Bella POV
I felt relieved with my head on his chest. The party went well. It was similar to the pack parties but a little bit different. We took some pictures and Jason looked happy when we took it
Seeing that he was happy, I also chose to be happy. It wasn't like in the pack where only a selected people could take our pictures.
The sun began to shine when the party ended. We walked to the car and I could feel the heat.
"Why is there so much sun?" I asked.
"It's because this is the period for sun," he said while driving.
I felt like tugging onto his arms as the car moved, but I had to be cautious. Accidents don't frequently happen in the pack, but I learned that in the human world, a little distraction could make someone lose their life.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
Jason looked at me and then focused on the road.
"We are going home?"
I frowned upon hearing this. Didn't we plan on going to different places today?
It felt like he knew what was on my mind.
"We would just change our attire into a new one then set out,"
"Where?" I asked, and he replied that it was a surprise and he couldn't let me know.
We changed into simple clothes when we got home. Then a woman came out to greet us.
"This is my wife," Jason introduced.
"Hello," I said stretching forth my hand. "My name is Bella, and I am the...."
I paused when I noticed that I almost told her Luna. I turned to look at Jason who tapped my hair.
"Wife of CEO Jason," I completed.
The woman bowed with a smile on her cheek. I am Miranda, Mr. Jason's current maid.
"Mi...Mi..." I tried processing her name in my mind but it seems not to be working.
Anyway, I know her as the maid.
"Alright, we would be going out," Jason said after we'd eaten some snacks.
I closed my eyes and smiled when I remembered that Jason wanted to surprise me by taking us somewhere.
The day was getting dark when the car stopped. My eyes glowed as I saw a hill.
"This is beautiful," I said and he pouted his lips.
We got out of the car and walked to the hill. He walked up the hill with me and sat with a folded arm as we looked at the sky.
"Didn't you say that it's risky out here in the dark?" I asked and he nodded.
He held my chin and told me that we would be gone before that hour came.
Minutes later, we walked to the car and drove home where we saw Miranda cleaning her hand. She smiled immediately she saw us enter.
"The table is ready and I am ready to leave," she said.
I looked at Jason wondering what he would say.
"Alright, you should try to get home as quick as possible," Jason said and she nodded.
After she had left, Jason showed me the way to the table and what I saw made me salivate.
"Let's eat," I said.
The meal was good and delicious. When we were done, I took our plates to the kitchen following Jason's direction. I chose to wash the plate although Jason insisted that I should not, I did.
Getting to the room, the clothes which we kept on the bed were no longer there. I frowned at this and asked Jason. Only after his explanation did I calm down.
"Alright," I said.
We both slept holding each other.
The following morning, I woke up from a bad dream.
"What is it?" Jason asked hearing me pant.
"I had a dream that due to your hatred, you made me stay in the dungeon without food and water for three nights,"
He shook his head and told me not to believe that it would happen.
"Dreams always tell us..." I was saying but he stopped me.
"Not all dreams,"
I took a deep breath. My body felt like the dream was real.
I laid on top of Jason and wrapped my hands around his neck.
"We are going out today?" I asked and he nodded.
I got up and took a dress to the bathroom.
"You aren't still free to change in front of me?" He asked and I laughed.
After dressing, I brushed my hair while Jason went to take his bath.
The maid prepared the breakfast table and told us to enjoy our meal. I wanted to tell her to join us but she already left.
"Isn't she going to eat anything?" I asked.
"She is coming from her home so she should have eaten,"
This made sense. You eat before going out. Even the siblings that helped me in the pack always eat before going out.
I focused my attention on the food and after I was done, I asked Jason where we were going.
"Where would you like us to go?" He asked.
"Let's go to the cinema," I said and he rubbed my head. I changed my mind immediately. "Let's go to a hotel."
Jason's lip twitched into a smile, and he hugged me.
"You don't want to live here?" He asked.
Before I could respond, he explained what a hotel meant for people like us and for young people. I bit my lip when I understood what it meant.
"Let's go to a cinema," I said.
Getting to a spot, the car stopped and the gate opened, allowing the car to drive in. I held Jason's hand so tight until we got to a table.
"Two tickets," Jason said and brought out his wallet. He paid for the tickets and gave me one.
We were allowed in when we showed the security personnel our tickets.
"We are going to use our tickets to leave here," Jason said and I nodded.
I was meant to keep it safe.
We were directed to a place. It was dark and only the screen could be seen.
