Bella POV
After speaking with Samantha for sometimes, I went to meet my mate who held me close. As usual, the first place we visited was the kitchen.
People didn't notice us until we were about to leave.
"Our Alpha is here. Our Luna is here!!" Someone cried out.
After some moments, everyone turned to look at us and greeted. Jason addressed them and encouraged them to do more. When we turned to leave, I saw Samantha following behind me.
Jason looked at me and shook his head then told Samantha to leave.
"She would call you when you are needed." He said.
I remembered the last time I gave Samantha the task to punish Paula's supporters, but now that the punishment was over, I only hope that they would act wise.
We left to check on the keepers of the pack house. They were arguing with one another but immediately stopped when they saw us. A smile crossed my lips and I looked at Jason who also smiled and blessed them.
After going to everyone necessary department, I decided to see Jeff.
"I would like to come along," Jason said.
We walked to the room he was in with his nanny. He was playing happily and screamed joyfully when he saw me.
His gaze turned to Jason and I could see him pay respect.
We all laughed. I sat on the bed and put Jeff on my lap. He giggled happily and I could see Jason touch Jeff's cheek.
This action made me surprise. I knew that Jason just saw it as an act of me saving Jeff. I would say I also had that reason but since his mother didn't come, I have grown to love him.
Jason did what I didn't expect. He raised Jeff to his shoulder and Jeff relaxed like he was his real father. Anyway, an Alpha is a father figure.
"He would leave here even though his mother doesn't come to get him. He has become a part of us," Jason said.
The nanny was about to excuse herself when Jason told her to make Jeff acquainted with all the children in the house. Most of the children were the Omega's offspring, but there were also the Gamma children.
"Yes, Alpha," the nanny said and we left.
We came across Samantha, who was standing like a bored person. Jason left me to her and walked to a couch.
I held Samantha joyfully and sat her down on a far away corner.
"Would you like anything, Luna?" Samantha asked.
I rolled my eyes then looked at her.
"A cup of water would be better," I said.
Few minutes later, she walked out with a tray and placed it on the table. She took up one cup and bottle then reached out to Jason. She helped me pour water into a cup and gave me to drink.
"Don't you also want to drink some water?" I asked her and she shook her head.
"How are things between you and Philip?" I asked.
"He is my mate and considers himself lucky to be my mate since I am a friend to the Luna,"
This made me happy and I wanted to know more about how she felt.
"I am happy that he said that," I said. "How is your relationship going?"
Samantha took in a deep breath and smiled.
"Our relationship has been great. We go out for some ice cream whenever we are to rest, and there we discuss and plan our lives together,"
She explained in such a way that I loved.
"I pray that you have a happy relationship," I said.
"I also pray that along with Alpha Jason, you lead this pack to peace and the fruit of your womb would be prosperous," Samantha prayed.
I was so happy that I trusted Samantha from the beginning. Being my personal Omega, she shielded me from many things.
I remembered Argon and his sisters. Samantha would have been like them if not that she had an Omega spirit.
After drinking some amount of water, I rested my back for some minutes.
As evening approached, Jason and I got changed into similar dresses. We were going out to see what was going on in the pack and wore matching attire.
Jason helped me to pack my hair then we left. People stared at us as we walked.
Some people hailed us while others were busy to notice that we were passing. We smiled at all that was going on.
"Should we eat there?" Jason asked.
It was a small hut but they called it a restaurant and I heard that whatever they prepared was always good and tasted nice.
"What if they recognize you?" I asked.
"Does anyone have the time to check faces in the restaurant apart from the waiter?" He asked.
We went into the restaurant and located a place to sit, it wasn't a crowded place. A waiter came to take our order and was shocked upon seeing our faces.
"Do not let anyone know about this, and you will be paid," Jason warned.
The waitress did as Jason said, and we had our meal and left. I clung to Jason like something was going on.
We returned to the pack house and everywhere was quite. This was strange.
Did anything happen when we were outside?
I walked with caution by the side of Jason who looked around.
"There is nothing unusual," he said.
Soon, we heard the sound of tap water flowing and I followed the direction. Jason didn't feel moved. It was like nothing strange was happening.
I saw Catherine walk to me. She held my hand and hugged me like a sister, but she began to say some words I didn't understand.
What was happening to me?
Catherine kept speaking with me although I didn't respond. She tapped my cheek playfully and walked away.
I looked around as I was feeling a bit unease. I blinked twice as my world got darker until I blacked out.
