“Where is Ian?” Theo asked.
“He is staying with his grandparents,” Gwen said as she entered Theo’s car.
Theo arrived late at the hotel. He gave Gwen’s parents an update about the search for Janice. Sadly, according to Juliet’s description, they found no match. So, instead, Theo promised to take Gwen’s parents around the pack, searching for Janice. That way, Juliet could feel Janice’s aura or smell her scent.
“So, it’s only going to be you and me?” Theo asked.
There was a glint in his eyes when he realized that he and Gwen would be alone. Gwen chuckled and responded, “Don’t get any bright ideas now.”
“I think that’s too late, Luna,” Dunken said behind the wheel.
“Dunken, glad you are back in service,” Gwen smiled at the gamma.
“Luna Gwen, I am so thankful for the help you have given me. Thanks to your treatment, I recovered very fast,” Dunken said.
“You are welcome, Dunken,” Gwen responded.
“I have some bad news,” Theo revealed. “I agreed to let Madison out of the dungeons. Her parents are connected to the elders, Odessa and Gallagher. They insisted on releasing Madison because they were worried that she may become pregnant, but don’t worry. She is on house arrest. She cannot leave, and her house is guarded for twenty-four hours.”
“I see,” Gwen calmly said as Dunken stepped on the gas.
“You are accepting this too easy,” Theo remarked.
Gwen chuckled. She answered, “Even if she had inseminated herself with your sperm, Theo, she is not going to get pregnant.”
“I -” Theo’s brows met. She could tell he feared the possibility. “I certainly hope so.”
“Don’t worry. Only I could get pregnant with your pups,” Gwen claimed without looking at Theo, and yet again, she caught his attention.
“Well.” Theo quickly wrapped his arm around her waist, saying, “How about we test that Theory. Shall we?”
It was as if Dunken knew what to do. He sped through the road and promptly arrived at the packhouse in fifteen minutes. The second the car pulled to a stop, Theo carried Gwen across his shoulders and brought her to their room.
From there, Theo immediately threw Gwen into the bed, leaving her bouncing on the sheets.
