Paula
I groggily opened my eyes but soon shut it immediately the bright light in the room hit my face.
I rubbed at my eyes with my hand and once it was clear enough, I opened my eyes once more.
“Ugghh” I groaned as I immediately registered the sore feeling all over my body.
“What the hell happened? Why do I feel like I have been hit by a train?” I asked out loud.
“Well I can say with confidence that it sure wasn’t a truck that hit you.” I heard a voice say beside me.
“Ohh okay. Thanks Frankie” I said subconsciously.
Wait what? Frankie?
I turned to my side sharply and I saw that he was sleeping besides me on the bed.
And he was naked! So was I!
I looked down at my sore body only to find that it was filled with hickeys, bite marks and red spots.
That was when it came rushing back to me. The pleasure, the sex, us finally mating and everything.
How could I have forgotten about it? That was the most pleasurable night of my life.
As I remembered everything, I couldn’t help but smile foolishly.
“Baby, what are you smiling about?” Frankie said as he began trailing his finger on my exposed stomach.
“Nothing much,” I said as my face heated up in embarrassment at being caught smiling about dirty thoughts.
He seemed to figure out my line of thoughts because he sat up, hovered over me with his sexy body and smirked down at me.
“Are you thinking about last night? You sure weren’t shy then so I don’t know why you will be now. I can still remember how you called out my name. Frankie! Frankie!” He said but I covered his mouth with my hand before he could continue.
My face was tomato red at this point. I covered my face with my other hand as embarrassment burned through me.
“Stop!”
He just chuckled he took my hand off his mouth.
“Alright, I won’t tease you anymore.” He assured.
Once I was sure he wasn’t going to, I uncovered my face and peeked at him.
“You look so cute peeking out from you arm like that. It kinda reminds me of a Bambi. They peek from behind trees to see if the coast is clear, then they prance around. I think that nickname will suit you. Bambi! Bambi! I like it…”
“Ughh, just shut up Frankie!” I blurted out but I covered my mouth once I realized what I had said.
I looked to check Frankie’s reaction and I found that he was surprised and……amused?
Why will someone be amused if they ask them to shut up?
“Wow. You don’t have to feel ashamed for developing a new personality. Hmmm, Quirky Paula. I kinda like this version of you” he said chuckling.
“I like that I am the first to see this version of you. Show me more of yourself please?”
I blushed as a warm feeling washed through me.
I remembered that when I was with Xayden, I couldn’t say anything that was out of line or tell him off without him flipping on me. Here with Frankie though, I found that I could always be myself.
“I will!”
“Okay Bambi.” He said
He looked like he wanted to get off me but changed his mind at the last moment.
“Also Good morning Bambi!” He said as he kissed my forehead.
“Good morning” I murmured
He totally crawled off me and went towards the bathroom butt naked.
“Where are you going?” I called out.
“Well….” He poked his head out from the bathroom door.
“As much as I would like to stay in bed with you….. And that is a hundred percent certain….I have to go. Besides, I need to take care of pack matters as Hawke has been trying to mindlink with me for a while now. Also I have to set up your training routine or have you forgotten you need to get stronger?” He Informed me as he drew his head back into bathroom.
Oh, Training! I had totally forgotten about that after yesterday’s episode with the elders.
I sighed deeply.
I had forgotten about all that happened yesterday after the night of bliss but now reality was coming back to catch up with me.
I wished I just stayed in that bubble alongside Frankie but I knew that was not possible.
I stared into space as I thought of all the things that had happened all through yesterday.
“Frankie?”
“I’m coming Bambi, I am almost done”
“Okay!”
I waited a bit and soon he came out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist. I felt drool running down the side of my mouth as I stared at his perfect abs and body.
“Paula!” I heard Frankie shout.
“Huh? What’s up? Why are you shouting my name?” I said as I glared at him.
“I have been calling you for a while now but you were just staring at me.” He said with a smug smirk on his face.
He then wiggled his eyebrows.
“I know that I am handsome but you don’t need to get lost admiring me.”
My face turned beet red and I buried it in the pillow. He just chuckled while cleaning his head with a towel.
“You also need to get ready as we will have to train as soon as I am done with settling whatever business Hawke has for me.”
I nodded and watched as he entered his closet and emerged fully dressed.
As I was about to get up and freshen up, I suddenly remembered one little fact.
“I forgot that this is not my room and I don’t have anything to wear”
“Oh, you don’t have to worry about that as I had asked Hawke to send a maid to bring a change of clothes up for you.”
“Also if you would allow me to, I would like to discuss the prospect of moving into my room as you were supposed to in the first place. You don’t have to say yes as you have a lot of time to think about it. You can think about it and tell me what you decide.” He announced and once I processed what he said, I nodded.
He bent forward and kissed me on the lips.
“I will see you in a bit so take care till then. Oh, by the way you look gorgeous when you just wake up.”
And with that he turned around and left but I lay there blushing and smiling foolishly at the compliment.
Frankie
Yesternight was a bliss and I had the best time of my life with Paula. We are mated and now we have become even closer than before.
I could feel snippets of her emotions as we had become connected even more.
Right now, I was on my way to my study as Hawke was waiting for me over there. I knew that with all that went down yesterday with Paula’s mother showing up and me confronting my father and the elders, I still had to deal with the aftermath whether I like it or not.
I sighed deeply when I thought about how hard that will be.
I might have been all macho and dominant to them yesterday but I knew that getting Paula to be my Luna wouldn’t be so easy. I was willing to fight either way because I was not going to give her up.
When I got to my study I entered and noticed Hawke sitting there but the weird thing was that he was not alone.
Anne was in the room with him.
What the hell?
Why would Hawke keep mind-linking me about important pack business if Anne was with him?
“What’s going on here?” I asked with a confused look on my face.
“I thought you said that we had pack business to discuss? What’s Anne doing here? No offence Anne but this is not a time for you to be here.”
“Frankie,” Anne called out but I wasn’t looking at her. I was looking to Hawke for an explanation.
“Well… Anne here just told me that she wanted you to assign her a position in the pack.”
“What?”
“What do you mean a position in the pack? I don’t understand what is going on here.”
“Well… Annie can explain better on her own.”
“Frankie. I…I just haven’t been doing anything here ever since I came and that is bugging me.” Annie answered while fiddling with her fingers.
“Oh I’m sorry about that but that was because I thought you needed to heal especially after what you went through in the hands of Xayden.”
“Yes I know but I feel like an invalid anytime I just have to sit in my room all day doing nothing. I remember that before I went missing, I was always involved in these affairs. You, I and Hawke were always involved in making decisions even though I wasn’t given an official position.”
“So I wanted to ask if we could be like that once more. I, Hawke and you back together like before,” she finished her speech with her with eyes that were glistening with expectations.
As I looked at her face, I didn’t want to break her heart by rejecting her proposition but I knew I had to. I had a lot of reasons that I should. I sighed and began explaining little by little.
“Yes I remember how we used to be but that was ten years ago and now times have changed. I don’t think….” I said but trailed off when she interrupted me.
“I know something bad about your father and Xayden that no one does. If you are willing to take me back, I will tell you.” She said and I froze in shock at what I was hearing.
“What? Are you blackmailing me?”
