Bella POV
A month later, I sat in the living room. It was a comfortable place, and we just arrived in the human world. Jason had a house that was decorated.
He also has established himself as a CEO.
"We will go to my company tomorrow," I heard his voice and jumped up.
The reason I jumped, I was unsure of.
Jason walked over to me and handed a cup of coffee to me.
"The maid would be coming here tomorrow," he said as he took a sit beside me.
We were watching a movie and it was funny.
Ever since we've gotten here, Jason hadn't allowed me to do anything. He always told me that it was my first time in the human world.
My mind was bordered about what was happening in our pack, but each time I relayed my thoughts to Jason, he always told me that we were on vacation for a month.
"Why couldn't we bring Jeff along?" I asked and he only smiled.
After questioning him for some time, he finally gave in.
"Jeff isn't our biological child neither is he our adopted child. We are taking care of him, and when his mother comes to claim him, we will do the necessary test and if the result is positive we should give her back her child,"
I rolled my eyes when I heard this.
"Bare in mind, Jeff isn't you and his mother might come earlier than yours came," he added.
I nodded my head seeing that he had a point.
Our attention returned to the TV. We were watching an action movie. It really interested me.
"The human world would be fun," I said.
Jason tapped my back and told me to make everything happy for myself. In a part of the movie, I saw a woman giving birth and then I remembered Catherine.
"What if Catherine has her child here?" I asked.
Jason gave me a terrible look and asked if he was Catherine's mate. This made me laugh and I rested my head on his chest.
"You know what? You are cute," I said and saw him give a weird smile. "Can we go out? I have heard of some fun places in the human world like hotels, guest houses, museums, zoos, schools, places of work, offices, warehouses..." I kept saying things that I had read before, and Jason laughed.
"Some of the things you said are the same," he said and poked my nose.
I laughed and told him to take it easy on me as this was my first time.
"Can we go to all of them now?" I asked.
He laughed and began to explain to me that we couldn't go to all the places at once and we just arrived.
"In here, it's risky to go out when it's dark."
I nodded as I remembered that I read something like that once ago.
"Alright, can we go to all these places tomorrow?"
"I would see to it if I can do so, but I won't promise you," he said, and I nodded.
I was overjoyed and didn't know when I pulled him into a hug.
"When you get outside, men would try to woo you because you are a beauty," he said.
I didn't understand what he meant by that but when I heard the word, beauty, I smiled.
I began to blush like a child whose mother fed some ice cream.
"Let's watch the movies,"
Because I wasn't concentrating on the movie, I didn't know what happened, but seeing that the baby had been kidnapped because some men wanted to use him for revenge purpose, made me cry.
Jason held me close to himself and rubbed my back. He was about to change what was showing but I was quick to stop him.
"What do you think you are doing?" I asked.
After the movie, we ate and went to sleep.
The following morning,
I saw Jason already dressed in a blue shirt and a black trouser. He held up something thick, .....a..... suit.
"Is that a suit?" I asked and he nodded and looked at me. "Where are you going without me?"
"Waiting for you to wake up," he said.
A smile formed on my lip and I went to hug Jason from behind.
"I would get changed," I said.
I got what I was going to wear and dashed into the bathroom.
After eating, I asked him where we were heading to first.
"To my company," he said.
In his company, we were greeted and I saw that the people were accommodating. They treated me well.
Jason left my side to attend to other matters. I wanted to come along with him, but since it wasn't a place that I knew, I sat at the spot he left me.
He spoke to a lady who was smiling, and this got me upset, but what could I do? Jason was also smiling at her.
"Jason!" I called when I was hungry.
Everyone's attention was on me, and I felt shy.
"I am hungry,"
In ten minutes, a plate was brought to me and I saw everyone's gaze on me. This made me uncomfortable.
"Aren't you eating?" Jason asked.
"Alpha..." I was saying when he shoved a spoon into my mouth.
Everyone smiled while I frowned.
After leaving the company, Jason decided that we would go to a party. The sound of party made me happy but I knew that the party here would be different from ours.
At the party, I saw people dancing. Some people held a bottle while some had only water. Jason ordered for only water and some cake.
It was so nice that I forgot myself and leaned on Jason's chest. I was only brought to my senses when I heard an announcement.
"Let's welcome CEO, Jason Fast,"
I sat up and looked at Jason who waved.
After waving, he pinched my nose and rested my head on his chest again. I felt relaxed.
