                    Bella POV
I was awakened by a shout.
"You should wake up," I heard someone shout. "Darling, get up."
I struggled to open my eyes but couldn't.
"My eyes feels heavy," I said.
"Where am I?" I asked remembering that I escaped Dark pilot pack.
It wasn't until someone poured water on me that my eyes opened. I sat up and looked everywhere. The place was new to me.
I met the gaze of strange people and remembered that my face was covered when I left the pack. Could this be part of Paula's plan?
"Who are you and what do you want from me?" I asked moving back.
"You came to our pack yet you are asking this question," a voice said.
I didn't utter a word but looked at all of them. A woman walked to my front and placed her hand on my face.
"Young lady, don't be scared," she said.
The people behind me laughed pointing fingers at me. This made me confused but the woman's gaze made me feel calm.
"Why did you come here?" She asked.
"E... Escape. I... escaped," I said.
They all gave me a stern look. I knew that I was a rogue, but if anyone wanted to fight with me, I wouldn't allow them to win so easily.
"Where am I?" I asked.
"Oak pack," the woman said.
I blinked repeatedly thinking of what I just heard. It was slightly similar to Dark pilot pack but I heard that their Alpha isn't cold.
This is all thanks to Paula. She wanted me to leave the pack and I did as she wanted without considering anything.
"The Alpha is here," someone said.
The woman got up and they all moved aside.
A man walked to me. He was a little bit older than Jason; he looked at me and then sat on a chair that was drawn to him.
"What made you escape?" He asked me.
His gaze was intense so I felt uneasy.
"I... I..." I startled and he laughed.
"From being a rogue, you came here, but why?" He asked.
"I wasn't accepted," I cried out.
Without saying a word, he got up and left the room. This made me stare at everyone in the room. I felt like running out of here as their gazes at me were intense.
"The Alpha wants you to wear this," someone said giving me a dress.
The dress was old and it looked like a maid dress. I sighed and shook my head. Why should I live as a maid?
The people murmured, seeing that I rejected the dress, and the woman who had spoken to me properly walked to me.
"My daughter, you should put it on if you want to live peacefully," she said.
Live peacefully? Why?
When I was about to speak, the woman stood up.
I got dressed in the old garment that made me look like an old maid. I was led to the Alpha, and I met with his not-so-good face. She was made to kneel and the Alpha smiled.
"This is the only way for you to stay here," he said. "No one tempers with Alpha Jason and goes scot-free. No rogue escapes his pack and lives happily. They endanger any pack they enter."
Realizing the words he spoke, my heart felt heavy.
"But I was kidnapped," I said.
"The only way you can compensate us is by dying or being a maid," he said.
At the end of his speech, my mouth flew open. I knew that Jason was feared, but why would he trouble a pack because of a rogue? What would he do now that his unwanted mate escaped?
"I would leave this place," I said holding the hem of my old garment.
The Alpha sat in a relaxed form like he didn't care, but the next world, he said, made me stop.
"You shouldn't move," he said. "Do not cause trouble for any other pack. We aren't going to kill you so don't stress us anymore."
I blinked and nodded.
"Thank you, Alpha," I said. It was a honor for the Alpha to do that whereas my mate doesn't think about me.
I was led to a room. It was poorly furnished and had three beds so I won't be the only one here.
Pulling my bag, I entered the room and sat.
"There won't be need for your luggage," A lady who was standing at the end of the room said.
"Why is that?" I asked.
She didn't reply but looking at her, I sighed deeply; she was also dressed like me. I am not going to stay here forever, there would be a way to escape.
I sat on the bed while the lady walked to me.
"I know that you may not want to be here or you may want to escape from here," she said. "Don't think of that. The Alpha won't make life difficult for you if you don't make it difficult for him."
I didn't know what to say.
"What is your name?" I asked.
"It's not important," she said.
A woman walked in wearing a smile on her face. She wore a beautiful gown, and her face glowed, showing her beauty.
The lady beside me showed her respect and I guessed that she is the Luna. I also paid my respect to the woman.
"I am Luna Maria," she said raising my chin up. "Young lady, what is your name?"
"Bella," I said and she nodded.
She didn't say a word again but left.
"They are all weird," I said stamping her feet.
I walked to the bed and had my sit.
"Why is it that they do not keep speaking with me?" I asked.
The lady looked at me with a smile on her face.
"Your body radiates power," she said.
I wanted to ask her what type of power she meant but seeing that it was my first time meeting her, I didn't say much.
