The morning sun filtered through the curtains, but the warmth in Neil’s room hadn’t faded overnight.
Avni woke with a quiet smile, feeling closer to Neil than ever before.
But reality didn’t wait.
As she got ready, her phone buzzed with a message — from someone unexpected.
“We need to talk. It’s about Neil.”
Her heart skipped.
Outside the mansion, the world didn’t care about their fragile peace.
Old rivals, family expectations, and secrets threatened to pull them apart again.
Neil noticed the change as soon as Avni showed him the message.
His jaw tightened, eyes hardening.
“Who is it?” he demanded.
Avni hesitated, then showed him the screen.
Neil’s fists clenched.
“This isn’t over,” he said darkly.
Neil paced the room, mind racing.
“Who sent this?” Avni asked softly.
“I don’t know yet. But whoever it is, they want to stir trouble.”
Avni stepped closer.
“We can face it together.”
For the first time, Neil looked at her — really looked at her — with something like trust.
“Okay,” he said finally. “But you have to be careful. This isn’t just business; it’s personal.”
Avni nodded, determination shining in her eyes.
“We’ll handle it. Together.”
Neil’s cold exterior softened, replaced by fierce protectiveness.
No matter what came their way, they would face it as one.
Neil’s sleek car pulled up to a quiet café on the outskirts of the city. The message had led them here — a place where secrets whispered beneath the hum of espresso machines and murmured conversations.
Avni sat beside Neil, her hand resting lightly on his arm. The warmth between them was a silent vow: no matter what, they stood together.
Inside, a shadowy figure waited. As Neil approached, the man looked up, eyes sharp and calculating.
“So, you’re the woman,” the man said, voice dripping with malice.
Avni met his gaze steadily.
“Who are you? What do you want from Neil?”
The man smiled coldly.
“Let’s just say, I have information that could ruin everything for you both.”
Neil’s jaw tightened.
“If you want a fight, you’ve found one.”
But Avni raised a hand, calm and resolute.
“We don’t want to fight. We want answers.”
For a moment, silence stretched — heavy, dangerous.
Then the man leaned in, voice low.
“Meet me tomorrow. Come alone. Or the truth will come out on its own.”
Neil and Avni exchanged a glance — a silent promise to face whatever came next together.
