                    Bella POV
While I was thinking, there was a knock on the door. It was Philip. He came to inform me that he had locked the men in a room and I nodded.
"Am I becoming like the Alpha?" I asked myself remembering that I would forgive at least before.
Waving the thought off, I returned to thinking of how composed I am meant to be when tackling the human. My thought was interrupted when the office phone rang. It was Max and he called to remind me about the meeting.
I cleared the table and walked out of the office.
Getting to the meeting room, I walked to sit at the center while the humans glared at me.
Who is she?
What is she doing here?
Is she the Luna or...
The humans kept speaking.
"We would like to see your Alpha or Luna, not a young star," They said as I sat down.
"I am Luna Bella," I said.
"You?" A man asked and I nodded.
They wanted to continue speaking but I stopped them.
"We aren't in the human world where you judge people by their age, stature, and look," I said.
Immediately, I ended my statement; they stopped speaking. I saw all the elders, including Max and Catherine, nod.
"Let's go into the reason you are here," I said.
A man looked up and asked me for the Alpha. Max answered instead of me and told them that he had gone on a business trip.
I gritted my teeth thinking of what Jason would do in this situation.
"Go ahead. Lay your request," I said.
The people looked at each other and I was beginning to be impatient.
"My name is Douglas from Scotland," a man said and paused. "We were on a vacation and passed through here."
I smiled, knowing that they had stumbled upon this place.
"We would love to stay here for a while and enjoy the peace of staying in another world."
I sighed as I looked at them, then decided to take a few hours to ask the opinion of the other pack elders.
After a silent conversation with two people, I turned to the humans.
"Alright," I nodded my head. "None of you should attack anyone of us."
I spoke to them about some ways that they were to live with us. After all, I learned a lot.
"That would be all," I said and got up.
From what I knew about the humans. They are nice to live with but sometimes we need to be careful with them.
I left the room before anyone else, as that is what Jason always does.
"Luna," I heard Catherine's voice and stopped. "I can't believe that you performed excellently on the first meeting where you represented our Alpha."
I smiled and held her on the shoulder then told her that I asked for the goddess guidance.
"You look stressed," she said and I shook my head.
"I have been studying a giant book and I am trying to know more," I said.
Catherine laughed at the sound of a giant book.
"You are our Luna," she said and I nodded. "I will get you some meal."
I walked into the office with a smile on my face and held the book. There was a flash on my phone so I turned it on and saw a picture of a bird.
Jason had sent it and I remembered telling him that I knew all about birds. This made me smile, however I put the phone away.
I kept reading the book until I heard a knock on the door. Catherine walked in with an Omega.
After eating and drinking, I returned my gaze to the book.
Catherine took the book away from me and touched my face.
"You will know more about the pack later, but for now, you need to rest," she said.
It felt like I was interacting with my elder sister.
I got up and left the office.
Catherine placed her hand on my shoulder like she was supporting me. Along the way, we met Max, who looked surprised.
"Where are you coming from?" Catherine asked.
"The humans had a lot to say," he said. "They wanted to give me some money as an appreciation but I refused."
I was happy with the words he spoke.
Humans were not to be trusted, and they are like us, but we are better than them.
After speaking for some time with Max, Catherine took me to the room.
"Was this done by you?" She asked and I nodded. "It's beautiful."
For the day Jason has been away I have decorated the room. I just hope he will like it when he gets back.
I sat on the bed with Catherine and spoke to her. My heart went to Samantha who was busy.
I had a feeling that she had found her mate.
"Do you know if Samantha speaks with any male often?" I asked.
Catherine wore a shocked expression and asked if she was to follow Samantha around. Only then did I notice that I wasn't meant to ask her such question.
"Moreover, I see her speaking with Philip once in a while," Catherine said.
I nodded my head but fell into deep thought.
Is Philip her mate?
Should I ask her?
What would she say?
I didn't want Samantha to make the round choice. I still remember her relationship with Manuel, although that was long ago.
"You should rest," Catherine said and made me lay on the bed.
I shut up all my thoughts and closed my eyes in a bid to rest.
When I heard the door close, I opened my eyes but Mattie warned me not to act smart.
"Take some minutes to rest," she said leaving me with no other choice than to rest.
Minutes later, I sat up and the door was swung open.
"You can continue reading," Samantha said and I smiled.
I walked out with her and saw Samantha on a couch taking a rest.
