In the master bedroom of Port Leon's packhouse, two bare bodies were entangled in bed.
"I'm cumming!" While on top of Gwen, Theo thrust in and out! He threw his head back and howled loudly. Gwen tried to cover his mouth, but he swayed his head and continued announcing how he had taken her.
"Theo!" Gwen scolded before she laughed her heart out. "I can't believe you."
"What? I am proud to be mating with my wife!" Theo reacted with a sly grin. He captured her lips, and they made out for almost a minute. After untangling themselves, they both lay flat on their backs. Soon, they covered what had happened in New Arcadia.
"What happened to King Theron?" Gwen asked while lying on his chest. Immediately, she noticed her husband stiffened. She looked up to him. "What's wrong, Theo?"
"Nothing. I bit the hell out of him until he died. Then I cut off his head," Theo said through gritted teeth.
Gwen narrowed her eyes. She answered, "I think you are keeping something from me. You can tell me."
Theo refused to speak for a few seconds, but Gwen could feel his rage and felt there was something more. He said, "I want to start by saying I don't care about what happened to you while you were in New Arcadia."
He gulped and added, "This is what he told me."

FLASHBACK
During the initial attack on New Arcadia, King Theron was overconfident. Theo had learned that he had hired as many rogues as possible using his gold resources, but his defenses quickly weakened.
The rogues were fearless and did not care if they died, but they were unskilled, merely attacking on impulse. Thus, King Theron was forced to retreat. However, he went into hiding.
While searching for King Theron, Theo, King Arthur, and King Alexander cleared as many oppositions as possible. They all educated the locals on the benefits of being led by a new king. While a significant percentage of the locals submitted to the idea, a few fought back, especially the high-ranking alphas within New Arcadia.
After almost two weeks of hunting down King Theron, Theo's men finally had a lead on his location. Theo led the attack, together with his best warriors.
Theo ended up facing King Theron in a one-on-one battle. During that fight, Theron provoked him.
They were in their wolf forms, seething as they walked in circles, ready to attack each other. Theron barked, "You think you won? Haha! I already had a taste of your wife! You were not able to feel it because Victoria had sealed your mate bond!"
"You think I care? Your words won't affect me. It doesn't change how I feel for Gwen. But today, I will avenge my wife!" Theo declared. He leaped into the air, and Theron did the same.
Their claws clashed together before they both landed on the ground. Theron lunged first, and when Theo saw this, he shifted into his human form. He glided beneath Theron before returning to his werewolf form and scratched him with his claws!
Theron shrieked in pain as he fell, rolling on the ground. Theo saw this as an opportunity and attacked him, his teeth sinking into Theron's neck!
Theo continued latching on to Theron. He disregarded Theron's attempts to fight back and went for the kill. When Theron lost consciousness, Theo bit harder. He pulled out Theron's neck and threw it to the ground!
"You will never again force women into your bed!" Theo declared before growling.

Back to the present.
"You said that?" Gwen asked while looking into Theo's eyes.
Theo nodded, though the truth was, the thought of that possibility pained him. Still, all that truly mattered to him was Gwen's return. Gwen was his, and nothing could change that.
"Well, you'd be glad to know that all of my memories have returned, including when Victoria captured me. And no, Theron was not able to touch me. Victoria extracted my blood for days at the brick house. She needed to do that to weaken me, as it was the only way she could successfully seal my memories," Gwen explained.
"I was so weak, barely awake, but I remember when she attempted to cast a spell on me. Then, I blacked out. The next thing I knew, I woke up in Theron's palace, and they seemed to be arguing about my condition. I suspect that was the day Victoria had brought me to Theron." Gwen frowned and said, "Well, I can't be 100% sure, but I don't think so."
Theo felt relieved. He embraced his wife and kissed her forehead. He expressed, "I'm glad, but either way, I will always accept you, not just for how you have sacrificed for Ian, but because I love you."
"I can't live without you, Gwen," Theo said with conviction.
"I love you too, Theo," Gwen replied, looking up at him with a smile.
They shared a passionate kiss, and when they pulled away, Gwen asked, "So, what will happen now?"
"What happens now?" Theo echoed. He cupped Gwen's chin and asked, "How do you like to be the new queen of Northern Alfar?"
"Whaaatttt?" Gwen screamed in shock.
Theo explained, "Aurora wants to help the people of New Arcadia. Many of the old settlers in the nation still trust her. They are happy for her return, but since she is King Arthur's mate, they have considered ruling New Arcadia instead."
"King Alexander does not wish to rule over Northern and Southern Alfar. Even if it used to be one, he still prefers having a smaller nation to look after. So, the brothers have proposed for us to rule Northern Alfar," Theo added.
Gwen gulped. Her throat felt paper dry before she replied, "I don't know. I'm not sure. It's a big responsibility, Theo."
Theo pushed back a strand of Gwen's hair. He explained, "I understand. It's not urgent. Right now, the Hazma kings will help reform New Arcadia, starting with ProVita Sciences. It's a long process. It will take years, but I will play a significant role in looking over Northern Alfar whenever King Arthur is in New Arcadia."
"Do you want to be king?" Gwen clarified.
With a sigh, Theo leaned back. He replied, "It wasn't my goal then, but thinking about it now, I can't let the people of Northern Alfar down, either. If not me, then who?"
The couple lay in bed quietly, thinking together. Eventually, Theo said, "We have a few years to think about it. For now, let's just focus on making baby number three."
Gwen chuckled. She answered, "Okay."
Over six months passed.
Theo had just returned to Port Leon from a two-month-long pack visitation around Northern Alfar. While King Arthur was away, he was assigned to check on the condition of all municipalities in the nation.
It was a way of evaluating the alphas' support for Theo and determining any rebellions, should there be any. At the same time, Theo used the opportunity to offer help to struggling packs further from the capital.
He was met with Port Leon's warm welcome as many pack members cheered with confetti, trumpets, and the usual howls of joy!
At the border, Ian was the first to run to Theo, screaming, "Daddy! Welcome back!"
Gwen followed, carrying Lilac in her arms. She embraced him and kissed him passionately. After being gone for two months, he nearly cried with longing.
"I missed you," Theo said to Gwen. Then, he kissed Lilac and carried his daughter. "I missed you too. Can you say Daddy for me?"
Lilac, who was now a year old, happily called, "Daddy!"
"Daddy! Daddy! Mommy has a surprise for you!" Ian excitedly announced.
"Oh?" Theo glanced at Gwen with a sly grin. "What is it, Wifey?"
They were still at the border gates, and many warriors and pack members observed their union. Catherine had also turned up to welcome Theo back. Beside her, Caroline and Jacob urged, "Give Theo the gift!"
Gwen gave Theo a box, and Lilac helped open the gift. What he saw no longer surprised him, but he screamed for joy. He said, "I'm going to be a father again!"
Inside were two pregnancy test kits, and they both had two red lines.
"Well, I had an inkling you were pregnant," Theo said to Gwen, his smile reaching his ears.
"Yes, but that's not the surprise," Gwen said, confusing Theo.
Again, Theo looked inside the box. There were only two pregnancy test kits. What else could be the surprise?
Gwen whispered into his ears, and the second he understood, his eyes rounded in shock. He screamed, "By the bloody moon! I'm going to be a FAAATHEEERRRRRR!"
Theo howled like he had conquered the world, encouraging laughter around them.
