Bella POV
The second month of our stay here was running out. Everyone at my workplace gathered around me when they got to know that I was leaving.
"Since you joined us, many of our rules has changed into favorable ones," a lady told me. "You only came to stay with us here for one month and three weeks and now, you are leaving us."
In the past few weeks, I have made friends. I didn't want to leave them neither did they want me to leave, but as they say, When you have friends, you are surely going to have enemies. Some people didn't like me because I was always favored.
I walked into the boss's office to receive my last salary.
As much as I didn't want to leave my friends over here, I missed home, that is the pack.
"We truly will miss you," he said handing me an envelope.
I wondered if it would be useful in the pack. Anyway, I would convert it to our currency over there and have some money of my own rather than allowing Alpha Jason to spend when he wants us to disguise.
"Bella, I will miss you," Susana said. "Can we keep in touch while we are away?"
My heartbeat hastened as I didn't know what to do. She wanted my phone number.
After deliberating for some minutes, I collected her phone and dialed my number on her phone. I immediately saved it on her phone and saved her number on mine.
"Bella!" I heard a woman who despised me in my first week here call out to me. She walked closer and hugged me. "I consider you my child."
Hearing her last word made me smile. She was thirty-nine years old, not too old; however, if she had given birth at an early age, she would have had a child close to my age.
A car beeped outside when everyone was speaking to me.
"Bella, I think your husband is outside," someone said.
I could sense some foul play. It wasn't Jason.
"I would check," I said and strolled out.
I saw a rough man smile at me.
"Jason sent me to pick you up," he said.
That was a lie.
"Call him," I said.
He came out of the car and I immediately dashed into the place. I couldn't dial Jason's number now as I may say something that would reveal who I am.
I shoved my phone back into my pocket.
The manager walked out of his office and asked why the place was crowded. He tried handling the matter, but the man wasn't ready to comply. When he was about to push the manager away, I was quick enough to push him. He staggered and hit his head on the wall.
"Ahhh!" Some people shouted.
I smiled and told them that I had been practicing with my husband, who had shown me different defense techniques. I could see the hateful expression in some of the people who didn't like me.
Next, we heard a car beep, and I could sense that it was Jason.
"My husband is here," I said.
The man who I pushed got up. I could see Jason approaching.
The man wanted to attack Jason, but with a punch, Jason sent him flying to the ground. I ran into his arms and hugged him tightly.
After saying our goodbye to everyone present, we walked into the car. Jason drove home immediately and told me to start packing up.
"Today is Miranda's birthday and we were invited," he said. "We should pack our load before going there. We would be leaving early tomorrow morning."
I nodded my head.
Soon his phone rang. It was the sound of an incoming video call.
"Hello,"
"Hello," I waved back to Catherine.
I was so happy that we were going back. I missed seeing Catherine and Samantha's face. I also miss the pack.
"You will be back soon," she said and I giggled.
I was going to tell her about all that happened to us here.
"I really can't wait to share my experience with you," I said, happily.
When I looked at Jason, I saw that he was looking at me. He almost kissed me.
After the call, I kept packing, and so did Jason.
"Wow!" I said picking up a light pen.
Ever since I had seen the pen, I admired it a lot. I pointed it out to Jason a week ago but didn't know that he would get it for me.
"I got two," he said. "One for you and one for me."
I showed my excitement and raised up the pen.
"Thank you so much, Alpha," I said.
I called him Alpha whenever we were alone, and it has been fun. I closed my bag after taking out three clothes; one was nightwear, one was for Miranda's birthday party and the last one was for tomorrow's journey.
I got dressed in the gown that I chose for the birthday party.
"You look beautiful," Jason said, helping me with my hair.
After having some snacks, we walked out and to the car.
"Here," I said looking at the map that Miranda sent to us.
It was a cool place. We were greeted and sent in.
"Are you Mr and Mrs Fast?" We were asked.
We were allowed in and when Miranda noticed us, she was so excited and came to hug me.
Miranda saw me both as her boss and her sister.
"I would miss you," I said.
"Why don't you kiss Jason in front of them?" Mattie asked.
I shook my head but when I saw that some ladies were staring intensely at Jason, I grabbed his chin and kissed him. I struggled with the urge to continue.
Jason asked for the reason I did that, and I pointed to the women who were walking away.
"Why? We will be leaving soon, and you are more beautiful than they are,"
Before I could say anything, someone repeated the word, beautiful.
When we turned to look at the person, it was the woman who had become close to me.
