ALPHA JASON'S MATE - Chapter 55: Chapter 55

Jason POV
The following morning, I was woken by the sound of my phone. It also woke Bella.
I cleared my eyes and then looked into the phone. It was a call from the private investigator which made me sigh. I told Bella to sleep back while I picked up the call.
He told me that he was with the report and in the pack house. I asked if anyone he trusted was awake and told him to give the report to the person.
I walked out of the room and saw a Gamma walk up with an envelope.
"Alpha, I was told to give you this," he said, handing me a document.
I took it and went inside. There was no need for me to rush to open it. I would love for Bella to see it herself whenever I wake up so I kept it by a corner and went to take my bath.
The day became clear and I took the document with me.
"Good morning, Alpha," Bella said.
I greeted her back and told her to meet me at my office. After that, I left the room.
After eating, I left for my office and placed the document, which contained the result, on my desk.
My door opened and Max entered.
"I heard that you have received the result of the test," he said.
"It's over there," I said pointing to the document. "I don't want to open it yet without Bella's presence."
He nodded and took his seat.
Minutes later, Catherine knocked on my door and came in. I guess Max would have called her. Maybe she was also eager to know the result.
Finally, Bella arrived, and I asked her if she had eaten.
In such a situation, I would like one to be prepared for whatever the outcome is.
I took up the document, tore it open, and read through it. I read aloud for everyone to hear. Thankfully, the door was closed.
To my surprise, the evidence pointed to Tina.
"Omega Tina!" Max and I called in unison.
I explained to them what happened yesterday.
"I began to heavily suspect Samantha when she held my hand," I said and Bella laughed.
"I was sure that it wasn't Samantha," she said.
I gave my word to release Samantha and immediately called for Tina to be hanged.
"Don't you think we should go there?" Max asked and I knew what he meant but shook my head.
There was no need for us to go there now that we had the result. My decision has been made and the only thing left for me was to call for Samantha's release and Tina's execution.
There is no need to take Tina to prison.
I picked up the office phone and told the housekeeper what I had decided.
"Soon Samantha would be here," I said, looking at Bella, who wore a smile.
Minutes later, I told Bella and Catherine to leave and prepare for Samantha's welcome ceremony. I had other things to discuss with my Beta.
"When is Eta Silas coming?" He asked and I told him that I had no idea.
"Let's just wait for him," I said.
After discussing with him, we left to see how the preparation for the ceremony was going.
The ceremony had begun, and I wondered how fast Bella and Catherine were. Sure enough, they would have used some of the Omega's help.
A thought came to my mind as I saw someone bringing Samantha into the pack house. I called Bella and informed her to send a message to all the Omega that they should all join the ceremony.
"Order from the Alpha," I said.
Bella was amazed and asked if I was staying with them and I nodded. I had an important announcement to make.
Samantha got in and bowed both to me and Bella then to Max and Catherine. I walked to a corner and watched how they welcomed Samantha back.
When it was time for me to speak, they became silent.
I welcome you to this welcome ceremony," I said. "I just want you to know that Omega Tina is dead. This should serve as a warning to everyone who conspires against the Luna that they would be killed."
Everyone looked at themselves then I informed them that Paula was also dead.
There was an uproar when I said this. Everyone complained about how she deceived them into believing she was the Luna.
"Eta Silas is here!" We heard.
Max and I looked at each other with a smile on her face. I invited Bella to come near me while Max held onto Catherine.
Some of the Omegas began to draw a line from the entrance because we welcomed Eta Silas like that before.
Getting in, he greeted me, Max, and Catherine, then stopped when he saw Bella.
His eyes moved to me, and I suspect that he thought she was the new girl in my life, but I had never held one of them whenever I was welcoming someone.
"She is our Luna," Catherine said and he opened his mouth like he was shocked.
Maybe he never thought that I was going to settle down or he saw that she was young.
He greeted her, but his eyes never left Bella, making me clear my throat.
"So young and beautiful," he said and walked in.
I wondered about the reason he said that, but I was sure that he couldn't do anything to Bella.
Later on, I learnt that he stared at Bella that way because he always heard of the Luna when he was abroad but never thought that she would be this young.
I returned to my office and waited for Max who walked in with a paper.
"There is a good news," he said and I smiled.
Whenever Max said that there was good news, I was always happy.
After discussing it for a while, I planned on meeting Silas.
Eta Silas came into my office and I told him that he would need to speak with Bella.
