was Jason's call. My heart swelled with joy and I did know how to answer it.
How fast did Catherine tell him about me?
Mistakenly, I answered the call but couldn't help but feel happy about it. I was shy to speak to him.
I wanted to hold him and hug him. I wanted to tell him that the treatment made my wolf stronger.
"Are you there?" He asked as I didn't reply.
Fearing that he would end the call, I replied.
"Bella!" He called with a sweet voice. "I am happy to hear your voice."
A smile crossed my face.
"Always remember that I love you, and I promise never to be hard on you,"
With a shy smile playing on my lips, I could only say the three words, 'I love you '
"I love you too," he said.
The way he said it made emotion run through my body that I didn't know when I cut the call. He called me back and I told him of how I wanted to kiss and hug him.
"You can do that tomorrow," he said...
"You are coming with Jayden?"
"No, I am coming alone," he said.
I felt so happy that I wanted to jump for joy.
Lucia walked in and sat while the call continued.
"I can see that you are so excited," she said after I dropped the call and sighed. "May I ask who it was?"
"J...," out of excitement, I almost blurted the name, Jason, instead of Alpha Jason. Since Jason didn't tell her to call him by his name, as I did, it would be an offense to call him that in her presence.
"Alpha Jason!" I said and she nodded.
I was given a plate containing custard and I collected it. After taking the custard, I drank some water and rested a bit.
Lucia took the plate out and returned.
"How are you feeling, Bella?"
"I am feeling better," I said.
She walked out of the room leaving me to rest for some minutes.
I sat up and took my phone.
Scrolling through the internet, I saw so many lovely pictures, and I thought of how my days would be when I was 21 years old.
"Your wolf is now stronger," I remembered the doctor saying to me. I could also feel that Mattie is now stronger.
