Bella POV
Waking up in the morning felt blessed for me. It's been two years I have been staying here. Alpha Jason had been visiting the room occasionally but I felt it was just for me to get used to him.
"Good morning," I heard and looked up. It was Catherine.
"Good morning," I said with a smile on my face.
She walked in with a tray and requested that I eat but I refused.
"I will be back," I said and left the room. I walked to the terrace and looked out.
The buildings were beautiful and I walked out. A cat ran past me, and I rushed to pick it. Soon, it was out of my way and I looked around. Only then did I notice that I was far away from home.
"I should go home," I said and looked around to see if I could find the cat.
Before I could look up, I was covered with a cloth. I tried to struggle but it wasn't enough.
Hours later, I opened my eyes to see an unfamiliar room. This made me remember the last time I was kidnapped.
"Where am I?" I asked seeing that no one was near.
After screaming for some minutes, I breathed in deeply and got up. There should be a way of escape.
I got up and shouted but still no one came in so I began to look for a way to escape.
Soon, the door flew open, and I shivered as a man walked in with a lady.
"Ah ah ah," the man laughed and sent the lady out. "It's good that we got you and without struggle."
I gritted my teeth and wanted to struggle with the man but wait; I should know where I was.
"Can I at least know where I am?" I asked.
"Red Bull Pack," he answered. "I am Alpha Gideon."
My eyes widened as I looked heard him. My breath hitched and I held my hands. Next to Built High Pack, they were also ruthless.
"We were paid handsomely for you," he said.
My heart began to ache.
"By who?" I asked.
Instead of answering, he began to laugh and pushed me to the ground.
"You should be happy that you are here," he said.
"How do you mean?" I asked. I wanted to shout but I needed to respect him as the Alpha.
He looked at me then turned back.
"It's no wonder your mate doesn't want you. You may be a spotless and defending wolf but you are weak," he said.
His words made me angry but I had to hold it in.
"You look amazing," he said moving close to me. My eyes traveled to his raised hand.
"Don't touch me," I said moving back.
Without a word, Alpha Gideon touched my cheek.
It was irritating to me. He was flirting and I wish Jason could be here.
"I wish you could be mine, but never mind, the one who paid me to get you doesn't want us to touch or harm you," he said.
He got up and looked at me with a smirk then walked to the door.
I frowned after he had left, thinking of the training I had received in Built High Pack, it looked useless. Why couldn't I fight back? I couldn't protect myself. Such a worthless person, how would Alpha Jason like me? He is better with Paula.
My eyes felt weak as tears began to flow down from my eyes. I began to think of how pathetic I was.
I closed my eyes and began to think of how blissful it would be if I used my power, but no, I couldn't use it. Not here. I need to know the person who paid the Alpha for this.
The worst part of this is that I was kidnapped in the morning. At a time when everyone was just getting up so I doubt if anyone knows that I have been kidnapped and if they do, will they care?
Apart from Catherine, no one really cared for me in the pack, not even my mate.
"I'm very sure that Paula orchestrated this kidnap," I said thinking of how I have been seeing her being clingy to Jason.
"He loves her but wants to use me for his pack. How selfish is that?" I said irritatedly.
I remembered what happened in the kitchen when I first escaped Built High Pack. She made everyone believe that I was trying to be the Luna. Everyone has been looking at me like I was a bad person who was trying to compete for the Alpha with her. So bad of her.
"I can't keep thinking of this," I told myself.
Instead of thinking of the past, I should think of a way to get out of here without anyone noticing.
Looking around the room, I searched for a possible way of escape but saw nothing. There was a little opening on top of the wall but it was high and brought a little light into the room.
Not wanting to give up, I looked at the door, but there was no inner handle, only an outer handle. I let out a sigh but knew that I couldn't easily accept defeat even when there was no way of escape.
Relaxing, I folded my hands and stared at the wall. I didn't know if it was still morning or it was noon. I felt suffocated in here. The only person I could talk to now was Mattie, my wolf. She has been quiet all through and I wondered why.
"I am sorry for going out without anyone by my side," I said to Mattie but didn't receive a response.
I frowned at this and called her name.
"Mattie," I called.
Still, there was no response, and this got me worried. Have I done anything wrong?
"Mattie!" I called. I was desperate to know the reason my wolf wasn't responding.
I called her again with my heart beating fast.
