The air turned electric as Vivian's piercing scream sent icy fingers crawling down my back.
I exhaled slowly, letting my eyes smolder as I slipped off the bed and draped myself across the floor in one fluid motion.
If Nathan had the audacity to degrade my sister so shamelessly, I sure as hell wasn't going to let him show me up.
"Hey there, handsome," I murmured, my voice dripping with honeyed temptation as I locked eyes with Daniel. "Tell me—you any good with that putter?"
Daniel's Adam's apple jumped as he raked his gaze over me before stalking toward the wall to grab the titanium club.
"I play rough and don't slow down." His voice was low, dangerous. "Hope you can keep up."
I arched my back, my pulse hammering as the obscene noises from Nathan's side of the room tangled my thoughts.
"Then come prove it, big boy~"
Then—just for a second—I caught it. A flash of emerald in Daniel's eyes.
He raised the putter—
And the door exploded open.
Daniel dropped the club instantly. Nathan fumbled with his pants.
A squad of men stormed in, led by a stone-faced figure whispering to a masked accomplice.
My stomach twisted when I saw the masked man's expression shift—first stunned, then pure venom.
Shit. Did they make us?
Every muscle in my body coiled tight as I watched them, ready to bolt.
The masked man yanked out black hoods and shoved them over our heads.
We thrashed, but when Nathan doubled over from a vicious gut punch, we went still.
Heart slamming against my ribs, I let them drag us forward like rag dolls.
When the hoods ripped away, we were on the deck of a monstrous yacht, surrounded by nothing but ocean.
No land in sight.
Stripped bare, I was shoved toward the bow.
A sea of wealthy men—some I recognized, including the city's most powerful billionaire—lounged around, their hungry eyes crawling over me.
Women writhed on the deck, clawing through mountains of cash like starved animals, their pupils blown wide.
The whole place reeked of sick, velvet-coated depravity.
Then—my sweet, innocent sister started dancing.
Not just dancing. Undulating.
With every piece of clothing that hit the deck, her movements turned filthier. Masked men cracked whips across her bare skin.
But what made my blood freeze?
The way the staff treated her—like she was royalty.
My stomach plummeted.
"Your sister's been very well-trained, Officer Langley."
I spun, fist flying—but a masked brute locked me in a chokehold from behind.
Helpless, I watched as he gave a sharp whistle.
Vivian crawled to him like a dog.
When he crooned, "Good girl," she turned to me.
"What the hell did you do to her?!" I screamed, sweat stinging my eyes.
The masked man traced a gloved finger down my cheek and laughed.
"Easy. You're going to be my new pet. Just like her."
I bared my teeth, ready to go down swinging—until he nodded toward the corner.
Nathan and Daniel, bound and beaten.
"Play nice," he murmured, "or they die."
Then he forced the cold titanium putter into my trembling hand.
