                    Five years passed.
Dradhold Castle.
“Your father would have been proud. You’ve taken the Erhart’s name to new heights,” Catherine said, tears streaming down her face as she hugged Theo.
Turning to Gwen, Catherine expressed, “Gwen, Agatha was right. You genuinely are the miracle that we needed. It is becuase of you that Theo has gone this far.”
“Mother, the other alphas support Theo, regardless,” Gwen said. “He has been admired for making Port Leon the strongest and wealthiest pack.”
“But, Sweetheart.” Theo wrapped her arms around Gwen. He claimed, “Port Leon became more prosperous because of you.”
“Very true,” Caroline said by the door. “Come on, guys, everyone is waiting!”
“Mommy! Daddy!” All of a sudden, three young girls ran into the room. They were all Theo and Gwen’s kids!
Ian entered, chasing his breath. He grumbled, “Watching over my sisters is more difficult than training to be an alpha!”
They all laughed, including Jacob, who had just walked in. He said, “Weren’t you asking for siblings when you were young?”
“I - “Ian sighed and said, “I did. I just did not expect them to be so restless.”
Yes, Theo and Gwen had twin girls during their last pregnancy. Caring for two pups at a time was tough, especially when Lilac was still young. Thus, the couple decided four kids were enough.
“Lilac, Louise, Isabella, apologize to your big brother and behave,” Theo ordered.
The young girls pouted their lips. Lilac, who was six years old, led her younger sisters to Ian and said, “Sorry, Big Brother Ian.”
“Sorry, Big Bro,” the twins said in unison.
“Come on, Ian, you can’t possibly be mad at your sisters,” Jacob teased.
“Fine,” Ian rolled his eyes. “Just don’t make me chase you all over the castle again! It’s not like in Port Leon when our house was smaller. Our new home is already a castle!”
“Okay, Brother Ian!” All the girls said. They smiled brightly before hugging Ian.
The twins, Isabelle and Louise, bore features of both Gwen, and Theo but did not inherit Gwen’s purple eyes. With Lilac resembling Gwen and Ian taking after Theo, the couple felt they had equally contributed to continuing their lineage.
It had been decided that Ian would take over Port Leon one day under the guidance of his Aunt Caroline and Uncle Jacob. They had married four years ago, and ever since, they had led Port Leon’s border control.
With Theo and Gwen moving to Dradhold Castle, more responsibilities were in Caroline and Jacob’s, but they were not worried. Many of Theo’s warriors remained as gammas for Port Leon. Catherine would also remain in the pack as an elder.
“Alpha, everyone is waiting for you,” Brody suddenly said at the door. Brody remained on Theo’s side, so he moved into Dradhold Castle as the official royal beta.
Yes, that day was Gwen and Theo’s coronation. Five years after King Arthur officially decided to move to New Arcadia, Theo was finally taking the throne.
With the passing of years, Theo’s popularity as a candidate for king steadily grew, largely due to the influence of his miracle doctor wife. The alphas of Northern Alfar recognized how Gwen complemented Theo’s leadership, and her presence brought significant benefits to the nation. This earned Theo the unanimous support of every pack as the country’s next ruler.
“Okay, everyone, let’s go. Kids, let’s go,” Theo urged his children.
They made it through Dradhold Castle’s Royal Hall peacefully, without the kids causing trouble. Everyone around them bowed to give respect: the alphas, lunas, warriors, and elders. Among the crowd were Gwen’s family.
Theo and Gwen regarded the Allards.
Over the years, George and Juliet’s pack became recognized for their godly weapons and unique healing ability—precisely as King Alexander had predicted. They grew popular and were admired by many, leading many of their members to find their mates. Baron was no exception.
Beside Gwen’s parents were Baron and his mate. Baron’s mate was Alice, a warrior in Southern Alfar. They had met two years ago, during one of King Alexander’s trips to New Arcadia. Since then, they have been inseparable, all while preparing to take over the Lilac Pack.
As for King Alexander, the cupid had certainly not overlooked him. Conquering New Arcadia brought a new perspective to them all. There, King Alexander met a human who turned out to be his mate. Who would have imagined that a human would become the queen of Southern Alfar?
There were talks about Alice converting into a werewolf, but that has yet to be decided. King Alexander did not want to rush his mate, but either way, they were both committed to being with each other for life.
Soon, the ceremony began, with Theo and Gwen on their knees before the former king, Arthur.
Arthur and Aurora were bound to be the new leaders of New Arcadia, but their official crowning would happen next month. Beforehand, Arthur needed to pass his crown to Theo, and thus, he initiated the ceremony.
“By the laws of our ancestors and the will of the Moon Goddess, I pass the mantle of leadership to you, Theo Erhart,” Arthur declared. “I name you the king of Northen Alfar. May your reign be strong, your wisdom unfailing, and your bond with the pack unbreakable. Lead them with honor, as I have sought to do.”
Arthur placed a crown on Theo’s head before turning to Gwen. He said, “By the will of the Moon Goddess and the bond of the pack, I crown you, Gweneth, as our Luna Queen. You are the heart of the pack, the light in the shadows, and the voice of wisdom beside the alpha king. Together, you and King Theo shall guide Northern Alfar to strength and prosperity.”
Arthur also placed a crown on Gwen’s head. Then, Theo and Gwen shared their oaths to the nation. After that, Arthur said, “Rise, Your Highness.”
“Northern Alfar, welcome your new king and queen, King Alpha Theo Erhart and Queen Gweneth Erhart!” Arthur announced, and the crowd cheered with acceptance.
Howls echoed in the air. Some tossed flowers before the new king and queen, while others expressed their delight in words.
“Hail to the new king and queen!”
“King Alpha Theo!”
“Queen Luna Gwen!”
Theo and Gwen’s children echoed the chants around them. The girls wildly rushed to them, and Theo took the twins in his arms. Gwen carried Lilac while Ian slowly walked to their side.
It was a happy day, but it also marked the start of a new challenge. The responsibility of leading Northern Alfar now rested on Theo and Gwen.
The road ahead wouldn’t be easy, but they had already overcome many hardships. With the strength of their bond, the love of their family, and the support of their pack, they knew they could handle anything. They had created something bigger than themselves—something that would last.
Together, side by side, they were ready for whatever came next.
