Xayden
The news of Paula’s miscarriage got to me and to say I was furious was an understatement. I kept pacing my room, still pondering over everything then I came to the conclusion that Frankie had killed my heir out of jealousy.
Someone in the hospital injected Paula with a drug known as oxytocin, causing her to go into coma and causing the baby in her womb to seize breath, and clog. That was the story I had heard but it surely was not true in anyway as I was sure that this was Frankie’s doing.
The fuck!
He surely paid someone to get rid of my baby and here was this stupid story going around about how it had nothing to do with Frankie.
Serves that bitch right for thinking he would be any better than me. I wished she had died instead and they saved the baby. Paula just fucking ruined my ticket to the throne and she was just lying there in the hospital with everyone comforting her.
‘How could someone kill my baby in that hospital?’ I thought.
They knew me too well than to mess with me as everyone knew Xayden as the crazy Alpha. That hospital, that’s one of the top hospitals in the realm, and yet murder happened and no one is batting an eye lid. This was obviously because Frankie is keeping it all under wraps.
That top hospital and someone would sneak in and almost poison Paula to death, and then there would be no footage of the so-called person. He really needed to upgrade his lying techniques. I was sure that bitch must have convinced him to get rid of the baby so they can start their own life afresh without stress.
He got rid of my own heir as taking the throne wasn’t enough for him and taking my Luna didn’t satisfy him. He did this to satisfy his cravings for the supreme reign on the throne and to make Paula his and his only, but he doesn’t know what he has just gotten himself into.
I have been so fucking lenient, just making threats but now he would know that I shouldn’t be taken for granted. He might have thought that I was a weak man, maybe because I’ve not dealt with him that was why he took me for a fool.
I picked up my car keys in anger and stormed off to my car before driving off with one destination in mind.
Once I alighted from the car, I continued my journey up the hill. I knew that i had to do this to teach that bastard Frankie a lesson. If I decide to deal with him on my own, I might end up failing and the last thing I wanted was to fail on my own. He already declared war unconsciously and I hope his father can stop this. Not stop me, I mean handle the repercussions because I was about to send his favorite son to the grave.
He would know who he fucking messed with. I was at the top of the hill when suddenly a wind blew and I almost lost my footing. If I wasn’t ready for the fall, I would have gone spiraling down the hill I just climbed up from.
‘How could this happen to me right now?’ I thought as I grunted in frustration.
Thankfully for my werewolf genes, there was not much damage done. I started walking again, more careful this time to avoid that happening again.
I had been walking for a few hours now with no end in sight and it was beginning to irritate me. I wondered what went wrong and why it seems like I had been going around in circles. I was starting to think that the person I came to find didn’t want to be found at all.
I walked over to a rock annoyed at why it was even there in the first place, it was a hill but it didn’t even look like it belonged there. I took two steps forward before it clicked and I went back and picked up the stone and soon a hiss left my lips.
I still couldn’t believe Frankie had put me through this stress and I wanted to scream and punch something but I needed to be quiet. This place was dangerous for me and I couldn’t afford to anger the spirits that lived here and get myself killed.
I had passed this place about three times now, I felt anger bubbling up my throat but I tamp it down. I could hear my wolf mocking me and I don’t know what I did to try moon goddess to deserve a wolf that was always against me.
Bouts of laughter made me stop for a while, I searched around for where the sounds were coming from but I couldn’t place it. I wanted everything to stop badly but it felt like I was having a laughing contest in my head. That was when it clicked, Aria was laughing uncontrollably again.
“Stop it” I screamed and the whole place went quiet for a while before the laughter came back in full force. My head was throbbing with pain and I wanted to hit something and bang my fist against something.
Before he was just an annoying voice in the back or my head, now he’s just an annoying nagging voice and very emotional. I thought strong men had stronger wolves, another reason why the moon goddess doesn’t like me. Firstly, she gave me a stupid mate who would prefer to be with another man, then the next mate she gave to me was too stupid and weak yet she got paired with my half-brother.
“You’re just a weak thing Xayden, who made you think you’re strong? Tsk. Humans love to get ahead of themselves.” Aria replied in a mocking manner and I clenched my hand before taking deep breaths, I was going to pretend I didn’t hear that.
I ignored him, focusing on the situation at hand, that bitter witch had me walking in circles. She was a tricky old thing but I don’t blame her. When I have that much power, I wouldn’t let just anyone enter my territory.
I felt a movement in my hand and looked out, I quickly threw away the rock which had now turned to a black cat.
‘How the hell did it change from a stone to a cat?’ I pondered.
This was why I could never trust witches as they were tricky little bitches.
“Get away from me you little pest.” I barked at it in hopes to scare it away but it just looked up at me dryly.
I never wanted to badly scream in my life, it kept on staring at me as if I was just a weak thing who couldn’t do shit to him.
“Finally, you’re starting to acknowledge how weak you are. That’s cute” Aria chimed in and I quickly shut my eyes.
I wasn’t going to let this crazy wolf drive me to insanity.
“I said leave this place,” I said while making a ridiculous shooing sound that I was sure made me look stupid.
As I was about to lunge at the cat and throw it down the hill in frustration, a crocked voice rang out
“Touch my cat and I will end you”
