Bella POV
Whenever I looked back to see what happened to me before, I always appreciated the goddess for preserving me. My love for Jason has increased and I could only say that I captivated the feared Alpha's heart.
It was my 21st birthday ceremony. Jason planned to celebrate it in a grand way.
Nathan and Jayden ran about the house, and I couldn't help but smile as I looked at these young children. Jeff served as their elder brother and wasn't disturbed about not knowing who his parents were.
I walked around and looked at the beautiful decorations that were on the walls. The pack house had been decorated.
Jason walked to me and gave me a dress.
"Change into this, and come down," he said.
I nodded and went to change into the dress given to me. By the time, I got out, leathery papers fell on me.
"Oh," I smiled.
It should be part of Jason's surprise.
People who were out of the door wished me a happy birthday. Jason walked to my side and held me. We took pictures together and then Jayden joined us.
The music began to play and Jason walked me to the living room.
"Can I dance with you?" He asked and I nodded.
He stretched forth his hand and I held it. His free hand found its way to my waist, and mine held his other arm. We started moving along with the beat of the music.
We started dancing slowly, and I looked into the eyes of the twenty-nine-year-old man who was with me. He was my rock, my everything. I could help the pack with any battle with him by my side.
Yes, he was quite older than me, and I felt sad when I knew that my mate was this older than me, but what could I do? The moon goddess gave me the best gift that I could ever asked for.
My hand left his arm and went to his chest. He made a gasp as my hand started lowering his body.
I took my hand to his shoulder and we continued dancing.
The music stopped and Catherine walked to me and took me to a high chair.
"You look more beautiful," she said and I smiled.
They all stood like someone was coming to grace the occasion.
Soon, the door opened, and two women walked in, and then the door closed. I looked at their attires and couldn't help but smile. When I looked up, my mouth opened.
"Luna Safari!" I exclaimed.
It was Luna Safari of Gemini pack. She sent flowers to me every year and letters that I couldn't easily forget her.
"Yes, my princess," she said and looked around.
Her eyes widened as she looked at someone and then at me. I discovered that she was looking at my mother.
"We look alike," I said. "She is my mother."
"Oh!" She smiled and I nodded.
Luna Safari showered me with blessings and gifts.
"Happy birthday. Twenty-one looks good on you,"
She tapped my cheek like she always did before.
The celebration continued, and I smiled, seeing how the children raced. We left the pack house with Luna Safari, Cassandra, and a few others to bless people along the way.
Jason held my hand firmly while we walked. People who saw us continued blessing us.
"Glory be to the Luna!"
After some hours, we returned to the pack house although we weren't able to completely walk around the pack.
The table was set, and everyone who followed us out was served.
Jason, Max, Catherine, Luna Safari, Cassandra, and I sat around a table. I sat beside Jason, Catherine sat beside Max and Cassandra sat beside Luna Safari.
Luna Safari was told to bless our meal as she was the oldest. She did, and we all contemplated who would take the first spoon. Since Alpha Audra wasn't here and Luna Safari was a female, Jason had the first spoon.
We ate till we were full then I was made to change my dress into a new gown that Jason got for me. I walked down with a smile on my face and saw that Luna Safari wanted to take a picture of me but immediately stopped her.
After telling her about the pack's rule, she met with Jason who gave her his permission to take one to three pictures of me.
She took two pictures of me and promised to send the framed picture to me.
"Alright, that will be nice," I said.
As evening approached, the ceremony ended and I walked to the room to take off my makeup.
Jason walked to me and hugged me from behind. I stood still sniffing his breath.
"You are perfect," he said then sat me down. "I would help you with this."
He helped me to remove the makeup and sent me to wash my face. I left to do as he said.
"Luna Safari would like to see you before going to the guest house," he said and I nodded.
I left the room to the living room, where I saw her with Cassandra.
"Hi, Luna Bella," she said and told me to take my seat.
She spoke to me about how I handled things and blessed me again.
I was so amazed at this that I asked Mattie for the reason I am so much love like this.
We spoke for some minutes then she left with Cassandra. They were escorted to the guest house.
Samantha and Catherine walked to me, and we had a little discussion before leaving for the dinner table.
We ate and then retired with our mates to our various rooms.
The following morning, we walked to the guest house after we were informed that the two special guests had taken their meal.
I held onto Catherine as Max, and Jason spoke with Luna Safari.
They entered the car that they came with and we waved to them. After their car couldn't be seen anymore, we went to the pack house.
