Damn. I never thought that I was in a coma for almost a week. I thought that it was just my normal sleeping time that’s why in my dream, I decided to not wake up since I was watching my past life slowly flood my mind, allowing me to remember all of the memories that I had in my past.
Everything about it.
Now that I come to think of it, I suddenly felt that I am living my whole life in life.
I raised my head and looked at Drake who had dark circles underneath his eyes he looked haggard yet despite that, he still stood proud and he had this aura around him that couldn’t be underestimated nor be casually talked to especially for others because he looked cold and distant when it comes to another person.
When I saw him checking up on me again, I let out a helpless smile as I said, “I am really fine now. It was my fault for not waking up immediately, thinking that I was just sleeping for hours.”
When Drake heard that, he shook his head and pursed his lips aggrievedly, and guide my hands to caress his face.
“I was so scared.” Drake softly murmured enough for me to hear his words.
Hearing that, I felt worried and guilty. I patted him on his head and ruined his messed hairstyle as I softly swear to him while looking at him in the eyes.
“I promise you that it won’t happen again.”
After I said that, although Drake was still worried that it might happen again he was temporarily satisfied with my words.
Then I raised my head and looked at Havoc and Kale who were also watching—more like it was just Kale who was watching since Havoc, on the other hand, was talking with someone on the call.
Seeing me look at him, Kale walked toward the other side of the bed and gently smile at me.
“Drake was very worried about you to the point that he hardly eats in time, or takes care of his body, and just stays here right beside you, waiting for you l to wake up. Also, he seldom speaks with anyone and he has this cold expression and gloomy aura around him that even the nurses and the doctor were afraid to talk to him.” Kale softly said with a smile on his face.
Meanwhile, when I heard this, my brows tightened as I turned my gaze at Drake who doesn’t have any expression on his face nor he could get angry at Kale for telling the truth to me because it was all true and he was guilty of it.
My eyes squinted as the hand that was caressing his face, reached out to squeeze his ears, making him flinch.
“So this is what you did while I was in a coma? You didn’t think that I would be worried about you once I woke up? Do you not want me to wake up given how careless you are?” I glared at him, making Drake pursed his lips and looked at me with a grievance.
I rolled my eyes at him and added, “If you would dare to do this again while I was asleep or even injured in the future, and when I woke up, I would see you in this state, I swear Drake Ferrer, I will let you sleep outside of my room.”
When Drake heard that, his face darkened but in the end, he nodded his head. “I swear, it won’t happen again.”
After hearing that, I nodded my head in satisfaction and there were also smiles hanging on Kale’s playful lips.
“Don’t worry, we will report it to you if Drake did this again. I mean, not taking care of himself rather.” Kale said with a cheerful smile hanging on his lips, making Drake roll his eyes.
“Traitor,” Drake muttered without looking at Kale but Kale knows that he was referring to him.
Kale just chuckled and didn’t say anything.
Instead, I asked them, “Where are Ishid and Arielle? I haven’t seen them for so long.”
Drake was the one who answered in a calm tone. “They wanted to come here and visit you but I didn’t let them.”
I tilted my head to the other side, looking at Drake with curiosity. “Why?” I asked.
He answered, “It’s because if they would leave and leave the Cresent Pack alone, those witches would use that opportunity to slip inside and attack my packs especially since the witch leader was starting to get angry at us and wanted us to get lost. Now, I’m starting to doubt that there might be a witch who managed to slip under the nose of the patrol guards since these days, those witches are unusually quiet and peaceful.”

Whenever I thought of her, I was suddenly reminded of my dream.

Teardrops started to fall on my cheeks as I felt my heart being clenched by a force.

I reached out to touch his face as I looked him in the eyes. A sweet smile appeared on my lips which made him stunned as I softly whispered in my heart.
‘Grandma, I know that you are always watching this hardheaded granddaughter of yours, and just like what you said to me when I was a child, I would find someone who will love me as much as how I love you. Now, there were three of them who loved me as much as you do. But, don’t be jealous because grandma, you will always have a special place in my heart.’
I let out a soft chuckle when I saw him panicked. I buried my face in his chest as I hugged him tightly
