Jason POV
Five weeks later, preparations had been made for a marriage people thought was for Paula. I have made my plan well and I was going to show Paula's evil act to everyone during my marriage.
I was dressed in a tuxedo while waiting for my bride.
Soon, both Paula and Bella arrived, both dressed in shining clothes. Samantha walked by the side of Bella with her gaze on me.
I was putting on a mask, so she didn't know what I looked like, but I was going to show my face to her today.
"Welcome the Luna of Dark pilot pack," someone announced as Paula walked in.
Everyone cheered and I turned around.
Taking a cup into my hand, I ordered a lady to give Paula. They all found this romantic, and Paula beamed with a smile.
Bella found a seat at the front while the procession began. I told Max to hand over a copy that I gave him to the man who was taking the ceremony.
Trust me, Max wouldn't have read it.
He did as I said then I handed the videographer a disk.
After the processing, the priest whom I asked Max to give something to began to read the testimony without stopping. I planned this out very well.
I sent someone some days ago to give the priest my word; it looked like I was against Bella, while today before Paula and Bella came in, I made him a bit tipsy.
"Paula killed Dante," the priest concluded.
Everyone pointed an accusing finger at Paula. I smiled remembering that it was the same accusing finger they pointed to Bella.
I turned to Paula and asked if she really did it and to everyone's surprise, she admitted but said that she loves me.
The video started showing and she had her face bowed in humiliation.
"You went as far as to insult my true mate," I said, and everyone was in awe.
"I don't know, who is your true mate? I never insulted her," she said.
I could see Samantha resting her head on Bella's arms; I knew that she was happy that Paula had been exposed. Bella had told me everything.
"Who is your Luna?" Paula asked again and I smiled.
"I would let you know, but after that, you and your cohorts would need to leave this place, and you will be arrested for your crime. None of you will see me marrying," I said.
She was still stubborn and told me that she doesn't think I have a mate but I should point to my mate. I pointed to Bella shocking almost everyone.
Paula fell to her feet, and Samantha was shocked. Then, I took off my mask and showed my face.
Bella stood smiling and I could see Samantha fall beside Bella. I guess she was shocked.
The police walked in and captured Paula while her supporters left the venue, leaving only a few men and women.
After settling Samantha, Bella walked out with a smile on her face and I explained how I planned everything with the help of Bella.
Max and Catherine were beyond shocked, and I looked at the priest, who was almost sleeping. I gave him the antidote to the medicine and he ate.
The ceremony continued and we finally got married.
"Alpha!" I heard someone call while I was walking with Bella and turned back. It was Samantha.
She was overjoyed with the turnout of events but what she said next made me angry.
"You should change the cold expression of yours," she said.
Catherine walked to her side while Bella pulled me away. I knew that Catherine would warn her.
Getting into the pack house, I met the women who supported Paula; they wanted to welcome us but I was quick to walk away with Bella. Such a hypocritical act.
I held Bella and we went into the room.
Getting to the room, I locked the door and sat on the bed.
"Water," Bella said, handing me a cup of water.
I took it and then stared at Bella.
"Do not think too high of yourself. I just married you because you are my mate and the pack needs you. Also, no one will be against you," I said.
To my surprise, Bella wasn't moved.
The little lady walked to me and kissed my head.
"You look cute whenever you wear this look," she said.
Knowing that anything could happen within few seconds, I got up and decided to leave to the cabin but Bella obstructed my way.
"Jason, people stay with each other after marriage," she said.
I knew what she meant by that and remembered the day I slept with her.
"Just leave the way," I said.
She began to laugh and held my wrist.
"I can be quite stubborn," she said.
With that, she planted a kiss on my lips. I didn't know when I grabbed her waist but later dumped her on the bed and walked to the door side.
Her laughter rang throughout the room, and she told me that people would think that I married her just to make Paula regret, and that would reduce People's respect for me.
Such blunt truth from my little mate.
I turned back and walked to the chair.
"In the next nine months, they would expect a baby," she said and I gave a stern expression.
She immediately kept shut seeing my gaze.
I sat staring at her; I must be with her for the day.
"Just don't think everything is settled," I said.
"Everything is settled. It's only that you don't believe in love," she said.
That was the truth but I won't let it out.
"You are a lady and should know how to keep your mouth shut," I said.
She laughed and asked why I was sitting far away from her like she had done something wrong. This was annoying to me and I thought about spending my days with her.
I would rather sleep in my cabin than stay with her.
