Bella POV
We immediately began to clean the room. There was a knock on the door and I knew that it was Tuberculosis.
"Let's continue," Samantha said as we picked up the clothes that littered the ground.
My gaze went to the phone and I sighed. If there was any number that I had memorized during my stay in the Dark pilot pack, it was Catherine's number.
Without wasting any more time, I sprout to the phone, leaving Samantha to clean the mess. I dialed Catherine's number and she picked it up immediately.
"Hello, this is Bella, Bella Carter, ," I said.
Catherine showed her happiness and asked me where I was but I didn't answer her. I told her to track the phone IP and that I was in a dangerous situation. Without waiting for her to speak, I turned off the call and went to join Samantha.
I prayed in my heart that they would quickly send help and not delay.
Samantha urged me to open the door while she went to hide.
Immediately I opened the door, Tuberculosis asked me for the reason Jason left looking like a mad fellow.
I suppressed my laughter and lied that Jason said he didn't like me anymore after he had his way with me. Tuberculosis rolled his eyes, and I prayed that he wouldn't see through my lie.
"And his clothes?" Tuberculosis asked.
I pointed to the basket we had kept his clothes and Tuberculosis sighed.
"A useless, shy man," he said, hitting his fist on the wall.
After he left, I closed the door and let out the laughter that I had suppressed.
Samantha walked out from where she was hiding and when I told her everything, she laughed.
"I need to go out before he suspects anything," she said and I nodded.
After she had left, I looked at the phone that was on the table and was about to pick it up when I heard a footstep outside the door.
The door was pushed open and Tuberculosis entered. He told me to give him the phone that was on the table. I felt a pain pang in my heart but did as he said.
"You should be good," he said and looked at his watch. "In the next two hours, you should go out."
I understood what he meant; I should go stealing. I nodded and he left the room.
My thoughts went to how anyone from the Dark Pilot pack would recognize me since I was invincible.
"I should speak to Salmonella," I said.
Getting out of the room, I saw Samantha between two women cutting some vegetables and hurried to their front. I pleaded for some minutes with Salmonella.
The women looked at each other before nodding.
I walked away with Samantha and laid down my question. My question made her move back.
"It's a process," she said and pulled me with her.
We got to her room and she began to explain the process. It was a risky process, but I could choose whether to be invincible or a human, but once I stay as a human for ten minutes, then I would never be able to turn invincible, and if I am to be caught by Tuberculosis, then I would die.
I was ready to do it even if it meant that I would die; I would die while trying to escape.
"Would you be ready to take the risk?" Samantha asked and I nodded.
"I am also ready," she said and I was shocked.
Is she also an Alpha female?
It felt like she heard my thoughts. She told me that she wasn't an Alpha female but an Omega. This is the only option we had.
I nodded and we separated. I wasn't going through the process now. There was still a need for me to steal.
I retreated and walked out of the building. There was a tempting live chicken in the marketplace. I looked around to see if no one had their attention on it.
After a while, I went to steal it. The chicken cried but I ignored it completely. I went to get other things that caught my eye, then walked away.
Tuberculosis praised me and told me to take two days rest. I went to meet Samantha who was happy that I would be at home the next day with her. It would be her second day off in the week, while it was going to be my first day off.
"We will do the ritual tomorrow," Samantha said, and I nodded.
We played some video games together before I felt the need to rest.
I saw the bad look that she had and when I asked her for the reason for her mood change, she hugged me.
"What if my mate gets to know that I have been sexualized?" She was telling the truth, and I felt weak.
She doesn't know her mate.
"Do you think we should wait for the Alpha female?" I asked and she sighed.
"Destined to come here next year," she said and I looked on.
If we were to wait for the Alpha female, it would take a year but I didn't know about Catherine.
What can she be doing now?
"I hope she won't call that number.
I held onto Samantha, and we kept discussing, only to stop when we wanted to walk out.
Tuberculosis, who I know his name to be Manuel, dragged Samantha and licked her face. So disgusting.
It's been a week here but I felt disgusted. It felt like life was out of me and Samantha was the only one pushing me forward.
The reason I didn't care about the risky ritual I was to perform with Samantha was because I had no one. My mate didn't care about me. If he did, wouldn't he have tried to find me?
I watched how Manuel started to harass Samantha sexually but I couldn't do anything. If I were to use my activated powers, I might hurt people and even kill them like I did to my pack.
