baby babbles - Chapter 16: Chapter 16

It was Harry's first night in Horlik house hold. He was unsure of himself and being five he didn't want to seem to clingy or problematic so he stayed out of his father's way. He even stayed away from his little brothers which he had two of.
Liam who was only a year old and then there was Louis who was three and they needed a lot of attention and Harry being five didn't want to create a lot of drama and get in the way afraid they'd get fed up and send him ck and he'd spent two years in that place on his own and he didn't want to go ck.
"Come on boy's it's time for bed!" Zayn shouted as he walked into the play room. Liam was already in bed, haven been put down a few hours ago. Harry and Louis were staring at each other as they sat in the room. Louis had been waving things at Harry and trying to get him to play but the other boy didn't really want to play because he didn't really know how.
"Papa!" Louis wailed as he threw his arms up frowning and pointing at Harry. Zayn rolled his eyes as he picked up the three year old.
"Be nice Louis, He'll play with you eventual," Zayn smiled as he reached a hand out for harry to take. The five year old frowned for a minute picking up his little stuffed Panda and stuffing it into his side as he reached his hand up and took his father's hand.
"Wan' pway now!" Louis fussed. He could be quite a bit of a diva. It always amused Niall and Zayn because he was such a little drama queen, how they'd ended up with two cute little well behaved children and a complete Diva child he'd never know.
"What are you fussing about mister?" Niall asked, he was already in the boy's bed room a small smile on his face holding Louis' favorite book in his hands so that he would go to bed with ease.
"Hawwy no pway wiff me!" Louis huffed as Zayn handed him off to Niall. Harry mean while began to tear up not understanding why Louis was so upset with him. He didn't know how to play with other kids. While he was in the orphanage he kept mainly to himself and he never really had toys to play with.
"be, It's Harry's first night you need to be nice," Niall explained and Harry sniffled his grip tightening on Zayn's hands and The raven haired boy let out a sigh as Harry kind of hid behind his leg.
"But! But!" Louis protested as Niall grabbed him up and tucked him into the bed nice and snug so he couldn't squirm out of his blankets. The feathery haired toddler huffed and looked up at his daddies.
"Louis Tomlinson, that's enough you are upsetting Harry," Zayn said firmly looking pointedly at the three year old who pouted out his bottom lip and looked at his dad with the most innocent look on his face.
"Yeah yeah, you are lucky you are cute," Zayn laughed and Harry sniffled pressing his face against Zayn's leg.
"I sowwy Papa," He mumbled. Niall just laughed and kissed Louis' forehead gently.
"I sowwy Hawwy!" He chirped and cuddled into his bed reaching out for his stuffed Kitten pulling it against his chest.
"I seepy," He announced and the fathers exchanged another small laugh before Niall resumed Louis' bed time routine.
"You gotta go potty before bed be?" Zayn asked crouching down to the little boy's level.
Harry looked up at him wide eyed and shook his head. The raven haired boy nodded, "Want some help changing into your pajama's?" Harry's head bounced in an eager nod. He smiled and pulled out some pajama's for the little boy.
Niall was sitting on the bed to Louis reading and combing his fingers through the little one's hair and with in a few minutes he was out like a light.
Louis was asleep by the time that Harry was actually ready for bed. Niall turned his attention to their newly adopted son. He fully expected tonight to be a little rough and surprisingly it'd just been a little quite.
"Ok, Daddy and Papa will be just down the hall ok? You come get us if you need us," The blonde father pressed a gentle kiss to the little boy's head before leaving the room.
Zayn smiled and tucked Harry in pressing a kiss to his forehead and shutting the light off flipping the night light on and deciding he'd really like to spend some quality cuddle time with his husnd.
Niall and Zayn were laying curled up in bed watching their favorite movie on television when a small cry caught their attention and then little feet were padding down the hall way and a little Louis appeared in their room. Niall frowned as he looked at the tired little boy standing in the door way his panda clutched to his chest.
"Papa, Daddy," Louis mumbled rubbing at his eyes as he shoved his face into his panda looking up tiredly at the older men.
"Hazza had an as'ident" He mumbled looking at his daddies, "an' he cwying lots," He mumbled yawning into his Panda bear.
"alright Lou, why don't you come lay ck down ok?" Niall hummed picking up Louis and carried him ck into his bed room frowning at the sight before him. Harry was sitting in the bed his legs were soaked and his sheets were as well and he looked absolutely terrified.
"Aww Harry honey," Zayn cooed gently as Niall situated the tired three year old ck into his bed. "it's ok love, it's just an accident," He hummed trying to calm the distraught fie year old.
"Why don't you take him to get cleaned off and I'll take care of his sheets and such ok?" Niall suggested and Zayn nodded figuring that would probly be best. Harry seemed to stick to Zayn since Zayn had been the one to spot him first they'd created a little bit of a connection.
"Come on bud let's get you clean ok?" Harry nodded weakly hugging his stuffed kitten to his chest as he climbed out of bed letting Zayn lead him to the throom.
The raven haired male tugged at the boys wet pants and shirt getting them off he tugged the little boys underwear off and started the th. Harry's eyes got huge and he started to sob even harder.
"I sorry! I sorry! Please! No! please!" Harry started to scream and thrash around tears pouring down the little boy's face as the th started to fill. Zayn looked a little shocked not sure what Harry was apologizing for or why he was freaking out.
"hey, whoa, whoa buddy it's ok," He ushered trying to calm the little one down. Harry looked at the th and then looked at Zayn tears and fear written all over his face.
"I SORRY!" he screamed as he ran and hid beside the toilet. Zayn made a face because he was naked hiding next to the toilet and that was gross but as soon as Niall rushed into the room he looked up.
"He won't quit apologizing and screaming, do you know what's wrong with him?" He asked softly The blonde thought hard for a moment before remembering what the social worker had told him.
"His dad used to punish him with water, remember? She said his old dad used to try and drown him when he had accidents," Niall rushed and Zayn felt his whole body go cold. Harry thought they were going to hurt him. He sighed.
"No by, You want to take a shower with papa instead?" Zayn asked softly as he looked at Harry who looked a little confused.
"I'm going to try and get him to shower with me, Make sure Lou get's ck to sleep ok?" Niall just nodded as another small cry echoed through the house.
"I'll be there to help with Liam in a bit," He hummed and his blonde husnd just nodded and left the room.
Harry slowly came out from behind the toilet fear still scribbled all over his features but the th was draining and suddenly it was raining from the top of the th and Harry was all sorts of confused.
He'd never seen a shower before. Zayn stripped off all of his clothes and picked up Harry before stepping into the shower. At first Harry cried and thrashed a bit but after he realized that he was ok he rested his head against Zayn and let him clean him up.
The shower lasted a little longer than Zayn meant it too, by the time he was stepping out Harry was ck to an almost zombie like state against his shoulders. He laughed and slipped a pull up on the boy for the night incase he had any more accidents and put a clean pair of pajama's on the boy.
"Wanna come sleep with Daddy and papa tonight?" Harry nodded sleepily and reached ck out for Zayn.
Zayn just smiled and picked up the curly haired boy and let him curl up at his side even as he dressed himself leaving a shirt off because he didn't want to set Harry down any more.
He made his way ck to the room finding his husnd asleep with Louis and Liam curled up against him. Liam was asleep on niall's chest and louis was curled up at his side sucking his thumb.
The raven haired boy crawled onto the bed carefully and laid ck letting Harry adjust himself so tht he was laying against Harry's chest his face nuzzled into his neck.
"Wub you Papa, wub, boo, wub Li, wub Dada," Harry mumbled muffled into Zayn's neck. Zayn just grinned and rubbed Harry's ck.
"We love you too by, Get some sleep, We aren't going any where," He reassured and Harry nodded into his neck his eyes falling shut and Zayn at that moment realized this was his family and it was finally complete.
