Frankie was currently driving me to somewhere I wasn’t in the least bit aware of. He claimed that since I was too cooped up in the house, he wanted to take me out.
A fun time he had called it.
I had agreed as I wanted to give whatever this was that we had a chance since we seemed to have gotten closer over the weeks. I can’t say I had fully accepted him as my mate but after he had helped me escape Xayden’s clutches, I had began opening up to him and accepting him as my mate gradually.
I also felt the love and affection he had for me and It made me feel special. Everything Xayden had made me feel, with Alpha Frankie I felt the opposite, and it was a good thing. I wouldn’t say I was fully able to get over all the trauma but I knew that with such continuous care, love and affection, I would one day fully open my heart to him.
“Can you do something for me?” Alpha Frankie asked as soon as the car came to a halt. I didn’t even get a chance to assess my surroundings before I turned to face him.
“Yes?” I asked curiously.
“It’s nothing much actually” He said as he leaned in closer to me.
My heart started beating erratically as my mind conjured the dirtiest thoughts. I didn’t even think for a second that even with all I had been through, especially with intimacy, I would still think about doing such things.
My face started heating up and I was sure I was tomato red with the feel of his breath on my face. He leaned in closer and I expected him to kiss me so I puckered up.
“Done” I heard him say and confusion overwhelmed me.
When I opened my eyes, it was immediately replaced by embarrassment as I saw that he was holding the seat belt in his hand while staring at me in confusion. He tilted his head and kept looking between my puckered lip and the seatbelt and I prayed the earth would open up and swallow me.
It then seemed to click as a smirk soon appeared on his face and then he wiggled his eyebrow before speaking.
“Oh, so you wanted a kiss, right?” He said with a shit eating grin plastered on his face.
I shot him a glare to hide my embarrassment and climbed out of the car in rush.
How embarrassing!
He was such a tease!
I could hear his laughter as he followed behind me and I just wanted to disappear. Like, could he just not embarrass me even further as it was his fault for sending the wrong signals.
‘What a Douche! I wasn’t going to speak to him anymore’ I thought as my embarrassment evolved into fury.
“Wait please” he said amidst chuckles.
“I didn’t mean to embarrass you. I just found your reaction cute, that’s all” he called out behind me as he seemed to be getting closer.
“Relax…” He said as I felt his voice behind me.
“Can I?” He asked as he showed signs of holding me by the waist.
I wanted to refuse but when I looked into his and saw the expectant look there, my anger dissassipated and I found myself nodding an affirmative.
He wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me closer till we were separated by a hair’s length and stared straight into my eyes with an intensity I couldn’t comprehend.
“Don’t be embarrassed Paula as I also really wanted to kiss you, I just held myself back as I figured you were not ready for such a big step. Forgive me for laughing at you, alright?” He said in a sincere tone and I practically melted.
All I could do was nod at him stupidly, my face heating up at our close proximity.
“Also, where were you going previously? You obviously don’t know where I was taking you so where were you running off to?” He asked as a smirk donned his face.
It was then that I realized when I was trying to flea from him in embarrassment, I had waked a distance from the car. I looked around and tried to observe my surroundings but all I could see were densely packed trees as far as the eyes could see before me.
“It’s actually not that way” he said as he noticed how I was eyeing the expanse of trees in obvious confusion.
“It is actually a surprise and I would like to ask for your permission to blindfold you so I can take you there.” He said cautiously.
I knew he was scared of hurting or upsetting me but this was just too much as he was treating me way too carefully.
I nodded in affirmation and he smiled before he released me from his embrace and proceeded to blindfold me. Before I could adjust, I found myself being lifted from the ground and into his comfy hands. I squealed in surprise obviously not expecting that but he just chuckled as he began walking off to God knows where.
After walking for a while, Frankie abruptly stopped, placing me down gently and undid my blindfold. I squint at the rush of light from the sun but soon my vision clears up and I take note of my surroundings.
“Wow” I said as I gasped at the scenery before me.
The place looked like something out of heaven.
It was a vast greenland with numerous types of flowers as far as the eyes could reach. There was a clear and beautiful stream that ran smoothly amidst the expanse of flowers. The cool breeze that blew on one’s body was extremely fresh and made one be at peace. All in all, the place was beautiful. In the middle of the field and close to the stream was a cute picnic basket that had two baskets on it.
“Do you like it?” Frankie asked snapping me out of my trance.
“I love it! Thank you so much” I said before I impulsively went to hug him.
When I realized what I had done, my face reddened and I backed away almost instantly.
“I’m glad you do.” He said while chuckling.
He took my hand in his and led me towards the picnic set up before gesturing for me to have my seat.
Once he was seated, he opened the basket and brought out piles of food and I couldn’t help but wonder who was going to eat all that. My question was soon answered as he pushed it all in my direction with a smile and said “I got it all for you so eat to your fill”
‘What? Did he think I was a glutton or something?’ I questioned as I began stuffing my face with food in an unladylike manner.
‘Okay! So maybe I was a truly a glutton but anyone would be if they were starved all their lives. I have to eat very well because I am also eating for two.’ I thought callously.
Frankie just watched me without judgement in his eyes and I was grateful for that. I swallowed my food and asked him why he wasn’t eating. He just smiled and said he was content just watching me eat.
I rolled my eyes at his corny words but a smile appeared on my face non the less. I urged him to eat and he did so while watching me all through.
Once we were done with eating and just laying down and resting, I suddenly remembered that I had something serious to tell him. I sat up and beckoned him to do the same as I told him I wanted to talk to him.
“I have something important to tell you” I said with a grave expression on my face.
“What is it?” Frankie asked worriedly seeing as I was suddenly so serious.
I took a deep breath and finally said it.
“I recently discovered that I am a Witch” I said and watched as his eyes widened in shock.

I walked very quickly with one destination in mind.
I had thought this over a million times in my head and finally concluded that this was my only option, especially after Frankie fucked my plan over.
‘I would just have to lose some to make some’ I thought as I approached the dungeon.
I stood in front of the cell door and glared at the person laying on the ground.
“Wake Up!” I barked and I watched as the person stand up listlessly.
“I have decided that I will take on your proposition.” I said impatiently.
I wouldn’t have accepted if I wasn’t out of options and currently desperate. It took some time for the person to respond as she seemed to be processing my words but replied anyway.
“Took you long enough.” she muttered, an evil smirk appearing on her wrinkled face.d
