“Luna Gwen, you are looking more beautiful every day,” Alpha Thorn, one of the alphas of Northern Alfar, said while holding Gwen’s hand. “Congratulations on your little one’s New Moon Rite blessing.”
Gwen shook Alpha Thorn’s hand, saying, “Thank you, Alpha Thorn. Thank you for coming, and thank you for the gift.”
Theo could not help but narrow his eyes at Alpha Thorn. He was in a sour mood. Because of his temperament, Alpha Thord excused himself, laughing.
“I never took Alpha Theo to be a jealous man, Luna Gwen,” Alpha Thorn remarked as he returned to his table with the other alphas.
“Theo?” Gwen glared at her husband, pulling him by the hand as they sat at their table with their families.
“Can you blame me?” Theo grumbled. “First, it was King Theron, and now Alpha Thorn.”
“My dearest Luna, it seems you have a thing for men whose names start with T. Should I be worried about every alpha with a name beginning with that letter?” Theo said through gritted teeth.
Before them were Gwen’s parents and Theo’s family. Jacob was also present, laughing his heart out. He said, “I think Gwen attracts more than just the letter T.”
Instantly, Theo was reminded that Jacob had once been in love with his wife! A growl left his lips, and if it had not been for Caroline, he would have grabbed Jacob by his collar.
“Hey! Hey! Past is past! I’m the future!” Caroline said, pointing to herself. She punched Jacob and said, “Stop teasing Theo!”
“I was not teasing him. I was pointing out that Gwen can attract other men too,” Jacob suggested.
“That’s true. Most of the warriors had a crush on Gwen in my pack,” George revealed.
“I’m pretty sure the doctor in Port Leon, Doctor Hanson? He thinks Gwen is pretty too,” Baron added with a smirk. “This is my sister we are talking about, Theo. She is just as good-looking as me!”
Gwen, Juliet, Jacob, and George laughed at Baron’s claims. Caroline and Catherine could not help but also chuckle. Theo’s mother remarked, “Indeed, Gwen is beautiful. She takes a lot from Juliet.”
“Even some of my teachers in Cada City said Mommy is pretty, Daddy,” Ian added. “Many have asked for her number.”
Theo’s body tensed. He said, “Then, I’m glad to take Gwen away from Southern Alfer - ouch!”
Gwen punched Theo in the arm while everyone laughed at him.
“Sweetheart, I’m becoming paranoid. I’m never letting you leave my sight,” Theo declared as they entered the room.
Since they were the king’s guests, they had one of the best rooms in the castle. Ian stayed with Baron in a double room, while Lilac stayed with Gwen’s parents.
Gwen grabbed his hand. She urged him to follow her into the bathroom and said, “Theo, don’t be paranoid. You are the only man I want. You are my mate. I love you so much.”
“Mmmm. That’s more like it,” Theo proudly smiled.
“I want another baby,” she teased.
A hiss left Theo’s lips as he cheerfully repeated, “That’s more like it.”
The couple made love in the shower, and Theo howled aloud, hoping his claim on his luna would reach every man who coveted her.
After a steamy bath, they cuddled in bed fully naked. Theo wrapped his arms around Gwen, his teeth gently biting the slope between her neck and her shoulder. With her back facing him, Gwen chuckled as she commented, “I have never heard of a double mark.”
“I wish there was a double mark. I want to make it loud and clear that you are mine,” Theo declared. He scattered kisses on Gwen’s neck before capturing her lips as she turned sideways.
“Can we really have another child?” Theo asked with a smirk.
“It’s possible, but regardless of whether the Moon Goddess blesses us with another child or not, I am already contented with two,” Gwen replied.
Thinking of their children, Theo asked, “Do you think Lilac will inherit your ability to heal others?”
Gwen fully turned to face Theo, her brows furrowing as she admitted, “It’s likely. Her weapon is lethal. The more well-forged the moonstone weapon, the greater her ability. Come to think of it, Hazel or my aunt Janice have an equally potent ability as me.”
Theo let out a heavy sigh. He said, “Then, I will need to protect you both -”
“We need to teach her early,” Gwen corrected. “I did not get the privilege of being trained earlier because Lucius refused to teach me, but Lilac can have an early warrior’s training, which will further enhance her skills.”
“Theo.” Gwen cupped Theo’s face. She pointed, “You can’t protect us all forever.”
“This means you must continue your training along with Ian,” Theo suggested. “You are already a strong warrior, but you could be better.”
Gwen nodded and answered, “Yes, I will do that.”

“Well, little girl. The good news is, you are not poisoned.” Gwen smiled at the young pup. “You just overate and are having indigestion.”
She turned to Jacob, and the latter chuckled as he handed Gwen a standard medication for stomach problems. Gwen smiled at the pup and said, “This should do the trick.”
A week had passed. Following the meetings with the neighboring kings, Gwen and Theo went on a medical mission to Dunswick, the nation led by King Orion. Ian joined the trip, along with Caroline and Jacob.
From a distance, Ian distributed snacks to the patients who had already finished their consultation. Gwen’s son insisted on helping with the medical mission because he was excited to explore another country.
Tents and ancient trees gave enough shade to Gwen’s party and the patients. Dunswick was predominantly a rural country. The country’s lifestyle, economy, and culture largely depended on agriculture and nature. Thus, it had lush forestry and green fields, which Ian loved.
The medication mission was half a kilometer from Southern Alfar’s borders, so it was generally safe and well-guarded. With the addition of King Orion’s royal guards, the security was fortified.
“This is for you. Enjoy!” Ian said to each patient, and he received praise for his helping hand.
“What a kind pup you have, Luna Gwen, Alpha Theo.”
“Ian is already acting as a young alpha.”
“I’ll be an alpha soon enough,” Ian claimed while helping an older woman to her seat.
“So far, so good. Everything is going smoothly,” Theo muttered while observing the line of patients.
Since King Arthur’s men had seized all drugs and healing potions from Lunar Vitae Pharmaceuticals, Gwen was now focused on distributing them to help those most affected by the poisoning outbreak. She was personally given this special task by both the Hazma kings. In return, King Orion signed an alliance with Northern and Southern Alfar.
Northern and Southern Alfar steadily recovered, with reports of new poisoning incidents becoming increasingly rare. Furthermore, both King Alexander and King Arthur issued decrees strictly prohibiting the spread and use of such toxins as weapons. The punishment for breaking this law was death, showing how serious they were about ending the danger.
Seeing a group of medical practitioners arriving, Gwen said, “The local doctors are here. I will orient them about the poisons so we can endorse everything to them.”
While Gwen was meeting the doctors from Dunswick, a few things happened: Some werewolves who lined up to get assistance became increasingly demanding, and a few cut in the line. While warriors from King Orion handled the situation, Theo supervised and reinforced orders. At the same time, Gwen noticed Ian chasing after something.
“Mommy, I found a golden bug! It’s like a small ladybug!” Ian reported.
From where Gwen was, she said, “Ian, be careful. We are not familiar with the insects around here.”
“Oh, don’t worry, Doctor, our insects are harmless, unlike in New Arcadia,” one doctor said.
‘Insects are harmful in New Arcadia?’ The information made Gwen frown, but thankfully, they were in Dunswick, next to Southern Alfar. New Arcadia was two nations away.
“Mommy! I caught the bug!” Ian announced. “It’s stunning! It’s glowing - Ahhh!”
Following Ian’s scream, Gwen felt chills down her spine. Ian said, “Mommy, Daddy! The bug is eating my hand!”
They all rushed to Ian, but when they all reached him, it was too late.
“Goddess!” Gwen cried.
“Ian!” Theo called, his eyes rounding at what he saw.
