Alpha Theo's Unloved Luna - Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Yes, Theo hated her, but he had never hit her once. So, when his hand came in contact with her face, Gwen was shocked. Gwen turned to her husband in horror, asking, "Slut? Wh- why?"
Theo suddenly put his big hand around her neck and pushed her down the bed. Gwen wiggled her frame to free herself, feeling suffocated. It wasn't until she was coughing madly that Theo finally released her.
While Gwen was recovering and taking in as much air as possible, Theo thrust his fist against the wall and screamed, "Aah!"
He turned to her and pointed, “Do you think getting pregnant by another man will make me keep you by my side, Gwen? That's where you are wrong!"
Gwen could not understand what was happening. She cleared her throat and asked, "What do you mean, Theo? Another man? This baby is yours - Ah!"
Another fearful scream left her lips when Theo threw another punch in the wall. He paced back and forth and revealed, "You think you can trick me? For your information, Gwen. That child isn’t mine. I had myself tested!"
"What do you mean?" Gwen asked, her arms slowly embracing herself for protection.
"I could not understand why you couldn't get pregnant when we have had sex for a year," Theo disclosed. "So, I had myself checked. I knew that Agatha had sent you to doctors to prepare yourself for pregnancy, but I was never evaluated."
"Last week, I found out that my sperms were not healthy enough to get you, or any woman pregnant for that matter!" Theo loudly announced. "Do you get it now? I am infertile!"
"What? infertile?" Gwen gasped. "That can't be. This child -"
Gwen held her stomach and said, "Theo, this child is yours! I have never been with any other man - Ahh!"
"Save your breath!" Theo yet again punched the nearest wall, flustered. "I could have killed you if I wanted to, but I spared your life, accepted this fucking forced marriage in the hopes of giving my people a better future. I may hate you, Gwen, but I had previously hoped that you could truly bring something to the table!"
"And then this!" He growled, his body expanding in rage. "That cannot be my child. I had the test done twice! Agatha might have been wrong with her insight. Obviously, I cannot get you pregnant!"
"But, Theo!" Gwen screamed in despair. "This child is yours! I swear this child is yours. There has to be an explanation for this? The test you took has to be wrong!"
"Enough!" Theo ordered. "Tell me who the father is. Tell me, who dares to execute this plan with you?"
"I did no such thing!" Gwen's face was utterly awash with tears. "There is no one. There is only you!"
Sadly, because Theo never marked her, he could not feel her genuine emotions or tell the truth and lies. All Gwen could do was plead.
"Kneel!" He ordered. "As your alpha, I command you to tell me who the father is!"
By his command, Gwen got off the bed and kneeled. She was compelled to bow to her husband and alpha.
"I asked who is the father? I command you to tell me?" Theo repeated.
Gwen looked into his eyes and cried in her reply, "You. You are the father -"
"Lies!" Theo growled so loudly that Gwen felt the entire packhouse shook!
"How could I lie? You commanded me," Gwen reasoned.
"But you are also of an alpha blood, so it can be easy for you to get past my command!" Theo pointed out.
"That's absurd, and you know it!" Gwen responded. "You are more powerful than me. I don't even have my wolf yet! How could I ever go around your command?"
"I'm done!" Theo declared. He raised his hands in surrender, saying, "I'm leaving. I have better things to do."
"You!" Theo barked and ordered, "You stay here until our divorce agreement is ready! You are not allowed in this room!"
"Theo, no!" Gwen tried to hold her husband, but he approached the door quickly. He slammed it shut and locked it from the outside.
When Gwen was alone, she was left to reflect on that morning's revelation. 'Theo is infertile? How did I get pregnant if he was infertile?'

"Madison? Madison!" Theo violently knocked on Madison's hotel room.
When she opened the door, he asked, "Did you drug me last night?"
"Theo, babe, I wouldn't - Ah!" Madison screamed after Theo pushed the door and broke it.
"Do not lie to me!" Theo scolded. "I am your alpha!"
"Okay, fine!" Madison wept. She walked back into her hotel room, stomping her feet. "I did it, but I only did it because I love you!"
Madison sat on the bed and covered her face. She revealed, "I miss you, Theo. Before the war, we were always together. We kissed under the moonlight for hours. When we won against Lucius Darwin, I thought, finally, we would be together. Then you got married to another woman!"
"Theo? You have to understand my frustrations and longings! I miss you and love you," Madison declared. "I hate knowing that you touched Gwen when you were supposed to be mine!"
"I wanted you. I wanted you to take me, but you left." She raised her hands and shoulders, saying, "You just left."
She sniffed and asked, "Please don't tell me you had sex with her instead of me?"
The sight of Madison's weeping face crushed Theo's heart. Madison was the woman he promised his heart to before Lucius's conquest, but everything changed after that.
"I'm sorry," Theo said. He approached her and pulled Madison in his arms. "I know you were badly hurt, but I will change things now. Gwen and I are going to get a divorce."
"Just don't do this again. We can't force things, and while I am married, my wolf doesn't feel comfortable being intimate with you." Theo soothed Madison for minutes longer. After a while, he asked, "I want to have you as my luna, but there is something that you have to know."
"What?" Madison asked as they pulled away from the embrace.
"I am infertile," Theo revealed. "And to be my luna, you'll have to accept that we won't have heirs."
Theo told Madison everything, including how Gwen got pregnant. After a while, Madison said, "Of course, Theo. I love you very much. I accept everything about you, but what about Gwen? What will become of her?"
"You have to punish her and whoever fathered her child! That kind of betrayal deserves death!" Madison suggested.
'Death?' Theo repeated in his head. A year ago, before knowing Gwen, he would have taken her life for being one of the enemies, but could he really do that now? Despite his deep hatred for Gwen, he secretly felt a small measure of pity for her. He couldn't understand why, but it developed over the course of their year-long marriage.
Theo gulped. He thought carefully and answered, "Death is too easy for her. Let her raise the child as a rogue. I'm going to exile her."
