If I'm getting so unlucky today, then that means it's because I saw the Alpha today. He has been bad luck to me anyway since day one.
I can't believe this is happening to me.
“Oh my!” Tiana's father gasped as well.
I couldn't do anything but stay still as the liquid washed down my body. It smelt like garlic.
“What insolent!” Tiana yelled at first but rushed to kneel in front of me.
I blinked once. My hair was ruined in the process. If I'm getting out of these clothes, then I might have to bathe as well.
I wiped off the liquid that was dripping on my face.
“It's ok actually. It's nobody's fault,” I assured them.
The man turned to Evie in anger. “How dare you do this! Do you know the consequences of what you just did!” He scolded her.
I looked at Tiana. “Where can I change?”
“I'm so sorry, Luna,” Tiana's father cut in quickly. “I will let Evie get you a new set of clothes. My friend is selling it. He's just a few shops away. You can drop the list of whatever you want to get. My daughter will show you to the bathroom,” he suggested.
I nodded once.
I looked at Tiana. “Where can I change?”
“Please, follow me,” she muttered, and stepped inside.
I followed her swiftly.
We walked for a while, then out of the store.
She stopped suddenly and turnedged to look at me. “Would you like a warm or cold bath?”
I shrugged slightly. “Anyone. I just want to get out of this mess.”
Tiana nodded once and walked inside.
My gaze searched around again. This place looks like a house on its own as if the shop used to be before it was transformed.
I stepped inside the bathroom anyway. Tiana was messing with the water when I walked inside.
The bath cubicle was a huge one, almost the size of the Alpha.
Tiana moved closer. “I will get rid of the clothes for you.”
I nodded once, and she slowly unbuttoned the fur cardigan I am wearing. A shiver ran down my spine at this.
I feel an instant cold as the clothes drop off my body. It feels like I'm being monitored. But by who?

“Stop!” My mouth moved before my head would calculate what was actually going on.
I'm still putting on my underwear and a scarf was around my neck. Tiana had reached for the scarf when I stopped her.
“Is something wrong, Luna?”
I looked at her. Why does it feel like everything was planned? Evie had to come out just at that moment, and with a bowl of garlic or whatever the content was. And she had to pour it on me?
It looked….calculative.
Wait a moment, I'm not marked. But Gwen is. I reach for my neck unconsciously. Could it have been the neck? Is Tiana trying to check the mark?
No now, it all looks to be true. If my instinct is right, then I'm just about to risk my identity.
“Step aside,” I ordered.
Tiana's eyes went wide, with shock and maybe disbelief. “Is something wrong? You need to get out of the dress, bath, and change into a new one,” she explained.

“No, I don't feel like bathing. I will wait for Evie to bring the new set of clothes,” I told her.
She nodded once. “Alright. Then, you should take the scarf_” she was saying as she reached for the scarf again.
Yet again, my instinct kicked in.
I held her quickly. “I will stay like this, Tiana. Fetch me the new clothes.”
“But the shops are actually far away. You might also smell of garlic if you don't change.”
That's actually right. The smell of garlic is so tense. Smelling like that is a huge offense, as the Luna.
“Then leave, I will do the rest.”
Tiana regarded me for a while, then bowed slightly. “Alright Luna. I will be just outside this door, In case you need me,” she informed me and stepped out.
Oh, that was so close.
I walked nearer to the bath cubicle and examined it. Tiana mixed the water right and there were scented flowers in it.
I removed the scarf around my neck and released a sigh of relief.
Just as I was about to enter the cubicle, the door burst open.
“Alpha!” Tiana cried.
My eyes widened as I regarded the Alpha for a moment. What was he doing here? How did he even know I'm here?”
He watched me for a moment, and suddenly started walking near.
My breath tightened in my chest. Is something wrong?
He stopped in front of me. He was tall and huge, hovering over me and suddenly, blocking Tiana away from my view.
His warm hands grabbed mine and it made a shudder rush through my body. Then, he took the scarf from me and covered my neck with it.
“Wait,” he muttered in a deep voice and took two steps away from me.
He raised his head and growled into the air. The fur slightly covered his body as if he was shifting but his clothes didn't tear.
A gasp escaped me. It was the demon shifting. It was a moment between being in human form and also being in wolf form. Only the powerful Alpha could successfully do it. It was like an unborn quality.
It's one of those things that makes people fear him.
He growled again as if pursuing someone. No, as if calling out someone.
My heart almost stopped as a wolf rushed out from behind the bathroom.
Wait a moment, so someone was really watching me? Then he must have seen that I have no markings.
The Alpha rushed at him in one go, taking him down. He didn't wait, as his hand rushed at his chest. When his hand came up again, it was with the heart.
A gasp escaped me as I watched the man in his own pool of blood.
Tiana yelled in fright.
The Alpha stood and turned to Tiana, anger vivid in his eyes. I knew, by just looking at him, what he intended to do.
“Xavier!” I called, rushing in between them. “No,” I muttered.
Xavier looked down at me for a moment. “I want to be alone with the Luna,” he orders without looking at Tiana.
My breath itched at this. What was the Alpha going to do to me now? I should have known better than to stop him. Now, I've incurred his wrath.
Tiana stepped out and the door closed with a low slam.
“I_” I started but words refuse to form.
“This_” Xavier cut in as he advanced closer.
I back off in fear.

He pulled back slightly but he was still close and the closeness did nothing to ease the feeling I was having in between my legs.
