THIRD PERSON POV
On the witch side, the witch leader was smashing all the things inside their mansion. Even some of the walls had either a crack or a hole because the witch leader was enraged and her aggressive personality was acting up again.
“WHY?! WHY?! EVERYTHING IS NOT GOING ACCORDING TO PLAN?! IT’S ALL BECAUSE OF THAT WOMAN!”
The witch leader angrily shouted as her loud voice shook the mansion and some of the paintings that were hanging on the wall, even slipped and dropped on the ground. The place where the witch leader resides was burning and was filled with fire. It was glowing and heating up.
Yet the witch leader who was inside hadn’t even been burned or got hurt by the large fire. It was as if the witch leader was the fire herself.
Even the witches who were the witch leader’s subordinates didn’t even dare to make a sound nor even move from their spot. They were pale as paper and weren’t even breathing, afraid that if they made a noise, they would be implicated by the anger of the witch leader.
“f**k! DAMN IT ALL! DIE! DIE! THEY SHOULD ALL JUST DIE! EVERYTHING BECOMES A MESS! KILL THAT f*****g BRAT NAMED KALE! HOW DARE HE FOOL US!” The witch leader angrily yelled as she kept on smashing all the things that she saw out of anger.
Although the witches don’t want to face the witch leader, especially since she was in a terrible mood right now, they still don’t dare to answer the witch leader otherwise they would die most painfully.
Just like how the witch leader cruelly killed Rile, who was the one who killed the twenty young maidens yet didn’t destroy their bodies which were why the families of the victims were alerted. Because of that, the witch leader was angered and killed him directly to let him become ashes.
However, these witches knew that Rile wasn’t dead yet. He was dead yet at the same time, he wasn’t. It was because he was being repeated as dying than being alive than getting burned to ashes again and those cycles kept on repeating continuously.
It was even worse than death. That’s why some of the witches would rather die at the hands of their enemy rather than die at the hands of the witch leader.
It was because the witch leader was the most vicious, fearless, merciless, and cold-hearted. She treated everyone as her puppet. She doesn’t see beings living but rather, she sees them as ants whom she can easily crush with her strength.
She doesn’t fear anyone. Whether it is death.
It was because she couldn’t die.
That’s why she developed paranoia and tried many ways to kill herself but in the end, she was still alive.
Which was why she was resentful of herself and the world. She wanted to destroy the world and maybe that way, she could rest in peace.
The witches couldn’t understand why the witch leader was resentful of the fact that she can’t die. However, one of the subordinates slipped out of his tongue and got the courage to ask the witch leader why she wanted to die when it is better to rejoice that she can’t die and is an immortal being.
After that moment, the witch leader was enraged and chopped off the body of the subordinate who asked that question, letting him die over and over again.
Starting that day, no one dared to question the witch leader. They didn’t even dare to say anything to the witch leader and they also paid attention to every one of the words that they would utter, afraid that they might say something unpleasant that could provoke the anger of the witch leader.
One of the subordinates kneeled in front of the witch leader and politely bow his head and calmly asked.
“May I ask what your orders are, Leader? We will do our utmost best to complete the mission.”
The witch leader who had just taken a breather coldly glanced at the subordinate who kneeled in front of her and sneered. She could perceive the nervousness and fear of the courageous man in front of her.
However, she doesn’t despise it. Rather, she was pleased.
The witch leader glanced at him and coldly uttered the next words. “Kill that named Kale. He needs to be wiped out as soon as possible. That bastard just tried to fool me, and fool us with his gentle appearance!”
When the subordinate heard her words, he politely nodded his head and solemnly answered. “I receive it, Leader. I will do my best to kill that man named Kale.”
Hearing that, the witch leader was satisfied despite that she wasn’t optimistic about him.
Before the subordinate left, the witch leader also didn’t forget to remind them.
“Also, about that woman named Arielle, just torture her and made her suffer but don’t kill her. If any of you kills that woman, I will kill you myself. Just torture her or beat her but don’t ever kill her. You all understand that?” The witch leader coldly commanded while her eyes flickered with red light while looking at the witches.
The witches shivered after they receive the line of their leader’s eyesight. They instinctively nodded their head and memorized the warning of their leader.
After that, the witch leader lazily shoos them away. “Now get out of my room. I need to sleep for a week to calm myself. Otherwise, I would go out of this mansion and kill anyone whom I would see. Just remember the words that I left. Once I woke up and the mission that I had given to all of you wasn’t completed, then you better prepare for my anger.”
The witches shivered and they all hurriedly now at the witch leader before they shoo away.
After seeing them leave, the room earlier was messy and was filled with large holes and cracks, however with just a snap of her finger, everything returned normal.
The witch walked towards her king-size bed and took out the small photo frame on her desk and stared at it.
Her eyes softened while looking at the photo frame and her finger softly caress the frame.
ON Arielle’S SIDE, they were sitting on the chair, facing each other while spitting out some of the information that they just got.
“Their so-called witch leader is suspicious. She seemed to be omnipotent but at the same time, she isn’t. I felt like she had control of her subordinates’ life.” It was Arielle who spit out those words while thinking heavily.
Lawrence also nodded his head. “When I was fighting with the second witch, she whispered something before she died. She warned me to watch out for the witch leader and she wanted me to kill her.”
Hearing his words, Kale’s eyes widened as he looked at Lawrence with pure curiosity. “Isn’t that suspicious? Why would that witch want its enemy to kill her?”
Lawrence shrugged his shoulder. “That’s what I wanted to know either. Those witches seemed to be afraid of the witch leader that they wanted to die in the hands of their enemies.”
Havoc, who had been quiet since earlier, also spoke to voice out his opinion. “Should we meet with Ishid and Drake? They might already gain some information that could fill the piece of our broken information. Some things are still hard to understand but if we have enough information, I’m sure that we could deduce all of this. We might find out how to kill the witch leader.”
“You can’t.”
This time, it was Kale who opposed it.
“You can’t.”

However, what’s more, surprising was that Kale this time was serious. This time, he doesn’t have the gentle facade plastered on his face, which made them look at him with surprise.
After all, this was the first time that they have seen him being serious which surprised them.
Including Havoc, who was staring carefully at Kale.
Kale didn’t mind their stares and answered with seriousness. “I haven’t told you the truth—no, I left the most important clue and didn’t tell you all anything about it earlier.”

Kale’s eyes twinkled in delight, especially after Havoc’s gaze on him, and immediately nodded his head, making Havoc’s eyes soften as his mouth curved up.
Kale answered right away, “That’s right! They have been watching me ever since I got out of the amulet. It seemed that the witch leader noticed that I was freed from the amulet!”
“And what was it that you wanted to say to us? and what do you mean by we can’t kill the witch leader?” This time, it was Lawrence who asked with a gentle face while looking at Kale, not minding the love-fool Havoc who was smiling sweetly at Kale.
Kale’s cheeks flushed at the way Havoc gazed at him but after seeing that there was still someone in the room, he cleared his throat and fake his cough before he started speaking.
“When I was inside the amulet, I saw something that I shouldn’t have seen from the memories of the witch who impersonate me, though it was just a glimpse it was such important information. In his memories, although I couldn’t see the face of the witch leader or his appearance because it was foggy but some of the voices contained about the witch leader.”
“Indeed, they feared the witch leader more than anyone and even their lives were in the witch leader’s hands. However, from what I have heard, their witch leader was a suicidal being who doesn’t want to live but was forced to live.”
Hearing this, Arielle’s brows furrowed as she started thinking deeply before she asked. “Suicidal being? The witch leader? How come?”
Kale helplessly sighed and shrugged his shoulder. “That’s what I wanted to know either. I just hear their conversation vaguely and after that, it was blocked. As if some force was trying to prevent any information about them from being heard or being leaked.”
“However, what’s more, suspicious was that the witch leader was forced to live even if she wanted to want to. What does this imply?” Lawrence asked with brows furrowed, seemingly to be thinking about what that words meant.
Even Kale was also helpless because he doesn’t know either.
All he knew is that the witch leader isn’t easy to deal with.
If he can, he would just want to meet the witch leader and talk about having to sort out all of the problems then he at peace with the witches. However, this was the witch leader that they were talking about… peace would be easy to be brought.
