I couldn’t bear to keep the secret anymore as it was eating me up inside. Renee was my sister, but Frankie was my friend, my best friend at that. Frankie has always been there for me even when my family didn’t know what I was going through. Frankie never really made me feel like a subordinate to him and he enjoyed doing things to make me happy. Besides my loyalty stands with one man, and that’s Alpha Frankie.
All these and more thoughts are the reasons why I was standing in front of Alpha Frankie’s chambers, trying to compose myself before I go inside. I didn’t know what was pushing me to do this but one thing I was sure that I would never regret was taking sides with Frankie.
Once I am inside, I’m going to spill every motherfucking thing I know, and there’s no going back again from this. Breathing in and out, I finally turn the door knob and go in to spill my secrets. I just pray that it all goes well.
As I step inside, I see Alpha Frankie pacing around, and it’s obvious that he’s deep in thought. So deep in thought, that he didn’t even notice my entrance.
“cough…” I say clearing my throat to make myself known. I didn’t know what I would say or how I would start as It was not every day you show up in front of your Alpha to rat out your sibling and the elders.
He turns around towards where I was standing, and immediately he sees me, I can see the change in his facial expression. As if he’s trying to hide the fact that he has been thinking, or that he’s worried about something, but I’ve already caught onto it.
“Hawke.” He says curtly, and I walk towards him, as I bow in greeting and respect. I hated the way he sounded curt, our conversations were not always like this so I knew that something was terribly wrong.
Frankie might be my friend, but he’s still the Alpha King, and I have to give respect to whom respect is due. Raising his hands, he commands the guard that’s in the room with him to leave, allowing for our privacy and also making me feel at ease.
Safe, secure, and comfortable too…
“Good day Alpha King.” I greet and he just chuckled and asked, “Hawke, how many times have I told you to stop being like this?”
I knew what he was talking about but I didn’t mind.
I said nothing, but he soon breaks the silence by offering me a seat, as he takes his own too, and then he asked, “So what brought you here? You have any news for me?”
If it were some news it would have been easy for me to talk, and I would have been done with it by now.
What I’m about to say is something that’s isn’t so easy to blurt out.
“I’m waiting Hawke…” Frankie says bringing my wandering thoughts back to the present, and I look up at him.
I rubbed my sweaty palms on my jeans as I take deep breaths. I started to make my face look remorseful, as I finally say, “I’m here to make a confession.”
I watched Frankie’s face intently as I tried to gauge his reaction, to see if he was shocked or something close to that, but it’s still neutral.
He was showing no emotions at all, and at that I repeated what I just said again, “I’m here to make a confession.”
He sighed deeply then started laughing.
I was even more confused at his outburst.
“Frankie, I’m serious here. I have a confession to make.” I said for the umpteenth time as I wanted hi to take me seriously.
“Of course, I know. And you can proceed with whatever it is you want to say, I’m all ears.” He said back to me, still smiling.
I didn’t know where this feeling was arising from, but my gut was telling me that Frankie already had an inkling on why I was here and want I was about to say.
If not all, he had an idea of the things I had done and I was feeling ashamed.
But then…
There was no way he knew about everything or something, and he’s still treating me like this.
I would not even argue when he sends his guards to attack me or if he breaks the bond of friendship we have because I had betrayed his trust heavily.
I cleared my throat and straightened myself, trying my best to look cool in spite of the shame I was feeling deep within me as I opened my mouth and I told him everything.
I watched as he listened dutifully and his face didn’t change one bit. I hated this cold facade so much. I wanted him to do something, maybe throw something at the wall or hit me.
Lord help me! Whatever punishment he gives me I won’t even argue or protest because the heavens knew I deserved it, if not worse.
ALPHA Frankie
I listened as Hawke talked and talked.
I didn’t even make a single sound as he told me everything I already knew.
I listened as he talks about Paula’s kidnap, and how he had helped his sister while trying to play his part as her brother.
I also listened as he spilled everything he had done and even knowing about Renee’s plan to drug Paula and kill her baby, something he says he had no idea she was going to go through with it.
All the while as he talked, I make no move to even shut him up.
I already knew about everything, as I have eyes everywhere and insiders who told me everything, and I knew he was so going to be astounded when I told him that I knew about all the secrets and even more.
Despite the fact that I was angry and felt betrayed by some of the things he did, the fact that he came to confess and apologize was making me see him in a different light.
Besides we were friends and have been for such a long time and it would be such a shame to let greed, secrets, and anger break the beautiful bond we have.
“Are you listening to me at all?” He asked and I hum a yes in reply.
“I have been listening to everything you have been saying of course. I am here aren’t I?” I ask him sarcastically.
I noticed the way he clenched his jaw in frustration and I just had to choke back a laugh.
“You haven’t said anything yet, and now I’m already beginning to get scared. I’m really sorry about everything I did. I didn’t mean to cause you pain and seeing the way the incident with Paula affected you, there was no way I could just hold it in any longer.” He finished and silence envelops the whole room.
I took a moment to allow his words sink into me, as I evaluate what he had said and didn’t say, and what I was going to say to him in response. I knew I was going to be really lenient in whatever judgment I’m going to give him though
Plus, there was something about the abortion incident that he didn’t know and that he would be shocked to know.
I was just going to warn him, and then we’ll talk about other important kinds of stuff.
Fuck it! I’m not going to give him any judgement.
Clearing my throat, I drop my first bombshell as I said, “Everything you said Hawke… Every single thing you made mention off are things I know about them even before you came.”
I watched his mouth fall wide open in confusion and obvious astonishment at my reveal.
I nodded and said again, “Yes Hawke. I’m the Alpha King remember, you didn’t expect me to just lay low. I did my investigations and I also have my spies everywhere so I know when something is wrong, and off and I make sure I get to the root of things.”
“Oh my goodness! Oh my! Frankie I’m so sorry.” He started to apologize, even going on his knees to beg me.
I immediately stand up and head towards where he was kneeling and lift him up quickly.
“Don’t do that Hawke. I’m not the Alpha King to you. You’re like a brother to me and more than just my friend. I know we all make mistakes, and I know you made a mistake.” I pause, as I think of how to drop the next bombshell.
“Frankie, I’m really sorry. Anything you want, anyhow you want to make me suffer for my sins, I’ll gladly pay for it. I’m so sorry.” He said before I could get a word out.
He was really emotional that’s for sure, and even though I’m personally overwhelmed by everything, I know I just have to let it slide and forgive him just like I promised myself earlier.
“Hawke, I have no intentions to punish you. I’ve forgiven you too”
“What!” He exclaims, looking at me with wide eyes and I know he doesn’t believe that I have forgiven him.
“Let’s talk about other things. There are some things you didn’t make mention of and I’m sure you have no idea of them. Plus, there is something I think you should know.”
I walked back and took my seat, and he does the same too.
“Are you seriously not going to say anything about what I just did. You’re just forgiving me like that?” He asked again.,
“Yes Hawke… What are friends for? Besides you’ve learnt your lesson and I’m glad you did so personally.” I said while chuckling
“Words fail me Frankie… I don’t even know how to thank you.” He says but I just brushed it off.
Moving on, I decided to bring other ones and also inform him of the happenings in the clan.
“Do you know that I know about the deleted CCTV footage, and everything that has been going on ever since the abortion incident. I was just making my own investigations to be extra sure.” I said.
I could already tell that he had no idea.
He had no knowledge that while they were plotting their schemes, other things were going on.
Straight away I summarized everything I knew.
I told him about the camera footage, the hidden videos I have, and also the plot Xayden had with the elders.
The fucker was not even aware that I knew.
I was able to detect foul play between Xayden and the elders and I was able to get my much-needed information, all of which I could tell Hawke who had no single knowledge about.
“That fucker Xayden, damn… To think that boy was birthed by the same father as you.” He cursed and I simply shrugged.
“So, what do we do now?” He asked me, and I smirked mischievously
This was the question that I had been waiting for, and this was the perfect time to tell him his role in all this.
In everything that I would doing, actually.
“Xayden and the elders have no idea that you’re with me, right? I’m sure they must know that you’re supporting your sister, thereby thinking you’re on their side, right?” I asked and he nodded.
“Good…” I said and then proceeded to tell him my plan.
“You mean I have to play along with them. With Renee, Xayden and the elders?” He asked wtha distasteful look and I nodded
“Okay Alpha Frankie, consider it done. My loyalty is to you, and I’ll feed you the much-needed information you need, you be rest assured.” He said.
Xayden, that piece of shit has no idea what’s coming to him.
“I also have something I need to tell you about the abortion incident that no one knew.” I said looking at him seriously.

“Paula never lost the baby”
